(Clearwisdom.net) This year, I distributed VCDs of the “2011 World Chinese New Year Evening Show” and the “Shen Yun Chorus Concert.” During this process, I clearly felt the desire and respect of sentient beings who want to know the truth.
For example, some friends from Anhui and Hebei visited this area on May 8, 2011. We went to a restaurant and I asked everyone, “How many of you have seen a western ballet with songs, dance, and drama?” Instantly, everyone looked at me and I knew then that they had not seen a ballet. But they had certainly heard about them. While we were chatting I started talking about ballet art, then directed my conversation to the main topic. I told them about eastern song and dance, which is classical Chinese dance, and that classical Chinese dance involves artistic expression, physical endurance, unique postures, a variety of technical movements, and very difficult tumbling techniques. I told them that it contains concepts of the 5000 year-old Chinese culture and that Chinese culture has a long history, but the Chinese Communist Party completely destroyed the culture during a past decade. As Chinese, we don't even know what true Chinese culture is. I handed the VCDs to each of six families and told them to enjoy the them when they got home. A representative from each family stood up and accepted the VCDs with both hands. Some of the people in those families were business managers, executives, division heads, and a singer. I suggested that the singer watch it carefully, pick a song and learn how to sing it. He happily nodded his head and promised, “I will, I will, I will.”
Sometimes, when I distributed Shen Yun VCDs to passersby, I called out, “Big brother, big sister, big boss, dear friend” (or other terms), and asked them to come over. I then told them that I had a treasure for them, and handed them Shen Yun VCDs. I also said, “This is top notch elegant eastern singing and dance art and has a more lasting appeal than ballet. Go home and watch it closely.” They also accepted the VCDs with both hands and thanked me.
I have a suggestion for other practitioners who distribute VCDs. Be sure to ask if the receiver has a computer or VCD player at home. Only by acting responsibly will our VCDs, which are a tool to clarify the facts, play a role in saving people, because it takes a lot of hard work for fellow practitioners to produce these VCDs. Practitioners are very careful, serious, and maintain a high standard when producing these VCDs. Therefore, please treasure and respect the hard work of fellow practitioners. At the same time, be responsible while saving people. When I distribute VCDs, I first consider employees in large enterprises, because these companies provide computers for everyone. I then give VCDs to car drivers, because these people are typically financially well-off and most likely own computers and VCD players. When I distribute VCDs in stores, I make sure that I have enough with me, because other people may also want one. People have said to me, “I have a DVD player at home, please give me a set.” I then hand them a set and tell them: “Watching these will bring you good luck. Tell your friends to watch these VCDs with you.”
The more I cultivate in the Fa, the more I feel the boundless power of the Fa. I also feel ashamed for my arrogance and ignorance in the past. Were it not for Master rectifying the Fa, I would be a mere speck of dust and would have no idea where my place is in this mighty universe. Now that I am saved by Dafa and Master, my mission is to help save people, be firm and honest, and do it well.
