(Minghui.org) Mr. Wang Yafu, a 59-year-old villager from Huangtun Village in Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province, had his numerous health ailments cured after only six months of starting his Falun Gong practice in 1996. His numerous conditions, including heart disease,

hepatitis and arthritis disappeared without a trace. The past 13 years, however, saw him illegally arrested eight times, incarcerated at a detention center three times, sentenced to forced labor three times and have his home ransacked nine times. He was also forced to go through brainwashing the last time he was arrested in 2009.

In October, 1999, head Ma Yingkui and deputy head Dai Xiquan, from Xiajiabao Town Police Station, arrested Mr. Wang and kept him at the police station for five days before transferring him to Dashagou Detention Center, where he was subsequently incarcerated for 11 months. During the Chinese New Year holiday in 2000, head Zhang and guard Zhao Lihua ordered Jing Yuanming, and two other criminal detainees to pour ten buckets of ice water over Mr. Wang’s head, despite the fact it was deep into winter. Jing Yuanming also slapped Mr. Wang on the face with the sole of his shoes. When spring came, Mr. Wang was forced to sift through sand and plow the fields. During the summer that year, the detention center sent him to Wujiabao Labor Camp in Fushun City to be reformed for more than 50 days. In their attempts to make Mr. Wang give up his cultivation practice, the labor camp guards subjected him to various kinds of torture, including forcing him to stand against a wall for long periods of time. After he was returned to the detention center, he was incarcerated for additional time. The guards extorted 1,400 yuan from his family before finally releasing him in September 2000.

Upon returning home, Mr. Wang stopped cultivating for a period of time, during which his health deteriorated and he often lapsed into unconsciousness. He was diagnosed with cerebral tuberculosis. The doctors told his family to prepare for the worst, as there appeared to be no hope for his recovery.

Mr. Wang decided to start practicing Dafa again and miraculously recovered not long afterwards. Upon seeing that Mr. Wang was determined to cultivate again, the Xiajiabao Town Police Station started harassing him and ransacked his home numerous times.

In June 2003, deputy head Dai Xiquan led three officers, including Li Changan, to break into Mr. Wang’s home and confiscate personal property worth more than 1,000 yuan. Later head Xiao Chengwei lured Mr. Wang into coming to the police station, only to have him abducted and immediately taken to the hospital. They plotted to send him to a labor camp, but had to get a medical clearance. There happened to be a power outage at the hospital that day, so the police’s attempt failed.

On January 14, 2004, deputy head Dai Xiquan and four officers, including Jing Xizhong and Pan Zhenfeng, went to harass Mr. Wang again. He refused to open the door, so one of the officers pried it open. As soon as they broke in, they forcibly carried him out and drove him straight to Wujiabao Labor Camp where he was sentenced to a three-year forced labor term. The labor camp, however, refused to accept him because of his health condition. The police had no choice but take him back to the police department. The next morning head Xiao Chengwei reluctantly released him after failing to extort money from his relatives.

In August 2005, deputy head Sun Xueming, and four police officers, including Li Changan and Jing Xizhong, ransacked Mr. Wang’s home, but were unable to find anything they deemed of value.

Mr. Wang was riding his bike in November, 2005, when he was stopped by officer Jing Xizhong and Yan Yao, a Xiajiabao, a Town Government employee. They confiscated his truth-clarification materials and took him to the police station. When he refused to reveal the source of his materials, head Yang Jianyu slapped him on the face a few times. Three officers later took him to Qingyuan County Police Department, where he was forced to sit upright on a long bench with his legs tied to the bench and his arms tied behind his back for an evening. Three agents, including Wang Xingchuan from Qingyuan Domestic Security Office, then tortured him into the morning hours. They first covered his face with a towel and poured alcohol onto it. The liquor kept dripping into his mouth and nostrils through the towel. They next lit two cigarettes and inserted them into his nostrils. When the cigarettes burned down, they repeated the whole process. That night they used about 4 pounds of liquor and lit four packs of cigarettes. As a result, Mr. Wang was in critical condition, but they proceeded to send him to Dashagou Detention Center the next day. His family had to pay Qingyuan County Police Department 3,300 yuan before getting him released 15 days later.

On April 6, 2007, Mr. Wang was arrested again by agents from Xiajiabao Town Police Station and subjected him with two years of forced labor. He was jailed at Wujiabao Forced Labor Camp for five months before being released upon paying an extortion of 3,300 yuan.

Mr. Wang was talking to a man about the facts of Falun Gong at Tianqiao Village in April, 2008, when he was arrested again by Officers Lv Xuewei and Yang Jianyu.

After spotting truth-clarification messages pasted on the walls on June 5, 2009, the police immediately went to Mr. Wang’s home. Four police officers, including Lv Xuewei and Yang Jianyu, took him to Dashagou Detention Center where he was held for 15 days. Though the police sentenced him to two years of forced labor, Masanjia Labor Camp refused to accept Mr. Wang because he failed to pass the medical examination. His family had to pay Qingyuan County Police Department 1,000 yuan and Xiajiabao Town Police Station 600 yuan before securing his release.

On November 29, 2009, officers Lv Xuewei and Pan Xuemin abducted Mr. Wang one more time. While in the police vehicle, Lv knocked him down and sat on him all the way to the police department. They turned him over to agents from Qingyuan County 610 Office, who in turn sent him to Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center in Fushun. He was released 35 days later.
