(Minghui.org) The trial of a Tianjin woman charged for her faith was recently postponed for a second time.

Ms. Huang Huixiang, 45, was arrested on January 19, 2016 for refusing to renounce Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline being persecuted by the Chinese communist regime.

The police did not allow Ms. Huang’s family to visit her, saying she would be released in seven days. However, she has remained captive since her arrest.

Ms. Huang first appeared in court on August 3. When her lawyer questioned the prosecution evidence, the judge announced a postponement of the trial and adjourned the session immediately.

The second hearing was held on September 29. The same judge ended the session in less than 10 minutes, after the prosecutor claimed that he needed more time to gather evidence against Ms. Huang.

It is unclear when a third hearing would be scheduled.

Ms. Huang remains at Wuqing Detention Center, where she is suffering from recently developed heart symptoms.
