I am a doctor. Master has taught us how to be better people, and I have completely changed into a different person after practicing Dafa. In the medical care system in China, immoral things take place every day. One of them is the growing corruption within the system. The more you bribe your doctor, the better medical care you'll get. Thus, receiving a red envelope with money inside from patients and their family members to ensure better medical treatment is fairly common and is contributing to the ruin of Chinese society. However, as practitioners it offers us another opportunity to validate the Fa and offer more people salvation. Whenever a patient gives me a red envelope, I politely refuse it. Sometimes my not accepting it would have been awkward, so I have taken it temporarily and then returned it after I completed the patient's treatment. When I explain how Falun Dafa practitioners follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and strive to raise their moral standards, I also tell them the facts about the persecution. Most of my patients and their families are surprised and grateful, because their knowing sides know I have saved them and refuse to be bribed, so they express their respect for Dafa and are happy to accept truth clarification materials.

A breast cancer patient once had a sudden arterial fibrillation. I rushed to the hospital and performed an emergency procedure. She quickly recovered and was very grateful. When I tried to return the red envelope to her, she and her family refused to take it back. I told them that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner, and our Master teaches how to be a better person. I also told them about the beauty of Dafa. The patient and her family were moved beyond words. To express their appreciation, they sent a banner to the hospital administration and told them how much they appreciated having me as her physician. Through this incident I was able to once again verify the goodness of Dafa to patients and as well as my colleagues. I am only person in the hospital who openly practices Dafa and will not take any red envelopes.

With every medical case or treatment I handle, my only consideration is how to best care for the patient, rather than making a profit. I take care of every patient that comes to me, regardless of economic status. My colleagues admire my integrity, and they have quit the CCP as a result of knowing the truth.

I'm aware of my responsibility as a Fa rectification Dafa disciple. Master has compassionately arranged for those who have a pre-destined relationship with Dafa to encounter us. Therefore, we have to cultivate well so we can fully display our best to sentient beings. I realize that we are not only responsible for their salvation, but the way we conduct ourselves may determine whether they obtain the Fa. They pay attention to our every single word and action and monitor how we act in our daily lives, including how we change as we strive to become better. I've often been told by the people around me, “You look younger after practicing Dafa.” We let go of the old cosmos' selfishness and any attachment we may have to the appearance of dedication and completely deny the old forces' arrangements.

In our daily lives, although we live in everyday society, we are required to remain calm and compassionate. I often chat with my family members and colleagues and take care of them. I look for the positive sides of people and praise them. In the midst of the poisonous environment of the CCP, they like to be around practitioners, and our upright behavior has earned their trust and respect. Many of my colleagues like to talk to me when they have problems at home or at work, and I comfort them based on the Fa. People feel comforted and feel a sense of relief after talking to me. Now, more than 90 percent of my friends and family members have quit the CCP. Some started reading Dafa books after understanding the facts.
