(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Pang Yali (aged 53) lives in Yushu City, Jilin Province. Since she started practicing Falun Gong, she has conducted herself according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and she has informed the world's people about the persecution of Falun Gong. As a result, she has been arrested, harassed, detained, and subjected to forced labor and torture by agents from the 610 Office and officers from the Domestic Security Division.
The following is part of Ms. Pang Yali's account of her experience of persecution:
"In mid-July, 2008 Yushu City Police Department officers Zhang Li, Tong Qikai, and others broke into my home and confiscated all of my Falun Gong literature, CDs, and paper currency with Falun Gong messages written on them--totaling more than 100 yuan. They took me to a detention center and held me there for two weeks, and then they sent me to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City. The labor camp refused to accept me because I was extremely weak from my hunger strike to protest the illegal detention while in the detention center. I was then released. Fifteen days following my release, the same group of police officers again took me to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp under the guise of giving me a medical checkup.
While in the labor camp, guard Zou Jialin and others slapped my face because I resisted their persecution. On one occasion guard Zhang Yuxue handcuffed me and locked me down on a bed; then the head of Division Seven, Hou Zhihong, shocked me on my arms, my neck, my head, and my face with an electric baton for 40 minutes. My face was swollen as a result of this torture.
Another time, guards Wang Lihua and Wei Dan tied me to a death bed for one day. When I was released from the torture, my legs from my knees down were numb, and they have not yet recovered.
Once Hou Zhihong and Wang Lihua took me from the canteen to a small dark room where they slapped my face because I shouted out loud, "Falun Dafa is Good."
During the 19-month detention in the camp, my family came to visit me several times, but the camp authorities forbade them to see me.
On May 21, 2010 police officers Zhang Li, Tong Qikai, and several community personnel broke into my home, saying that they were taking me to "study." I said I would not go with them this time. They were attempting to arrest me, when my oldest daughter came out of the kitchen and confronted them. She said to them, "What is wrong with my mother being a good person? You do not arrest the bad people, but only good people?!" They were defeated and had to leave.
