(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Liu Zhulan, 76, is from Wuhan City. At the end of March she went to the forced labor camp to pick up her daughter, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Weifang, and bring her home. Ms. Liu was brutally beaten by Hanjiadun Police Station officers, who pulled out a bunch of her hair.

Ms. Yang Weifang was sentenced to one year in a detention center. March 29, 2011, was the last day of her sentence. On March 28, her mother went to Hanjiadun Police Station and asked Zhou Xijun, a police officer, when her daughter would be released. Zhu said it was time, and her family could go get her.

On March 29, Ms. Liu went to the detention center at 5:30 a.m. and waited beside the gate. She waited till 11:00 a.m. and still wasn't allowed to see her daughter. She asked the person on duty, who called to confirm that her daughter, Ms. Yang Weifang, was still in the detention center. However, when she called Hanjiadun Police Station, they lied and said that Ms. Yang had been transferred somewhere else. The mother and her aunt went to the police station to look for officer Zhu Xiju. At that time, the police chief was there. The officers shouted, “How dare you Falun Gong come to the police station? Go away!” They said many slanderous things about Dafa. The entire time they verbally abused the two ladies, they kept shoving them. Then the mother said loudly, “The police are beating me!” Everyone in the police station came to see what was happening. Police chief Zhu and officer Zhu were holding a handful of Ms. Liu's mother's hair while the police chief pulled her arms in opposite directions. They pulled out a lot of her hair.

At 5:00 a.m. on March 30, the mother again went to the Hewan Forced Labor Camp. However, her daughter was still not released. She had to ask several people, and was finally told that her daughter had secretly been sent to Etouwan Brainwashing Center in the Qiaokou District by the Hanjiadun Police Station.

How Ms. Yang Weifang was sentenced to forced labor

Around 4:00 p.m. on March 29, 2010, Ms. Liu and her daughter, Ms. Yang, had just come back from visiting their relatives. Zhou Xiju, officers from Hanjiadun Police Station in the Hankou District, and Liu Liyan and Shi Xuan from Guwu Community broke into Ms. Liu's dorm in Changjiang Light Car Factory in Wuhan City. They searched the dorm and confiscated her Dafa books. At 7 p.m. the same day, they and Wang Anli, the director of Yunhe Community; police officer Zhu; and five or six others broke into Ms. Yang's home. They searched everywhere and confiscated 3,400 yuan. The police dragged Ms. Yang, who was wearing pajamas and slippers, down to the first floor. Her slippers fell off on the stairs. She said very loudly, “Falun Dafa is good!” They dragged her in her bare feet into a car. That night they detained Ms. Yang and her mother separately. Around 10 p.m., they told the mother to go home. The mother asked them to give her back all her Dafa books. One of the police officers grabbed her, lifted her off her chair, and shoved her on the ground. Another officer deceived her, telling her to come back at 9:00 a.m. the next day to get her books. The next morning, when Ms. Liu went to the police station to get her books, officer Zhou Xijun said, “Do you think you can get back what we've taken?” Then he shoved her and another old lady, pushing them 2 or 3 meters away.

The police first sent Ms. Yang to Qiaokou Brainwashing Center. On May 4, 2010, they sent her to Team 6 in Hewan Forced Labor Camp for one year. She was handcuffed and hung up for three days, which caused her hands to swell badly. Her hands were hurt so badly that she could not take care of herself. She could not stand or sit and had trouble walking. Nevertheless, the cruel guards still forced her to do heavy labor, and she fainted several times while working.
