(Minghui.org) The 2016 New York Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was attended by nearly 10,000 practitioners from around the world last weekend, marking the largest gathering of this kind in the US to date.

After hearing the conference speakers, and in particular the speech given by the founder of Falun Dafa, Master Li Hongzhi, many practitioners said that they became clearer on the importance of Dafa practitioners' responsibilities to do better in raising awareness to the public.
The following are some reflections of several attendees.
Practitioner from Germany: There Is No Excuse to Not Do Well
Eva-Marie from Germany said that she understood from Master Li's lecture that “there is no excuse for Dafa practitioners to not do well in fulfilling their mission, because so many sentient beings are waiting for us to deliver the message of Falun Dafa to them. I feel it is very urgent," said Eva-Marie.
Practitioner from Latvia: Understanding Our Sacred Responsibility
Lauris from Latvia
Lauris from Latvia shared the same sense of urgency. He said, "I especially feel the urgency, as Master told us that every person in the human world came for the Fa and signed a pact with Dafa."
He added that Dafa practitioners should take the initiative to take responsibility for saving sentient beings. "Time waits for no one," he said, "We should closely follow the progress of the Fa-rectification, harmonize what Dafa wants and truly assist Master in Fa-rectification."
Lauris began practicing Falun Dafa in 2009 and it was his second time attending this conference in New York.
Practitioner from U.K.: Cherish Each Opportunity
Zek from London
Zek is from the Czeck Republic and lives in London. He has practiced Falun Dafa for 18 years and has traveled to New York for this event almost every year.
He said he heard Master say that there are still opportunities to save more sentient beings and to improve in cultivation so as to fulfill Dafa practitioners' vows, which made him realize that he had missed many opportunities, but he did not want to be trapped in regret. He realized that he needs to earnestly strive forward.
Australian Practitioner: Bringing Back Those Who Have Lagged Behind
Dr. Lucy Zhao
Dr. Lucy Zhao from Sydney is the coordinator of their local Falun Dafa Association. She said that she became more aware of the important responsibility of saving people and being a coordinator.
She said, "Master encouraged us to bring back those who have lagged behind or stopped cultivating, and awaken them, so that they will resume their cultivation and catch up. Master also said in the lecture that failing to do well in saving people amounts to an enormous crime, and we are the hope of sentient beings and Master.
"Master places the hope of saving sentient beings in us," she continued. "I feel Master's concerns and worries, because of the limited time and the many sentient beings who are still waiting to be saved."
"I will strive to do well and won't let Master worry. I'll bring more good news to Master," she said.
