(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in 11 provinces. According to this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 31 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Xiujuan Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xiujuan from Yong'an Village was arrested at work by the director of the Liquan Neighborhood Committee, officials from the village and her division, and officers from the Xiguan Police Station on May 24, 2016. Ms. Zhang was taken to the 610 Office Brainwashing Center. Subsequently, she was taken back to where she works.

2. [Yangquan City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Zhai Yinxiang Arrested

Mr. Zhai Yinxiang from Pingding County was arrested by officers from the Nan'ao Police Station when he was talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of June 11, 2016. He was held in the police station for three hours before being released.

3. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Changlong Placed Under Criminal Detention

Mr. Wang Changlong from Gushan Town was arrested by officers from the Liudaogou Police Station in Dandong City when he distributed Falun Gong informational materials on June 13, 2016. His notebook computer, keys, and cell phone were confiscated. His home was then ransacked. He was placed under criminal detention for 30 days at the Jingu Detention Center in Dandong City.

4. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Shen Wenling Detained

Ms. Shen Wenling from Suizhong County was followed and arrested by officers from the Suizhong Domestic Security Division on June 13, 2016. She is still being held in the Huludao Detention Center.

5. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Hongmei and Ms. Mao Lanxin Arrested

Ms. Zhang Hongmei and Ms. Mao Lanxin were arrested while talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of May 18, 2016. Both of their homes were ransacked.

6. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Mao Cuilian Arrested

Ms. Mao Cuilian from Anlu City was arrested while she was distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Zhouyang Township on the morning of June 15, 2016. Her home was ransacked.

7. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Chengqin Detained

Ms. Wang Chengqin, 60, from Linzi District, was arrested at home by officers from the Fengshan Police Station in Qidu Town on June 13, 2016. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to a detention center.

8. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Su Chunxiu and Ms. Wei Fanjuan Detained

Ms. Su Chunxiu and Ms. Wei Fanjuan from Shizhong District were arrested while they were talking to people about Falun Gong on June 12, 2016. Both practitioners are being held in the Guihualou Detention Center.

9. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Yang Shucai, deputy head of the Yushu City Domestic Security Division, and other officers arrested Mr. Zhang Qingxiang, Mr. Hu Zhonghou, and Mr. Yu Aihua on the morning of June 15, 2016. The three practitioners were taken to the Yushu Detention Center for 10 days of detention.

10. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhao Yuzhen and Ms. Lin Zhenfeng Arrested

Ms. Zhao Yuzhen and Ms. Lin Zhenfeng, from Mayan Village, Xigao Town, Guanghan City, were arrested by officers from the Xigao Town Police Station when they posted Falun Gong informational materials on June 6, 2016.

11. [Qishan County, Shaanxi Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Mr. Jiao Bing'nan, Mr. Xu Mingxia, Ms. Li Ying, and Ms. Wang Zhaoxia were arrested by officers from the Qishan City 610 Officer when talking to people about Falun Gong at noon on June 13, 2016. They were held in the Qishan Detention Center.

12. [Yongning County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Jiang Tao Arrested

Mr. Jiang Tao was arrested on June 15, 2016.

13. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wen Shulin Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Wen Shulin was recently sentenced to three and a half years in prison by the Beihu District Court.

14. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Meixin Detained

Ms. Wang Meixin was arrested when she delivered Falun Gong informational materials to the Beigandao Police Station in the Longquanyi District on June 6, 2016. Her computer, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and Falun Gong books were confiscated. She is being held in the Longquanyi Detention Center.

15. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wen Xingtai and Mr. Zeng Xiangrui Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Wen Xingtai from Shehong County was sentenced to seven years in prison by the Shehong County Court on May 31, 2016. Mr. Zeng Xiangrui was sentenced to three years in prison,, with three years of probation.

16. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Chunguang and Ms. Wang Shuzhen from Shidao Town in Rongcheng City were arrested by officers from the Chishan Police Station on June 12, 2016. The police forcibly took blood samples and their fingerprints. Ms. Wang Chunguang was released that day. Ms. Wang Shuzhen was taken to the Rongcheng Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

Ms. Wang Shuhua and Ms. Fan Yuping from Shidao Town were arrested by officers from the Chishan Police Station when they talked to people about Falun Gong on June 15, 2016. Both were released that day.

17. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Ailing Arrested, Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Zhou Ailing, employee at the Wuhan City Trade and Industry Bureau, was arrested when she distributed Falun Gong informational materials on June 13, 2016. Her whereabouts are unknown.

18. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gu Xiang Detained

Ms. Gu Xiang from Daling Town was arrested by Li Xiao, deputy head of the Yushu City Domestic Security Division, and other officers on the morning of June 16, 2016. She was detained for 15 days.

19. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cheng Jinzhi and Ms. Li Junying Taken to Prison

After Ms. Cheng Jinzhi and Ms. Li Junying appealed their case, the Daqing City Intermediate Court upheld the original judgment on June 2, 2016. Both were taken to the Harbin Women's Prison on June 22, 2016.

20. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Jingquan and Wife Ms. Liu Jinru Arrested

Mr. Zhang Jingquan and his wife Ms. Liu Jinru from Lishu County were arrested by officers from the Lishu County 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division on the morning of June 16, 2016.

21. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Chengqin and Ms. Jia Lifeng Detained

Ms. Wang Chengqin and Ms. Jia Lifeng were arrested by officers from the Fengshan Police Station on June 13, 2016 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese Communist Party leader who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong. They were detained for 10 days.

22. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Mr. Bai Guanglin Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Bai Guanglin was sentenced to three years in prison by the Pingquan County Court on March 23, 2016. He was secretly taken to the Jidong Prison in Tangshan City.

Mr. Bai was arrested by officers from the Chengde City Domestic Security Division and the Pingquan County Domestic Security Division on September 22, 2015. His home was ransacked. He was held in the Pingquan County Detention Center.

23. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Huijuan Detained

Ms. Yu Huijuan was arrested by officers from the Nanta Police Department on the morning of June 13, 2016. She was held in the Chaoyang Detention Center.
