(Minghui.org) Over 34,000 criminal complaints against former dictator Jiang Zemin were filed with China's highest courts, the Supreme People's Court and Supreme People's Procuratorate, located in Beijing, as of July 4, 2015.
Dictator Jiang, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), launched the persecution of Falun Gong, which claimed thousands of innocent lives and tore apart millions of families.
Falun Gong practitioners in and outside of China and their family members are seeking justice and compensation from the harm the persecution caused them. They have identified Jiang as the main culprit of the 16-year-long persecution in China.
Some of Jiang's minions have already met with karmic retribution, the traditional Asian concept of what goes around comes around. High-ranking officials such as former domestic security tsar Zhou Yongkang, former general Xu Caihou, former Politburo standing committee member Bo Xilai, and former 610 Office director Li Dongsheng have fallen out of power one after the other.
Although the official story is corruption, many Chinese suspect that they are paying for their crimes committed in the persecution of Falun Gong. All these protégés of Jiang rose to power because they followed his persecution policy closely. For this, they were accorded with power and corruption opportunities.
As the present Chinese “anti-corruption” campaign reaches the top, Jiang's end is near.
Jiang has a precedent in history. A Chinese historical figure resembles Jiang and his cronies. His name is Qin Hui. He framed and killed General Yue Fei, who was winning battles and helping China regain territory against invaders from the north during the Southern Song Dynasty. Thus, Qin had become notorious throughout history and is often cited when pointing to today's bad people.
Why did Qin do it? He did for his financial gain and his family. He did not achieve his goal. On the contrary, his wrongdoing ruined him and his family. His reputation was so bad that no one dared to claim to be his descendant.
On the same token, Jiang imposed his personal will on national organs. He demanded that they execute his persecution policy of “ruin their [Falun Gong practitioners'] reputation, cut off their finances, and destroy them physically.” He also forgave any infraction by law enforcement agencies against practitioners. For example, if a practitioner is beaten to death it counts as a suicide.
Yet some people followed such brutal policies and outright violations of human rights for their career advancement and financial gains. They may end up like Qin, who lost everything and brought misery to his future generations.
The lawsuits against Jiang Zemin are a necessary step to bring him to justice. But, it is also a warning to those who continue to follow his persecution policy.
Stop the crimes now and make up for all crimes you committed against Falun Gong before the window for such an opportunity closes.
