The Chinese Communist Party Dares Not Document the 610 Office's Persecution of Falun Gong in Local Chronicles

November 06, 2011 |   By a practitioner from China

(Clearwisdom.net) I recently attended a county-level work meeting about starting another round of editing local chronicles. The chief editor said, “It's absolutely not allowed to put down any word related to the 610 Office or Falun Gong in the articles. The international society is criticizing China's human rights situation. The persecution of Falun Gong can't appear in the local chronicles. In some areas, the articles were rejected and had to be re-edited just because they put down information related to Falun Gong.”

The 610 Office is an extra-judiciary bureau created on June 10, 1999 by the Chinese Communist regime specifically to persecute Falun Gong. It has committed countless crimes over the past 12 years.

The recent directive shows that the Chinese Communist Party knows that they are committing crimes by persecuting Falun Gong. They don't dare to document what they have done in the local chronicles because they are afraid of being held responsible for these crimes.
