(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, at least 22 were illegally arrested, 1 was arrested for filing a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin, 1 is monitored through an inmate locator, and the whereabouts of 1 is unknown.

1. [Shanghai] Inmate Locator put on Mr. Lu Airong's Foot

Mr. Lu Airong, 50, was arrested in late 2014 for using paper currency with information about the persecution of Falun Gong written on it. He was sentenced to three years in prison. He was released on medical parole because of high blood pressure.

An inmate locator was placed on his foot. He is harassed and monitored by officers from the Pudongxin District Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office.

Mr. Lu was taken to Chuansha People's Hospital for emergency treatment on September 17, 2015.

2. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Lin Sentenced

Ms. Sun Lin was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term in mid-August 2015. She filed an appeal.

3. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Mou Zhiying's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Mou Zhiying was arrested by officers from the Fanjianglu Police Station and the Jinyang Community Office on September 21, 2015. Police ransacked her home and confiscated a box of Minghui Weekly. Ms. Mou's whereabouts is unknown.

4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Shifang, Ms. Wang Shihua, Ms. Cui Aixiu, Ms. Shen Qiufang, and Mr. Ju Baogui were arrested by officers from the Baichehe Police Station on September 15, 2015. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, and paper currencies having information about Falun Gong on them.

Ms. Wang Shihua and Ms. Shen were released that night. Ms. Wang Shifang was released the next day. Ms. Ju and Ms. Cui were taken to a detention center.

5. [Xiao County, Anhui Province] Ms. Wen Liying Detained

Ms. Wen Liying was arrested by officers from the Xiao County 610 Office and the Xinzhuang Town Police Department on September 20, 2015. She is detained in the Xiao County Detention Center.

6. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xue Yuying Detained

Ms. Xue Yuying was arrested by officers from the Baoshan Town Police Station on August 23, 2015. She was taken to the Huangdao District Domestic Security Division for 15 days. She was transferred to the Pudong Detention Center on August 28. She is still detained at that detention center.

7. [Ningxiang County, Hunan Province] Ms. Fang Aikui and Ms. Ye Haihua Detained

Ms. Fang Aikui and Ms. Ye Haihua were arrested by officers from the Zhuliangqiao Police Station on September 18, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are detained in the Ningxiang County Detention Center.

8. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Hongfang Arrested

Ms. Liu Hongfang, 74, was arrested and taken to the Changjianglu Police Station by plainclothes officers and security officers on September 15, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was released on bail that evening.

9. [Chongqing] Ms. Gao Jianhua Arrested

Ms. Gao Jianhua was arrested by officers from the Chongqing Domestic Security Division on September 21, 2015. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, computers, cell phones, and other personal items. She was taken to a police station and released that day.

Mr. Zhang Hanshun was arrested by officers from the local police station in Dongjingcheng Town on September 22, 2015. She was detained in that local police station for seven days.

Ms. Guo Xiuli was arrested at her workplace by officers from the Jilin City Police Station on June 17, 2015. She was detained at the Lantian Detention Center for 15 days and guards extorted 2,000 yuan before she was released.

12. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Tang Juzhang Detained

Ms. Tang Juzhang was arrested by officers, including captain Song Daige, from the Shushan District Domestic Security Division and the Xiyuan Police Station on September 21, 2015. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, computers, cell phones, tablet computers, and other personal items. She was taken to the Xiyuan Police Station and released that day.

13. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Huijuan Detained for Filing a Criminal Complaint Against Jiang Zemin

Ms. Wu Huijuan was arrested by plainclothes officers on July 20, 2015, for filing a criminal complaint against the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin with the Supreme People's Procuratorate in Beijing. She was detained for seven days and then taken back to Shenyang by officers from the Huangcheng Police Station.

Ms. Zhu Sufen, Ms. Chen Xiue, and other practitioners were arrested and taken to the Xishangebinguan Brainwashing Center in Zhangshui Town on September 7, 2015.

15. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yu Yanling Arrested

Ms. Yu Yanling was arrested on September 21, 2015, and released that evening. She was arrested again and taken to the Yongfeng Police Station the next morning.

16. [Jingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Qi Yingwang Arrested

Ms. Qi Yingwang was arrested by deputy director Kong Yuanyuan and officers from the Wujiayao Town Police Station on September 10, 2015. The police ransacked her home. Ms. Qi was taken to that police station and released that afternoon.

17. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Jiang Yunjing Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Jiang Yunjing, sentenced to a 12-year prison term, was imprisoned at Mudanjiang Prison. He was taken to the Hegang Brainwashing Center in early September 2015.

Mr. Yang Hong and his wife Jiang Yahui from Nankai District were arrested on March 2, 2015. They were taken to the Nankai Police Department Detention Center.
