Growing Support for Falun Gong

It has only been a few months since Falun Gong practitioners began to file criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) who launched the persecution against Falun Gong. Many people have changed; their attitude seems to be growing more respectful towards Falun Gong practitioners and more disdainful of the CCP’s corruption.

I often meet with an 82-year-old man. Each time we see each other, he asks me if the trial of Jiang Zemin has been held. I tell him: “His time is coming soon. He must be put on trial! Actually, it seems he has already been put on trial in the hearts of people worldwide.”

People no longer are afraid to speak openly. For example, one person said, “Jiang Zemin is thoroughly corrupt. He should have already been arrested.” Countless people have made similar statements. A reporter told me that he asked CCP senior party leaders in a dream, “Why haven’t you restored the reputation of Falun Gong!”

Husband Stands Up to Condemn Jiang's Crimes

Three members of the local authorities, including a 610 Office agent, came to my house in September 2015 and asked me about my lawsuit against Jiang. I told them, “Yes, I have sued him. I sued him of course because he persecuted me. It is he who launched the persecution of Falun Gong. He is the person to be held responsible!”

My 80-year-old husband then said, “I have read what she wrote in her criminal complaint against Jiang. What she wrote are the facts. Jiang Zemin has committed nothing but bad deeds. He is leading a decadent life, which has been revealed and published in books.”

The three men left without having said another word.

My husband does not practice Falun Gong. He was not healthy and could not eat much food for more than 10 days because of a stomachache. I went with him to a hospital where he had a medical examination, including a blood test, X-ray, ultrasound, CT scans, and a biopsy. A doctor thought that he might have cancer and asked him to have further tests. However, after I sued Jiang Zemin and received receipts from the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate, his symptoms went away.

I believe his turnaround took place because he chose upright position for himself, and he has been blessed.

“Is a Death Sentence Enough for Jiang's Crimes?”

I went to the market on November 2, 2015, to talk to fellow villagers about Falun Gong.

I started to explain the persecution to an 81-year-old man. At the beginning, the man repeated the lies and slander about Falun Gong he had seen on television programs. I asked him if he truly believed the television reports and what the CCP says. He answered, “The Communist Party does nothing but bad deeds.”

I mentioned that the Communist Party has launched so many political movements to persecute good people, such as the Cultural Revolution and the Tiananmen Massacre. This man had experienced all of them.

“Now, Jiang Zemin is persecuting Falun Gong and has harvested organs from living practitioners for profit. He does this through corrupt officials he appoints, who are just like him, leading fast lives and suppressing civilians,” I said.

I continued, “Falun Gong is the Buddha law that teaches people the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and to be good, and it is practiced in over one hundred countries. Good will be rewarded with good and evil people will receive the same amount of the evil they committed.”

I then said that nearly 200,000 people have sued Jiang Zemin. He has killed so many Falun Gong practitioners, and he must receive punishment.

The man said, “Well, how many lives does he owe others? He will be let off lightly if he is sentenced to death!”

Sister-in-Law Rebukes Police

After learning the truth behind the persecution of Falun Gong, my husband's sister became a Falun Gong practitioner last year. Her mother-in-law practices Falun Gong also.

Failing to find her mother-in-law during one of their police investigations, a few officers from the county police department went to my sister-in-law's home in mid-October. They demanded to be let in because they wanted to talk to her.

My sister-in-law told them that she was alone at home. She wanted to know what they were up to. She said that they did not need to enter and could tell her whatever they had to say through the doorway.

They asked her to persuade her mother-in-law not to sue Jiang Zemin.

“Do you think that I am able to control her? My mother-in-law herself decides what to do,” she answered.

They asked her for the mobile phone number of my husband’s brother, but she refused to give it to them.

More and more people gathered at the door, and one of the officers said, “You see, so many people are watching, don’t you feel ashamed?”

“Yes, so many people are watching,” she said. “It is you who are losing face, and they are looking at you. We haven’t committed any bad deeds. If you had not come, would people be gathering and looking at us?”

The officers left in disgrace.

A villager said, “These people really have nothing else to do but to harass practitioners.”

The majority of people have heard the facts about Falun Gong and no longer believe what the CCP says.
