He was very happy about this unexpected good fortune.

During the New Year holiday, another miraculous change occurred in his work situation. His previous employer hired him back at a salary over twice of what he had made in his old position. Now his work is close to his home and fits his specialty interests. He is very good at his job and handles it with ease.

Prior to his moving to his new position, I met with him and we chatted about his sudden great fortune.
