(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Liu Rangfang and Ms. Liu Rangying are sisters and Falun Gong practitioners from the No. 852 Farm in Baoqing County, Heilongjiang Province. Both of them have been persecuted for their belief by the Chinese Communist Party.

On October 8, 2011, Ms. Liu Rangfang went to the No. 852 Farm Center Square to set off fireworks and clarify the facts about Falun Gong to people. The square's administrator reported her to the police, and officers from the local police station illegally arrested her. At 4 p.m. the same day, she was released. At 9 p.m., police officers tricked Ms. Liu's brother (a non-practitioner) into opening the door for them. They stormed in and ransacked the house, where both sisters lived. They confiscated all of the Falun Gong books and materials, including informational brochures, Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs, copies of Minghui Weekly and other items from Ms. Liu's bedroom. They also destroyed posters hanging on the walls. The next day, when Ms. Liu went on business to Baoqing, she was arrested by police from the farm and Baoqing County, and taken to the Hongxinglong Detention Center.

At 5 p.m. on October 13, 2011, officers from the No. 852 Farm Police Department ransacked Ms. Liu's house again and took away the television, VCD player, notebook computer, satellite dish, and truth-clarification bills (currency with messages clarifying the facts about Falun Gong written on them). The perpetrators who participated in ransacking the house included a male police officer with curly hair, a police officer with the surname Zang, a political instructor with surname Dong, security officer Wang Shuang, and police station head Lu Jiang.

Ms. Liu's sister, Ms. Liu Rangying, went to the Political and Judiciary Committee to request her sister's release. However, officials there pretended that they did not know about the case. Ms. Liu Rangying then went to the police station and asked Lu Jiang to release her sister. Lu did not tell her where her sister was and only said, “Your sister will be sentenced heavily.”

Later, Ms. Liu Rangying heard from an official that her sister was being held in a detention center and that she went on hunger strike for nine days and passed out. Ms. Liu Rangying worried about her sister's situation and went to the detention center to visit her. However, on the way there, she was stopped by police and taken back home. After that, she was followed and monitored 24 hours a day. At night, four men were stationed outside her house to monitor her; they included Zhao, Niu, Yu Wen, and a driver. During the day, Guo Yong and Qu Meng (a couple) watched her.

Subsequently, Ms. Liu Rangfang was sentenced to five years of imprisonment. Her sister Ms. Liu Rangying was sent to Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center in Jiansanjiang for two months, where she was brutally tortured.
