(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 26 cities or counties in 12 provinces. In this report, 15 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 34 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Baoji City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Luo Yanting Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Luo Yanting, a former employee of the Baoji Post and Telecommunication Bureau, was arrested by officers from the Dongfeng Road Police Station in Baoji on July 10, 2011. He is currently being held at the Panjiawan Brainwashing Center.

2. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yin Liying and Ms. Li Xueqin Arrested

Ms. Yin Liying and Ms. Li Xueqin were arrested while speaking with people about Falun Gong on the morning of July 21, 2011.

3. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Huang Jiwen Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Huang Jiwen, who lives in Pengzhuang Village, Beiwang Town, Langfang City, was arrested at home by officers from the Beiwang 610 Office at noon on July 8, 2011. She was taken to the Langfang Brainwashing Center.

In the early morning of July 21, 2011, officers from the Ningjin 610 Office and Sizhilan Town 610 Office arrested Ms. Cao Jingmiao at her home in Nanqizhuang Village. They then took her to the Xingtai Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Wang Jiangbin, 60, was sent to the Second Ward of Hohhot Women's Forced Labor Camp. The guards forced her to stand for long periods of time, and did not allow her to drink anything. They shocked her with electric batons.

Mr. Yuan Zhongxiang, who lives in the Wujia Village, Xiaertai Town, was arrested by three officers from the Xiaertai Town Police Station on the evening of July 19, 2011. He was released the next afternoon.

17. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Aiguo and Another Practitioner Arrested

Mr. Wang Aiguo and another practitioner were reported and arrested for giving out pamphlets about Falun Gong on the evening of July 20, 2011. Mr. Wang was transferred from the Criminal Police Team to the detention center. The police also confiscated two Falun Dafa books.

Ms. Wang Jixiu and Ms. Zhang Mingxia were arrested on the No. 5 Road in the Mengyin County Industrial Zone on the afternoon of July 20, 2011. The police confiscated Dafa books and a private car from Ms. Zhang's home. Ms. Zhang was abused in detention and is currently in critical condition. That afternoon, the police also broke into and ransacked Ms. Dong Yanwen's home. Ms. Wu and Ms. Dong were later taken to the Lilao Town Police Station.

24. [Xinle County, Hebei Province] Ms. Du Suqiao Taken to Brainwashing Center

Officers from the Xinle County 610 Office arrested Ms. Du Suqiao at her home and took her to the Shijiazhuang City Brainwashing Center on the morning of July 19, 2011.

25. [Tianjin] Mr. Wang Baodong Still Imprisoned

Mr. Wang Baodong is from Huotun Village, Damengzhuang Town, Wuqing District. On December 31, 2000, Ding Lianhe and several officers from Damengzhuang Police Station took him to the the police station. Liu Weimin, director of the police station, handcuffed him to a radiator for a day. Ding Lianhe then took Mr. Wang's coat off and handcuffed him in a bicycle park in the midst winter. Mr. Wang was later taken to the Wuqing Detention Center. He was then sentenced to seven years in prison and has been imprisoned in Gangbei Prison.

26. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Additional Information about the Arrests of Five Practitioners

Five Practitioners were arrested at their homes on July 14, 2011. Ms. Hu Keying is being held at the Xihua County Detention Center. Ms. Wang Xuerong, Ms. He Chen and Ms. Gao Ming are being held at the Zhoukou City Detention Center. Another practitioner's name is unknown.
