(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 23 cities or counties in 12 provinces. In this report, 11 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 35 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Fuyu County, Jilin Province] Practitioner Mr. Xu Hui Detained at a Brainwashing Center
At around 4 p.m. on September 9, 2010, Liu Yunying from the Fuyu County Domestic Division, Hu Zhanshuang the section head of Dalinzi Police Station and personnel from Fuyu County 610 Office went to Dalinzi Middle School and abducted teacher Mr. Xu Hui.
In April 2008, Mr. Xu was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. While at the labor camp, he suffered from torture such as electric shock on his head and was subjected to slave labor.
2. [Shulan, Jilin Province] Police Bureau Collaborating with 610 Office Opens a Brainwashing Center in Shencaoshanzhuang at Xinanxiang
At around 8 p.m. on September 8, 2010, police officer Wang Shicheng and others from Shulan City Police Station went to practitioner Ms. Niu Yumin's home in Sanliang Village. Ms. Niu was not home. The police ransacked her home, confiscated Falun Gong books, and took her husband Mr. Li Wenbo to the police station. Mr. Li was released after 15 hours of detention.
On September 9, police abducted practitioners Mr. Yu Wencheng, Ms. Wu Xiyun and Mr. Qu Yunqiang and took them to the brainwashing center at Shencaoshanzhuang,Xinanxiang.

3. [Tumen, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Yaxian, Mr. Zhang Qingjun and His Wife Ms. Zhang Shuhua Detained at a Brainwashing Center
At around 7 am on September 10, 2010, practitioner Mr. Zhang Qingjun (60) and his wife Ms. Zhang Shuhua (55) from Shiyan Town of Mentu were abducted from their home and taken to a brainwashing center at Hongguangxiang Senior Housing.
On the same day, practitioner Ms. Liu Yaxian, an elementary school teacher, was also forcibly taken to the same brainwashing center.
4. [Tonghua, Jilin Province] Persecution Information about Ms. Wei Changlan
At 8 p.m. on September 9, dozens of people from Yingebu Town government and the Chinese Communist Party secretary of Lishugou Village from Kuaida County, Tonghua went to practitioner Ms. Wei Changlan's home. Ms. Wei managed to escape. On the morning of the next day, police caught Ms. Wei and her daughter, and took them to the brainwashing center on the fourth floor of Hejia Hotel, across the street from Jingyu Middle School. So far there are four practitioners being detained at the brainwashing center. Around noon on September 10, Ms. Wei escaped from the center.
5. [Hulin, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xu Tianxiang Arrested
Practitioners Ms. Xu Tianxiang from Yinchun 854 Farm of Hulin City and Ms. Du Changxia from Yinchun Forestry Bureau were arrested while riding a train on the evening of August 21, 2010. Both practitioners' homes were ransacked. The police confiscated Falun Gong books and materials found in Ms. Xu's home. Both practitioners were detained at Tielu Detention Center of Mudanjiang City. On September 10, Ms. Du returned back home.

6. [Huachuan County, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Qi Xianan and Ms. Cai Haihong Arrested
On the evening of September 9, 2010, Mr. Qi Xianan and Ms. Cai Haihong went to clarify the truth of Falun Gong and were arrested by the Domestic Security Division of Huachuan County Police Bureau. Both practitioners were detained at Huachuan County Detention Center. Dong Hongsheng, the head of Domestic Security Division, and others ransacked Ms. Cao Haihong's home. Practitioner Wu Jun was also arrested and Wu's home was ransacked. The police detained Wu Jun for a whole afternoon and released Wu.

7. [Xi'an, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Ma Wenjing Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Ma Wenjing (72) is a retiree from Cable Factory of Xidian Electricity Company. On the afternoon of September 3, 2010, she was arrested from her home by the personnel from the 610 Office in Xi'an. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
8. [Huai'an, Jiangsu Province] Police Ransack Ms. Sha Suyun's Home
At around 4 p.m. on September 8, 2010, police officers Zhao Zhengzhong, Hong Hua and Chen Zhaoming from Zhakou Police Station of Qingpu District of Huai'an City broke into practitioner Ms. Sha Suyun's home. Ms. Sha Suyun is in her seventies. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong materials.
9. [Xingtai, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
On the afternoon of September 6, seven practitioners were arrested. Among those arrested were Ms. Yi Qingfa and her daughter Ms. Miao Qiumei, Ms. Ren Junxiang and her daughter-in-law, and Ms. Wen Hong. On September 8, practitioner Ms. Hou Suping from Dashitouzhang Village of Xingtai County was arrested. All the arrested practitioners are currently being detained at Xingtai City Brainwashing Center.
10. [Qinghuangdao, Hebei Province] Mr. Song Zhiyu Taken Away After His Prison Term Ended
Practitioner Mr. Song Zhiyu from Qinghuangdao had been detained at Tumuji Forced Labor Camp in Inner Mongolia. His prison term there was completed on September 10. At around 8 a.m. on September 10, perpetrators from Qinghuangdao took him away to a forced labor camp. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
11. [Qinghuangdao, Hebei Province] Ms. Hao Jiangling Detained at a Forced Labor Camp
Practitioner Ms. Hao Jiangling from Yibuzhai of Funing County, Qinghuangdao City was arrested on September 9 when she talked about Falun Gong to management committee staff in a development district. Ms. Hao is currently being detained at Kaiping Forced Labor Camp.
12. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Ms. Yin Sufen and Ms. Du Lianxiu Arrested
On September 9, 2010, practitioners Ms. Yin Sufen and Ms. Du Lianxiu from Dakanxia Village, Bailongxiang of Mancheng County talked to people about Falun Gong at Buyue Village, Shanbeixianng of Yi County. They were arrested by the police from Shanbei Airport Police Station
13. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Caiyu Arrested
On September 10, 2010, police from Haotouzhuangxiang Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Caiyu from Wujia Village, Haotouzhuangxiang, Dingzhou City.
14. [Sanhe, Hebei Province] Ms. Dong Guirong and Ms. Shen Yongzhi Arrested
At 12:30 p.m. on September 9, 2010, police from Langfeng Brainwashing Center arrested practitioners Ms. Dong Guirong and Ms. Shen Yongzhi from Zhugedian Village, Yanjiao Town of Sanhe. The practitioners were taken to the Langfang Brainwashing Center.
15. [Zhoukou, Henan Province] Arrest of Mr. Sun Zhanping and His Wife Ms. Li Changying
On the morning of August 31, 2010, police officer Gao Feng and six other policemen of the Domestic Security Division in Zhoukou City broke into Mr. Sun Zhanping's home. They ransacked the home and detained Mr. Sun and his wife, Ms. Li Changying, in Zhoukou City Detention Center.
The police confiscated Falun Gong books, materials, a desktop computer, a laptop, a digital camera and the couple's salary record books.
16. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Sifeng Arrested
On the evening of September 4, 2010, when practitioner Mr. Zhang Sifeng from Jianqiao Street of Hanyang District of Wuhan City was on his way home, he was arrested by police from the 610 Office who had been stationed outside his home. The windows of Mr. Zhang's home were found broken, and the door unlocked.
17. [Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] Ms. Cheng Lianqiong Arrested
On August 18, 2010, police from the 610 Office arrested practitioner Ms. Cheng Lianqiong from her home at Taihe Town, Baiyun Distrct of Guangzhou City. The police confiscated Ms. Cheng's personal property including a laptop, a desktop computer, a printer and a copy machine. Ms. Cheng's whereabouts are unknown.
Back in 2007, the 610 Office abducted Ms. Cheng and sent her to the "Law Education Class"(brainwashing class) at Zengcuo Road, trying to force her to give up her practice of Falun Gong.
In 2008 Ms. Cheng went to her hometown to clarify the truth about the persecution. The police from Xingzi Town Police Bureau of Lianzhou City arrested her and took her to Sanshui Women's Forced Labor Camp at Foshan for a one year term.
18. [Zhijiang, Hubei Province] Ms. Lin Xuemei Detained in Wuhan City Brainwashing Center on September 9, 2010
19. [Shuangliu County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Peng Qunxian Taken to a Brainwashing Center
On September 10, 2010, police officer Li Zhongquan and others from Shuangliu County 610 Office arrested practitioner Ms. Peng Qunxian and took him to Xinjin Brainwashing Center.
20. [Xingning, Guangdong Province] Mr. Huang Zonghong Arrested
On the morning of September 5, 2010, practitioner Mr. Huang Zonghong from Heshui Town of Xingning City gave a Shen Yun DVD to a plain-clothed police officer. Mr. Huang was arrested and detained.
21. [Hebei Province] Updated Persecution Information on Five Practitioners from Qing County
On August 25, 2010, five practitioners from Qing County: Ms. Ma Qingling, Mr. Yao Wei, Mr. Zhang Tieshan, Mr. Li Xueming and Ms. Bai Suqin and a practitioner from another area were arrested. Mr. Yao Wei was sentenced to one year of forced labor and sent to Cangzhou Forced Labor Camp on August 26.
Ms. Ma Qingling, Mr. Zhang Tieshan, Mr. Li Xueming and Ms. Bai Suqin are being detained at Qing County Detention Center. Mr. Zhang Tieshan went on a hunger strike for 14 days, and his physical condition is very weak. The police have refused to released him, nor will they allow the five practitioners' families to visit them.

22. [Hengyang, Hunan Province] Ms. Yi Guihua Arrested
On or about September 10, 2010, police from Domestic Security Division in Hengyang City, and police officer Chen Mingqing from Bajiaotang Police Bureau for Yejin Factory arrested practitioner Ms. Yi Guihua at the residential area of Xinfengli of Yejin Factory.
23. [Jieyang, Guangdong Province] Police from Nanshan Police Station Arrest Mr. Wu Yanduo
On the morning of September 7, 2010, police from Nanshan Police Station in Shenzhen arrested practitioner Mr. Wu Yanduo from Jieyang, when he was distributing Falun Gong truth clarification materials. The police later ransacked Mr. Wu's home.
24. [Xinhuang County, Hunan Province] Police from the 610 Office and National Security Arrest Ms. Yang Donglian
At around 9 a.m. on September 9, 2010, three people from Xinhuang 610 Office and the National Security Department stationed themselves outside of practitioner Ms. Yang Donglian's home. When Ms. Yang returned from shopping at a grocery store, they arrested her. Ms. Yang is currently being detained somewhere in Xinhuang County.
25. [Nanchang, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Wu Jinjun Missing
On the morning of September 10, 2010, practitioner Mr. Wu Jinjun went out to clarify the truth of Falun Gong and was arrested. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
Mr. Wu has suffered from severe persecution in the past. From 2000 to 2009, he has been sent to forced labor camps three times, with total prison time adding up to 9 years.
26. [Xichang, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Yanyun and Mr. Zhao Yulin Arrested
On the evening of September 9, 2010, Ningyuan Police Station officers arrested practitioners Ms. Huang Yanyun and Mr. Zhao Yulin near Jingyuan Bridge on Xihexi Road at Xichang City. Ms. Huang Yanyun is detained at Tuohuang Detention Center in Xichang. Mr. Zhao Yulin's whereabouts are unknown.

27. [Xinxiang, Henan Province] Mr. Xu Faling Detained
On August 24, practitioner Mr. Xu Faling from Xinxiang City brought his 13-year-old daughter to visit relatives in their Yuanyang hometown. On the bus to Yuanyang, he talked to people about Falun Gong and was reported. Police arrested him and detained him in Yuanyang County Detention Center. On August 25, police officer Qian Lin from the Domestic Security Division of Xinxiang City Police Bureau at Muye Branch arrested Mr. Xu's wife, practitioner Ms. Ye Huiming, from her home. The officer ransacked the home, confiscated Falun Gong books, a computer, a printer, cash and a salary card. Ms. Ye is now back at home.
