(Minghui.org) Today's news from mainland China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 5 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 7 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. She Yue Sent to Hospital Due to Severe Mistreatment in Detention
Mr. She Yue was put on trial on June 21, 2013, and afterwards he was again sent to Dalian City's No. 201 Hospital. He has become emaciated as a result of mistreatment in detention.
2. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Mingzhang Sent to Brainwashing Center
Mr. Liu Mingzhang was arrested by officers from the Mishan Political and Legal Affairs Committee and the 610 Office on the afternoon of June 26, 2013. They took him to the Mishan Brainwashing Center.
3. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lu Aizhi Sent to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Lu Aizhi from Youjia Village, Zhuqiao Town was arrested on June 27, 2013 and then sent to the Dianzi Brainwashing Center.
4. [Lixin County, Anhui Province] Ms. Pang Suping Detained
Ms. Pang Suping was arrested on the afternoon of June 28, 2013 as she spoke with people about Falun Gong on the street. She is currently being held in the Lixin County Detention Center.
5. [Bazhong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Deng Banggui Arrested
Ms. Deng Banggui, in her 60s, lives in the Bazhou District. Officers from the Bazhou District Domestic Security Division and local police including Fu Kezhou broke into Ms. Deng's home and ransacked it on the morning of June 25, 2013. They took Ms. Deng to the Bazhou District Detention Center and release her the next day.
6. [Wulumuqi City, Xijiang Autonomous Region] Mr. Liu Zhongxiang Arrested
Mr. Liu Zhongxiang, in his 60s, lives in Liyushan Road. He was arrested on June 28, 2013 and his whereabouts are unknown.
7. [Qujing City, Yunan Province] Ms. Yang Lianfeng Detained
Ms. Yang Lianfeng was arrested on the morning of May 23, 2013 as she distributed informational materials about Falun Gong. Officer Song Guojian and others from the Qilin District Domestic Security Division proceeded to ransack Ms. Yang's home. Ms. Yang was held in the Wangjiashan Drug Rehabilitation Center for two weeks before she was released on June 9.
8. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Cao Yawen and Mr. Zhang Liexiang Held in Brainwashing Center
Guiyang County 610 Office head Hu Yunguo and others broke into Mr. Cao Yawen's store on the morning of June 26, 2013. They took Mr. Cao directly to the Beihu District Party School Brainwashing Center. Mr. Zhang Liexiang is also being held there.
9. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Yang Jun Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Yang Jun from Jianping County, Liaoning Province was sentenced to three and a half years in prison at the Aohan League Court in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia.
10. [Guang'an, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Xiaojing Secretly Sentenced to Prison
Huaying City Court officials secretly sentenced Ms. Wang Xiaojing to three and a half years in prison on June 23, 2013. She is currently held in Ziyang Prison.
11. [Beijing] Ms. Gao Huiyun Died as a Result of Persecution
Ms. Gao Huiyun and her older sister Ms. Gao Huirong were arrested in 2008 by officers from the Chongwen District Police Station. They were sent to the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Gao developed symptoms of severe illness, and was released on medical parole. As a result of the abuse she suffered, she was paralyzed and bed-ridden. She passed away in October 2011.
