(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in ten provinces. In this report, 12 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 16 practitioners were illegally arrested

1. [Heishan, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yahui Detained in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp

2. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Cuixiang Arrested

Officers from the Fengnan District Domestic Security Team and the Huanggezhuang Police Station arrested Ms. Wang Cuixiang, from Wangjiapanzi Village, at noon on July 22, 2011.

3. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhang Yougao Arrested on the Evening of July 20, 2011 and Detained in the Geleshan Brainwashing Center

4. [Nanchang, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Yan Jinhua Arrested

Ms. Yan Jinhua went to the Jiangxi Women's Prison to send righteous thoughts on April 18, 2011. She was arrested by police, taken to the prison, and then transferred to the Xinjian County Detention Center. Her family has not seen her since.

5. [Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Guan Yuqin Mistreated in the Heilongjiang Women's Prison

The guards in the Heilongjiang Women's Prison have instigated criminal prisoners to monitor Ms. Guan Yuqin and deprived her of sleep. Ms. Guan was forced to sit on a stool every day for three years. The guards also forced her to watch video programs defaming Falun Gong. Her family was not allowed to visit her.

6. [Nanyang, Henan Province] Ms. Zhao Sibin Arrested

On the afternoon of July 21, 2011, Mr. Zhao Sibin from Houji Town, Zhenping County, was arrested by Wang Feng, director of the Zhenping 610 Office, Shi Yanjun, Wang Shaowu, and other officers.

7. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Defu Arrested

Nine officers from the Liuzuo Township Police Station and the Dingxing Domestic Security Team, forcibly took Mr. Wang Defu to the Xiaocun Brainwashing Center on the afternoon of July 22, 2011. His whereabouts are currently unknown.

8. [Chongqing] Mr. Chen Shanquan Taken to the Brainwashing Center

Ms. Li Yongfang works at the Baodi Technology Corp. in Chongqing. Officers from the Shuitu Town 610 Office and the Shuitu Town Police Station in Beipei District, Chongqing, arrested her and sent her to the brainwashing center at the Beipei Party School. Ms. Li was released on July 9, 2011.

On July 16, 2011, the police arrested Ms. Li's husband Chen Shanquan and sent him to the same brainwashing center.

9. [Dujiangyan, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yue Shujun Taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center

He Zhongliang and other personnel from the Cuiyuehu Town Comprehensive Administration Office of Dujiangyan, broke into Mr. Yue Shujun's home on July 18, 2011. Mr. Yue was taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center.

10. [Hebei Province] Ms. Li Yaping Persecuted at the Hebei Women's Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Li Yaping is being detained in the Hebei Women's Forced Labor Camp. This past spring, guards Ren Shili and Chen Yonghong slapped her in the face with shoes and stripped her of her clothes because she refused to wear a prison uniform.

11. [Beijing] Additional Information about Ms. Zhang Limin's Recent Arrest

Ms. Zhang Limin was arrested at the morning market in Chedaogou, Wanshou Temple, Haidian District, by officers from the Wanshou Temple Police Station on the morning of July 1, 2011. She is being detained in the Haidian Detention Center.

Ms. Fan Guiying, 59, was taken to a brainwashing center while selling goods at her booth in the Dongliang Mall on the morning of July 20, 2011.

14. [Baoji, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Fan Weili Tortured in the Linchang Brainwashing Center

Ms. Fan Weili lives in Li Village, Chengguang Town, Fengxiang County. On around May 6, 2011, personnel from the Chengguang Comprehensive Administration Office, the Baoji 610 Office, and the Jingerlu Police Station, took Ms. Fan Weili away and sent her to the Linchang Brainwashing Center, where she has since been detained.

In the brainwashing center, Ms. Fan was forced to read books and watch videos defaming Falun Dafa. She was beaten because she did not cooperate. Ms. Fan was monitored around the clock and forced to write a so-called “transformation” statement. Her face was often swollen due to torture, and she became very thin.

15. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhang Fuming Arrested

Qiu Chunfei from the Jiangjin District 610 Office, Liu Gao, deputy mayor of Shimen Town, along with other personnel, waited in a residential building near the Jijiang Farmers Market for several hours at noon time on July 21, 2011, and arrested Mr. Zhang Fuming.

16. [Hunan Province] Ms. Zhang Hejun, Ms. Yu Zhenyu, and Other Practitioners Persecuted at Hunan Women's Prison

Ms. Zhang Hejun and Ms. Yu Zhenyu were arrested in April 2008. Both were heavily sentenced to 12 years in prison. During the detention in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, Ms. Zhang was force-fed with chili pepper. Her fingers were burned and her arms and legs were stretched in different directions. Her foot was broken during the torture.

Ms. Zhang and Ms. Yu were tortured in the Hunan Women's Prison. They were forced to do slave labor for more than 12 hours every day. During this time, a tumor developed on Ms. Yu's neck. Her family spent several thousand yuan having her treated.

Ms. Li Zungui and Ms. Feng Hailing are also being persecuted in the prison. Both were sentenced to ten years in prison.

17. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhang Lijuan Arrested

Ms. Zhang Lijuan, from the Jiuting Area, Songjiang District, was reported to police while talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of July 25, 2011. The local guards forcibly searched her bag and confiscated Shen Yun DVDs and Falun Gong materials. Ms. Zhang was taken to the Jiuting Police Station.

18. [Shanghai] Ms. Lu Fengying Arrested

Ms. Lu Fengying, 65, lives in Jiangwan Town, Hongkou District. About ten policemen from Baoshan District broke into her home and confiscated her computer, Dafa books, and other belongings. Ms. Lu is being held at the Baoshan Detention Center.

19. [Hengshui, Hebei Province] Ms. Cheng Qiaoran and Ms. Xiao Min Persecuted

Ms. Cheng Qiaoran and Ms. Xiao Min from Anping County, Hengshui were arrested on the afternoon of June 28, 2011. Ms. Cheng is being detained at the Hengshui Detention Center and Ms. Xiao Min is at the Hengshui Brainwashing Center.

20. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Ms. Ma Qiongfang Arrested

A group of people of unknown identification went to Ms. Ma Qiongfang's home on the afternoon of July 25, 2011 and ransacked it. Mr. Ma was taken away and her whereabouts are unknown.

21. [Gaotang, Shandong Province] Ms. Xiao Li Taken Away from Her Clothing Store Around July 20, 2011

22. [Foshan, Guangdong Province] Mr. Dai Xianxi Taken to the Shanshui Forced Labor Camp in Foshan for a One-year Term

23. [Chenzhou, Hunan Province] Mr. Wang Wulian Detained for 15 Days

Mr. Wang Wulian, who is in his thirties, works in the Jiedong Coal Mine of Chenzhou. He was taken away by officers from the Beihu District Domestic Security Team on July 22, 2011. He is being detained in the Chenzhou Detention Center.
