(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 7 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 12 practitioners were illegally arrested .

1. [Beijing] Ms. Jiang Changfeng Subjected to Forced Labor at the End of Her 10-Year Illegal Imprisonment
Ms. Jiang Changfeng, in her 80s, was sentenced to ten years in prison in 2001. She was held in Beijing Women's Prison. Her health seriously deteriorated due to the long-term forced labor. The jail term should have ended on December 24, 2011. However, in November 2011, Ms. Jiang was taken to the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp for two and a half more years.
2. [Pingding County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Qiaolan Detained
Ms. Wang Qiaolan was arrested by police officers on November 2012. She was tried in court in March 2013. The second trial was held on July 29. The judge was speechless before the defense presented by Ms. Wang and her lawyer, but refused to release her. Ms. Wang is still being held in the detention center.
3. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xu Qiang Missing for 13 Years Mr. Xu Qiang disappeared in Beijing in June 2000. He was 26 years old at the time of his disappearance. He has been missing for thirteen years.
4. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Dong Chunhua Detained in Brainwashing Center
Ms. Dong Chunhua was arrested by officers from the Laizhou City Domestic Security Division and taken to Dianzi Brainwashing Center on the morning of October 21, 2013.
5. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tian Yulan Detained
When she delivered informational materials about Falun Gong on October 12, 2013, Ms. Tian Yulan from Shidong Town was arrested by officers from the Dongchan Town Police Station. She was detained in Beigu Shelter.
6. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Detained
Officers from the 610 Office of Weifang City and the Sanniangmiao Village Committee broke into Mr. Chen Shiguang’s home and arrested him on the morning of October 11, 2013. These people proceeded to break into other practitioners’ homes and arrested Mr. Tan Zhengzhi and Ms. Zhang. The three practitioners were taken to Kuiwen District Party School. They are still being held there.
7. [Chongqing] Mr. Yang Xiaoliang Arrested
While he was handing out Falun Dafa symbols to people on the morning of October 21, 2013, Mr. Yang Xiaoliang was arrested by officers from the Heyang Police Station.
8. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wang Jianying Detained
Ms. Wang Jianying, a retiree from South China University of Technology, was arrested by officers from the Wushan Police Station. Now she is being held in Tianhe Detention Center.
9. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Lin Zezhi Detained
Ms. Lin Zezhi who works in the Huangzhou District Finance Bureau was arrested by officers from Huangzhou District Domestic Security Division a few days ago, when she spoke to people about Falun Gong. She is being held in a detention center outside of Huanggang City.
10. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners on Trial
The Guanghan Court held a trial against Ms. Yang Hualian, Ms. Liao Xiaolan, and Mr. Huang Dingchen on October 22, 2013. Ms. Yang Hualian has returned home, Mr. Huang and Ms. Liao were sent back to the detention center.
11. [Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province] Ms. Dai Maixiang Arrested
Ms. Dai Maixiang and her family live in Xishuangbanna for business. She was filmed by a street camera when she wrote truth-clarification messages. She was arrested by a security guard named Chen from the Menghai Domestic Security Division on the morning of October 15, 2013.

12. [Suixi County, Guangdong Province] Ms. Qi Liming Arrested Again
After escaping from the Zhanjiang City Brainwashing Center in 2012, Ms. Qi Lining was arrested again in early October this year at her home. Her whereabouts are still unknown.

13. [Changji City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Gong Xiaojuan Detained
Ms. Gong Xiaojuan of Changji College was arrested by officers from the 610 Office of Changji City on April 11, 2013. She is being held in the Changji City Detention Center.
14. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Ms. Fu Zhuanying Sent to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Fu Zhuanying (in her 60’s) was arrested by officers from the Yuehu Domestic Security Division at noon on October 21, 2013, and was taken to a brainwashing center located in the First Guesthouse of Jingmen Petrochemical, Inc. She was held there until 5:00 p.m.

15. [Chibi City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Dongyuan Sent to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Li Dongyuan was arrested by Wang Huichun, an officer from the Chibi City 610 Office, on the morning of October 16, 2013. She was then sent to a brainwashing center in Wuhan City.
