(Minghui.org) After the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published, I began telling my family and friends about Falun Gong and the persecution, and encouraged them to withdraw their membership in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates. I also started clarifying the facts to people in the village where my parents and in-laws live.
I have been doing this since 2006,, and I would like to share some of my experiences.
My Family Supports Me
I have been living with my son and his family for more than ten years now. My daughter-in-law has read Zhuan Falun several times and completely supports me in my practice. I am nearly 70 years old and yet she says that I look like a young man. My son teases me that I am busier than a government official. I told him it was true, but I am doing the most sacred things, whereas they are busy making a living.
My grandson also knows that Falun Gong is good. One day his teacher was giving a class on politics and told the class not to listen to Falun Gong teachings. My grandson stood up and asked the teacher, “Can you please tell us why the Falun Gong principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are not good?” Several other students asked the teacher the same thing. The teacher had no answer and left the classroom. When he returned, he changed the subject.
My daughter-in-law and grandson have not yet begun to practice, but they have helped several people quit the CCP.
I used to have a bad temper and often argued with others. Now I know those conflicts were opportunities for me to improve my xinxing. I study the Fa and do the three things to save people. Typically, I go out to tell people the facts about Falun Gong every other day.
Not Letting the Snow Stop Me
I went out on my bicycle on a snowy day and saw a lady who reminded me to be careful on the slippery road. I thanked her and spoke to her. I told her that she looked content. She smiled and said she was very proud of her son who was a student in a Beijing university.
I told her about Falun Gong and the persecution and asked her to remember, “Falun Gong is good.” After she found out that I was a practitioner, she said she read a Falun Gong brochure and knew about the movement to quit the Party. Her son told her about the large rock in Guizhou Province inscribed with the Chinese characters for “The Chinese Communist Party will perish.” He said that if she met a Falun Gong practitioner, she should ask them to help her and her family quit the CCP. She asked me, “Will you help us quit?”
An Elderly Man Knows Falun Dafa Is a Righteous Way
I came across an elderly man one day and told him that many people were quitting the CCP. He asked me if I was a Falun Gong practitioner. He said that the Party didn't allow people to practice and whoever practiced would be put in prison. He wondered if I had ever been in prison.
I told him that the Party didn't allow people to be good and that the Party violated a heavenly principle when it imprisons good people, so Heaven will eliminate it.
He said, “Falun Gong and your Master are marvelous. Falun Gong is a righteous Fa and will surely be successful. Please help me withdraw from the CCP.”
Given Apples as a Thank You
I met a street vendor selling apples and helped him quit the CCP. The next time I walked down that street, I didn't stop at his stall, but he called me over. He gave me two large apples. He said that he wanted more Falun Gong DVDs, because his brother-in-law had taken the ones I gave him previously. The DVDs helped to convince his brother-in-law that Falun Gong is good, and now he was asking if I could help his brother-in-law and family quit the CCP.
DVDs Help to Clarify the Facts
When I was talking to a stall owner about Falun Gong one time, a lady nearby listened attentively. She called me aside and said, “A Falun Gong practitioner recently gave me some materials and DVDs. We watched the DVDs on my father's birthday and learned the truth about the practice. My father, sisters, and brothers asked me to look for this practitioner to help them withdraw from the CCP. Can you please give me more DVDs and help the six of us withdraw?”
I agreed to help her and told her that they would be blessed.
People Quit the CCP after Learning the Facts
A once man told me that the CCP members in his village were told to pay their Party membership fees, and that, if they didn’t, they would automatically no longer be a member. Two retired men willingly withdrew their membership and wrote “I quit my CCP membership” on a piece of paper. Then a dozen others did the same.
I explained to the man why people had to withdraw from the CCP. I said, “The CCP is responsible for the deaths of 80 million Chinese since it came to power. They now harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners to make huge profits. They persecute good people. Heaven will not allow it and will soon eliminate it. So it is best if you to quit the CCP in order to keep safe.”
He agreed to quit. Some people nearby were listening and agreed to quit the CCP. They also asked for Falun Gong informational materials.
Saving Police Officers
A fellow practitioner and I went to a market in 2011 to let people about Falun Gong and the persecution. Dozens withdrew from the CCP after we spoke to them. We went there on another occasion and gave out many DVDs. We gave the last two to a lady and two men and told them that they were very fortunate to get them. They came back shortly and said, “We are police officers. Come with us.”
I didn't want anyone to panic, so I quietly followed them to their car. I thought to myself that the police are also beings to be saved. I clarified the facts to them all the way to the police station. They asked me why we kept giving out Falun Gong materials. I told them that our Master said:
“We ask for nothing in return and have no pursuitIt's to save you once the disaster arrives”(“Calmly Take a Look” from Hong Yin III)
I told them that Jiang Zemin's gang is responsible for harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and that those who participate in the persecution would be held responsible in the future, because it is a heavenly principle that good will be rewarded and evil be punished.
One of the policemen asked me if he had committed a crime by arresting me. I said that he would not have persecuted Falun Gong practitioners if he had known the truth. I encouraged him to withdraw from the CCP and he agreed. At the police station, I helped three other policemen quit the CCP and its affiliates.
The head of the local domestic security division came and shouted at me, “How come you are still alive? Don't you have high blood pressure?”
I said, “Our master cherishes us very much. We are still here because we want to save people.”
I had to go with him in his car. A short time later he stopped the car and said, “You can go now. Be careful when you get out.” I wished him a good future and told him that he could quit the CCP on the Tuidang website.
I used to get angry and upset when people cursed and spat at me when I clarified the facts to them. Through Fa study, I realized that those people are to be pitied and I had sympathy for them. They had missed a rare opportunity to listen to the truth and be saved.
