(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 13 provinces. According to this report, 4 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 39 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Lei Xiuxiang was arrested on July 9, 2015. She is being held in the Jilin City Detention Center.
2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Two female practitioners, both with the last name of Kong, were arrested on July 16, 2015.
3. [Pucheng County, Fujian Province] Ms. Peng Bingying Detained
Ms. Peng Bingying was arrested for distributing Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) informational materials on July 8, 2015. She is being held in the Pucheng County Detention Center for 12 days.
4. [Suiling County, Heilongjiang Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Meng Zhaohua, who is retired from the Suiling County Hospital, was arrested at home on July 16, 2015. The police confiscated a computer, a printer, and Falun Dafa books. She is being held in the Suiling County Police Department.
Around the same time, officers from the Heilongjiang Province Public Security Department, the Zhenbei Police Station in Suiling County, and the Xinshuguang Police Station also arrested Mr. Meng Xianrong, Mr. Meng's elder sister, Ms. Cui Mingyue, Mr. Xiu Zhongchen, Mr. Xiu's sister-in-law, Mr. Sun Chuantong, and Ms. Shen. The police confiscated computers and Falun Dafa books.

5. [Nanping City, Fujian Province] Ms. Wang Chun and Ms. Qiu Guiyun Arrested
Ms. Wang Chun and Ms. Qiu Guiyun from Shaowu City were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of February 4, 2015, for telling people about Falun Gong. The officers ransacked their homes. Ms. Wang was taken to the Shaowu City Detention Center. Ms. Qiu was released on bail.
6. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Elderly Ms. Zhou Ping Arrested
Plainclothes officers from the Economic Development Zone Police Station broke into Ms. Zhou Ping's home and arrested her. Ms. Zhou is 84 years old. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, three printers, Falun Dafa books, and informational materials.
7. [Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province] Four Practitioners Detained
Officers from the Domestic Security Divisions of the Dexing City Police Department and the Shangrao City Police Department arrested Ms. Liu Hongmei, Ms. Chu Qihua, Mr. Yang Yongjiang, and Mr. Jiang Haihua on July 14, 2015. The four practitioners are being held for 15 days.

8. [Zhanhua County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Linxia and Ms. Ma Sumei Arrested
Ms. Zhang Linxia and Ms. Ma Sumei were arrested on July 16, 2015, by officers from the Dagao Police Station for telling people about Falun Gong in the Liuzhong Township farm market.
9. [Tianjin] Mr. Gao Fengxian and Ms. Liu Shouzhen Arrested
Mr. Gao Fengxian and Ms. Liu Shouzhen from Taiping Town in the Dagang District were arrested by Taiping Police Station officers on the morning of July 16, 2015.
10. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Lihua and Ms. Sui Shumei Arrested
Ms. Wang Lihua and Ms. Sui Shumei from Nanlu Village, Jincheng Town, were arrested by Laizhou Police Department officers at the Xincheng Post Office of Jincheng Town on July 14, 2015. When the two practitioners asked why their lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, which had been sent by express mail, had not been sent to Beijing, the postal employees called the police.
Ms. Wang was released after signing the paperwork. Ms. Sui was taken to the Laizhou City Brainwashing Center.

11. [Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jin Hong Arrested
Ms. Jin Hong was arrested by four police officers when she was mailing her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin at the Dujia Post Office on the morning of July 16, 2015.
12. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Lin Shuhua Arrested
Mr. Lin Shuhua was arrested at home on July 15, 2015.
13. [Xiuwu County, Henan Province] Ms. Li Ju Arrested
Ms. Li Ju from Fangzhuang Town was arrested by officers from the Fangzhuang Town Police Station at a local post office while mailing her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin on July 11, 2015.
14. [Jiuquan City, Gansu Province] Ms. Xu Liying Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
The Suzhou District Court sentenced Ms. Xu Liying to three years in prison on July 2, 2015. The court did not notify Ms. Xu's family or lawyer about the trial.
15. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Jiang Suzhen Arrested
Local police officer Kong Xingguo and the director of the neighborhood committee went to Ms. Jiang Suzhen's home and ransacked it on July 10, 2015. They took Ms. Jiang to the Pishi Street Police Station. She was released the same day due to high blood pressure.
16. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Officers from the Zhucheng Police Department broke into Ms. Zhong Lihua's home in Qiujiazhuangzi Village on the afternoon of July 15, 2015. They arrested Ms. Zhong and Ms. Qiu Jiaxiu. Ms. Zhong was released the next day. Ms. Qiu was held for 10 days.
17. [Dongfeng County, Jilin Province] Mr. Dong Yufeng Arrested
Mr. Dong Yufeng was arrested on July 14, 2015.
18. [Shaodong County, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Feiyan Taken to Brainwashing Center
Officers from the Shaodong County Domestic Security Division, the Shuidongjiang Town Police Station and officials from the Shetianqiao Town Political and Legal Affairs Committee arrested Ms. Li Feiyan at work in the Yulong Furniture City on July 16, 2015. She was taken to the Shaoyang City Brainwashing Center.
19. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hong Guimei Detained
Ms. Hong Guimei was arrested by plainclothes officers on the morning of July 13, 2015, for telling people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Wuhan No. 1 Detention Center for 10 days.
20. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Five Practitioners and a Non Practitioner Arrested
Mr. Yan Houquan, his wife Ms. Wang, and their non-practitioner son were arrested on July 14, 2015. The police ransacked their home and confiscated a computer, a printer, Falun Dafa books, and other items.
That afternoon officers from the Xiaohe District Police Station broke into Ms. Liu Haixia's home and arrested her, Ms. Xu Hui, and Mr. Xu Kai. The police confiscated three computers, a printer, a router, and Falun Dafa books and informational materials.
21. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Ding Shuhui Illegally Sentenced to 11 Years
Ms. Ding Shuhui was arrested on November 3, 2014. Since then, she has been detained at the Harbin No. 2 Detention Center. When she was tried the first time on June 10, 2015, 610 Office agents and police officers videotaped the practitioners who came to the courthouse and threatened to arrest them.
Acheng District Court of Harbin secretly sentenced Ms. Ding to 11 years in prison in July 2015.
22. [Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province] Xuanhua District Court Tries Mr. Jia Pengfei a Second Time
The Xuanhua District Court placed Mr. Jia Penfei on trial for the second time on the morning of July 16, 2015. Fifteen people sat in on the hearing. His attorney pled not-guilty in his defense. Mr. Jia denied the alleged evidence. The judge called for an adjournment.
