(Clearwisdom.net) While I was working away from home in March 1999, I borrowed a copy of the book Zhuan Falun from a colleague. After reading the first chapter, I liked it so much that I decided to practice Falun Dafa.

When the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting practitioners on July 20, 1999, my colleague stopped practicing and gave me his copy of the book. I used this and a hand-copied article of Master's teaching to guide my practice for the next three years. I returned to my hometown to work in early 2002 and got to know the local practitioners there. They gave me other articles by Master to read, and I learned that there were three things that I should do in order to assist Master during the Fa-rectification.

Clarifying the facts to people at work

I was working at an agency in 2002 that employed over 300 people. I started distributing truth-clarification materials to the staff in all of the work units. Six unit directors and deputy managers overlooked what I was doing, and some even took the materials that I offered to them. A few even suggested to their staff that they get the materials from me. At that time, only one director refused to take any information from me.

I distributed materials in the office buildings and warehouses and to the people that had retired from the agency. When a poster slandering Dafa appeared on the bulletin board at work, one of my colleagues suggested that I destroy it. I recognized that the writing on the poster belonged to one of the propaganda officers and believed that he was directed by the Party secretary of the local CCP branch to put the poster up.

After I told the Party secretary the facts about Falun Dafa on two separate occasions, no more posters slandering Dafa were put up while I worked there.

I participated in group Fa study and distributed truth-clarification materials to many government agencies. Within a two-month period, I visited the offices of mayors, Party secretaries, the judiciary, military officers, schools, hospitals, and many other institutions. There were two instances when I went to places with no signs above the door, and they turned out to be police stations. I did not know this until I saw a room marked “interrogation room.” I was chased by the police three times and evaded traps set up by them on many occasions. After being chased one evening, I had to walk more than 15 miles to a small town and then rent a car to get back home. With Master's guidance I returned home safely each time.

When I distributed copies of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs to high schools around the county, there were two instances when students actually came to ask me for the book or a copy of the DVD. On my way home, several students boarded the same bus as me. I handed them materials and they took everything I had, including the DVDs. When others asked, “Do you have any more DVDs?” I told them that I would bring more next time.

Clarifying the facts on business trips

When I go on business trips, I always carry a bag of truth-clarification materials with me. When I went to Chongqing, I stayed at a client's home. The city is situated along a hillside. In the evening I took some “Falun Dafa Is Good” posters and put them up along a street near the top of the hill and halfway down the hill. As I went up the hill the next morning, I saw a police station near where I had put up some of the posters.

By the time I had finished delivering the products to our clients, it was late in the evening, so I put up posters on each electricity pole I walked past. On one of my business trips to Zhejiang Province, the bus broke down, so I put up posters on the electricity poles and iron railings along the roadside.

Helping practitioners who have been brainwashed

A male practitioner began to have doubts about Dafa after being forced to attend a brainwashing session. I told him, “Master said one should not force anyone to cultivate. Think about this: Is anyone imprisoned, put in detention, or sent to a forced labor camp because they no longer want to cultivate? Are you not free to practice as you please? Only the terrible CCP wants to stop people from cultivating and uses evil means to achieve its objectives, while claiming that they are great and righteous. Isn't it clear who is evil?” He nodded his head and replied, “I understand now.”

I know that I have many human notions yet to be removed. I plan to study the Fa even more, do more for others, and save more sentient beings.
