Ms. Zhang Suqin, 61, from the Xilutian Neighborhood, Yuanbaoshan District, was arrested at another practitioner's home in the Tulou area, Xilutian Neighborhood, by Domestic Security officers on January 10, 2017. The officers confiscated Falun Gong books and photos of the founder of Falun Gong from the other practitioner's home.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Chen Xiaolin Detained

Ms. Chen Xiaolin, from Tsinghua University, was arrested by officers from the Shangdi Police Station, Haidian District, on January 6, 2017. She is held in the Sujiatuo Detention Center, Haidian District.

4. [Yanbian Prefecture, Jilin Province] Ms. Huang Jiaying and Her Husband Detained

Ms. Huang Jiaying and her husband from Tianqiaoling Town, Yanbian Prefecture, went to their daughter's home in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, on January 9, 2017 for the upcoming Chinese lunar new year season.

They were arrested by officers from the Airport Police Station at the security checkpoint, Longjia Airport, Changchun City, for carrying handwritten Falun Dafa lectures and symbols in their pockets. The couple was brought back that evening to Tianqiaoling Town by Li Shaowei, an officer from the local police department's Domestic Security Division. Both were taken to the Wangqing Forestry No. 2 Detention Center for 10 days of detention.

Mr. Yang Yuyong from Wuqing District went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution in a detention center on January 7, 2017. The guards shackled his hands and feet together with two large iron balls. He could not stand upright, and was forced into a bent over position.

Ms. Zhang Jinhong from Xinglong County was arrested and taken to the Shijiazhuang Women's Prison on January 4, 2017.

9. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Fengyun Arrested

Ms. Wang Fengyun was arrested at her rental home by officers from the Huayuan Police Station and the Weibei Police Station on the afternoon of January 10, 2017.

10. [Luoyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Gao Xuerong Arrested

Ms. Gao Xuerong was arrested and taken to the Luoyang Detention Center in early January 2017. She has become ill due to persecution. She was taken to the Luoyang No. 4 People's Hospital. No family visits were allowed.

11. [Qingyang City, Gansu Province] Ms. Duan Xiaoyan Sentenced

Ms. Duan Xiaoyan was recently sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Qingcheng County Court.

12. [Huining County, Gansu Province] Ms. Liu Zhenhua Detained

Ms. Liu Zhenhua from Baicaoyuan area was arrested by officers from the Huining County Domestic Security Division and the Baicaoyuan Police Station on the afternoon of January 10, 2017. She is detained for 15 days.

13. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. He Tao and Ms. Jing Cuizhen Taken to Liaoning Women's Prison

Mr. He Tao and Ms. Jing Cuizhen were taken to the Liaoning Women's Prison at the end of December 2016.

Ms. Liu Jing is still held in the Jinzhou City Detention Center.

14. [Chongqing] Mr. Zeng Zhijun Arrested

Mr. Zeng Zhijun from Shuangbei area, Shapingba District, was arrested at noon on January 5, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong.
