(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 8 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 7 were illegally arrested.

1. [Beijing] Ms. Wen Mulan Arrested

Ms. Wen Mulan was recently arrested by officers from Dachengzi Police Station for distributing table calendars which had information about the persecution of Falun Gong on them.

2. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Yulan Detained

Ms. Zhang Yulan was arrested by officers from the Zhengcha Police Station in Jiangyuan District on October 24, 2017. She is currently held at the Heigouzi Detention Center in Baishan.

3. [Wuhu City, Anhui Province] Ms. Lu Shoumei Arrested

Ms. Wu Shoumei was recently arrested and had her home ransacked by local police officers. They confiscated computers, printers, and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Ji Jutong and Mr. Ji Yuliang Detained

Mr. Ji Jutong was arrested at home by officers from Chengyang Police Station on October 24, 2017. The police confiscated all of his Falun Gong books. He is currently held at the Pudong Detention Center in Jimo City.

Mr. Ji Yuliang was arrested at his workplace by officers from the Chengyang Police Station on October 26, 2017. The police ransacked his home. He is currently held at the Xiaozhuang Detention Center in Xifu Town.

5. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Xiufeng Detained

Mr. Zhang Xiufeng was arrested on October 23, 2017 and is currently held at the Qiongshui County Detention Center.

6. [Renqiu City, Hebei Province] Ms. Cui Lanqin Detained

Ms. Cui Lanqin was arrested by officers from the Daodong Police Station on October 27, 2017. She is held at the Baoding Detention Center in Baoding.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Fu Shengqiang Detained

Mr. Fu Shengqiang was arrested and taken to Bali Detention Center by officers from the Huangpi District Police Department on October 6, 2016. He was tried and sentenced to a one-year-and-nine-month prison term and fined 2,000 yuan by the Huangpi Distrcit Court on June 23, 2017. He is still held at the detention center.

8. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Ou Zhaoan Arrested

Ms. Ou Zhaoan was arrested at the Guangzhou Railway Station in late October 2017. He is currently detained in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.

Four officers from Guangzhou and a few officers from the local Domestic Security Division and 610 Office ransacked her home and confiscated money, laptop computers, cellphones and Falun Gong books.

9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Liu Arrested

Practitioner Liu was arrested by officers from the Xiangying Police Station on October 31, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Liu was taken to Jinzhou Police Department.

10. [Chaoyang County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuxia Sentenced

Ms. Zhang Xiuxia was arrested by officers from Shuangmiao Town Police Station on October 24, 2016. She was detained for five months. Recently, she learned that she was secretly sentenced to a one-year prison term with two years probation.

11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jiang Xiaoyan Hospitalized

Ms. Jiang Xiaoyan, arrested on October 9, 2017, became emaciated due to persecution and was taken to a hospital.

12. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Li Hua, Ms. Ji Guizhen, and Ms. Zhang Chunren were arrested by officers from the Wangkui County Police Department on October 27, 2017, for having informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong in their car. They are currently held at either the Wangkui County Detention Center or the Police Department building.
