On the afternoon of June 10, 2011, Ms. Liu Wei was out buying stationary for her daughter. At the North Xi'an Road, Chengdu City, she was arrested by officers from the Xi'an Road Police Station, Jinniu District, Chengdu City and Meishan City Police Department. Her car was seized and her rented home was ransacked. She is now being held at the Meishan City Detention Center.

2. [Sichuan Province] More Information about Ms. Ma Birong and Ms. Li Chaozhen

On February 20, 2007, when Ms. Ma Birong and Ms. Li Chaozhen went to Luba Village to distribute truth clarifying materials in the Wuhou District of Chengdu City, they were reported by officers from the Public Security Division and were arrested by officers from the Jinhua Police Station. At midnight, they were taken to the Jinhua Brainwashing Center in Wuhou District.

On June 3, 2008, Ms. Ma and Ms. Li were sentenced to four years in prison. They were being held at the Sichuan Province Women's Prison. On November 4, 2011, Ms. Ma's term expired and she was released.

3. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Hu Meizhen Arrested

On June 8, 2011, Ms. Hu Meizhen, in her 60's, from Xiaowan Village, Chaqi Township, Huarong County, Yueyang City, Hunan Province, was arrested by officers from the Huarong County Political and Judiciary Committee and the 610 Office. She is detained at the Hubin Detention Center, Yueyang City.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] More Information about Ms. Zhang Yumei

Ms. Zhang Yumei was held at the No. 3 Ward, Wuhan City Women's Prison. Each day she worked over 10 hours. The guards also tried to “transform” her. At night she was sleep deprived by the guards as they tried to force her to give up her faith.

6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] More Information about the Arrest of Ms. Zhang Fenglan

On June 9, 2011, Ms. Zhang Fenglan was arrested by police officer Si Guozhen and taken to the Malu Police Station. Her home was ransacked. At night she was taken to the Tangshan City Detention Center and held there for 15 days.

9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] More Information about Ms. Qiu Tieyan's Arrest

At 8:00 p.m. on June 7, 2011, after Ms. Qiu Tieyan, a practitioner from Hushitai Town, Shenbeixin District was arrested, police officers in plainclothes went to her home at 9:30 p.m. and ransacked it. They took away her main computer and Dafa books. Her whereabouts are unknown.

On the morning of May 27, 2011, Ms. Liu Jiaqin, near 70 years old, was arrested when she was informing people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Jiangjin. Police officers went to her home and ransacked it, taking away Dafa books and truth clarifying materials. She is being held at the Langshan Detention Center, Jiangjin District.

On June 9, 2011, three practitioners in Xi'an City, Ms. Wen Qiaoying and two other practitioners went out to clarify the truth and were arrested by police officers from the Baqiao Police and taken to the Xuanpingyuan Brainwashing Center, a northern suburb of the city.

13. [Shahe City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wei Gailin Arrested

On the night of June 12, 2011, Mr. Wei Gailin, from Wanggang Village, Shiliting Town, Shahe City, was arrested by a group of police officers from Shahe City.

14. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Chen Xihong and Others Tortured in Prison for Eight Months

On the night of October 15, 2010, Mr. Jia Jinhui, Ms. Chen Xihong, Ms. Zhang Shuling and Ms. Chen Xiaoni, from Xinzheng City, were arrested by officers from the Xuedian Town Police Station, Xinzheng City, when they distributed truth clarifying materials. They were taken to Xinzheng City Detention Center and forced to work like slaves. To dates, over eight months have passed.

At the beginning of May, 2011, these four victims were secretly tried at the Xinzheng City People's Court. Ms. Zhang was sentenced to three years and three months in prison. The other three were each sentenced to three years in prison.

On the morning of June 13, 2011, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yan Shijun, from Sihe Town, Yushu City, were arrested at home. On the same day, Mr. Man Shujie, from Yushu City was arrested.

Ms. Yan Shijun's husband Mr. Lu Xianfeng was sentenced to four years in prison in 2007. At present, he is being held at the Shiling Prison, Siping City.

On May 26, 2011, Mr. Dai Xianxi was arrested by officers from the Qishi Town Dongshan Police Station, when he was distributing informational materials at Qishi Town, Dongguan City. His whereabouts are unknown.

17. [Beijing ]More Information about Ms. Pang Xiuling's Arrest

The night of April 2, 2011, Ms. Pang Xiuling from Beijing, was arrested when she was distributing truth clarifying materials at the Gezhuang Village, Dongsha, Beqijia Town, Changping District. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor, and is being held at the No. 4 Ward of the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp.

On the afternoon of May 21, 2011, Mr. Yang Yuliang and Ms. Gao Yan, from Shigezhuang Village, Dasungezhuang Town, Shunyi District, Beijing, were arrested by officers from the Dasungezhuang Police Station. They are being held at the Dasungezhuang Police Station.

19. [Chongqing] Mr. Wang Jinxiu Arrested

On June 14, 2011, a retired teacher from the Qinggang Town Experimental Elementary School, Bishan County, Chongqing City, was arrested at Laifeng Town, Bishan County. When he was taken to Bishan Detention Center, he was diagnosed with high blood pressure and coronary heart disease, so the guards of the detention center refused to accept him, and he was released. He was later again arrested.

20. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] More Information about Ms. Man Shujie's Arrest

At 3:00 a.m., on June 13, 2011, officers from the Yushu City 610 Office, police station and neighborhood committee, arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Man Shujue and was taken to the Huaijia Township Brainwashing Center. Police officers took away her copy of Zhuan Falun and an MP3 player.

21. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Cui Zhibin Held at City Detention Center

On the morning of June 14, 2011, Mr. Cui Zhibin, from Shuangyashan City, was arrested by officers from the Jianshan District Domestic Security Division and deputy director of Wohongqiao Police Station, Qu Zhifeng, and Sun Xiaofeng, the leader of the police officers. His home was ransacked. Later they also arrested his wife who is not a practitioner. Mr. Cui is being held at the city detention center, and he is going on a hunger strike to protest. His wife is back home.

At noon on June 15, 2011, officers from the Chongqing Yongchuan District 610 Office, Domestic Security Division and Shengli Road Government Complex Maintenance Office, approximately ten people, arrested Mr. Xu Keqin at home.

On the morning of June 15, 2011, Mr. Xie Deshuang, was arrested by officers from the Wangqing County Police Department and Dongguang Town Police Station. He was taken to the Wangqing Brainwashing Center.

On June 10, 2011, Wu Hua, director of the Jixian County Domestic Security Division, led about six police officers to the Jixian County Jianxin Middle School and arrested Mr. Qiao Lingjun and two other practitioners from other places. Officers ransacked the middle school and took cash valued at nearly 3000 yuan along with some items. Mr. Qiao is being held at the Jixian County Detention Center.

At noon on June 7, 2011, Ms. Xiao Yu, from Xuchang City, Henan Province, was arrested by officers from the Wuyi Road Police Station, when she was clarifying the truth on Wuyi Road. At the Wuyi Road Police Station, police officers beat her fiercely. As a result there was blood all over her face and body, and she had trouble walking. On the morning of June 9, 2011, Ms. Huang Shuangxia, from Xuchang City, in her 50's, was stopped by the secretary of Laokouzhuang who was driving a vehicle when she was distributing informational materials to the Changcunzhang Township. She was arrested by about six police officers from the Xuchang City Economic Development Zone Police Station and her home was ransacked. One week after she was detained at the Liyuan Detention Center, she was taken to the Yanling County Detention Center.
