Taking Every Opportunity to Clarify the Facts and Persuade People to Quit the Communist Party

July 09, 2010 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) Since the persecution of Falun Gong started in 1999, I have been detained in detention centers twice, in watch houses twice, brainwashing centers twice, and a labor camp once, during which time I suffered a miscarriage. But I have survived under the merciful protection of Master Li Hongzhi. Three years ago a fellow practitioner suggested that I write an article to share my experiences of saving people and clarifying the facts, but I didn't do it because I wasn't confident about my writing skills. Recently, four practitioners came to my home and asked me to write it, so I'm writing this article to share my stories about cultivation, truth-clarification, and persuading people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

I have been using every spare minute to clarify the facts and persuade people to quit the CCP and its related organizations. My husband is from a big family of four brothers and one sister. I have successfully persuaded almost all his siblings' families to quit the evil CCP. He has assisted my efforts by sending forth righteous thoughts. My husband also reminds me that, although I have persuaded almost 100 people to quit, I should not develop an attachment of zealotry. After I looked inside and removed that attachment, his third younger brother, who had always refused to quit, finally withdrew from the Party as well.

However, this process took a lot more effort when it came to dealing with my own family, through which I was able to remove a layer of sentimentality. Because my affection toward my younger brother and older sister was too strong, they refused to quit, which made me cry. Through Fa-study, I looked inside and realized that their refusal was caused by my attachment to sentimentality. After letting go of the attachment, they eventually approached me about wanting to quit the Party. I was extremely grateful for Master's immense compassion and once again understood what Master meant when he said: "Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master." (Zhuan Falun, Lecture One)

Nearly 100 people from my mom's family have quit the evil CCP and its affiliations. In addition, I have clarified the facts to the local party secretary and village head, and as a result, all members of the village committee have quit the CCP. The party secretary said, "Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. I do not think the Communist Party is a good party. I know your practice is good." A lot of them support and protect practitioners.

One day I went to send forth righteous thoughts in close proximity to the city, and my brother-in-law offered me a ride. When we were having lunch in a restaurant, I clarified the facts to more than 10 construction workers. My brother-in-law helped me clarify the facts and said, "Listen to her. I wish I had quit the CCP sooner. Once, my trailer would break several times a day, and I had to fix the tire 12 times in two days and lost a lot of money. After I quit the CCP, guess what? Everything went well from then on. How wonderful Falun Gong is!" Then and there I persuaded them to quit the CCP and its youth organizations, which would insure that they could survive the heavenly destruction of the CCP. They all quit and kept thanking me as they left the restaurant.

"Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master." (Zhuan Falun, Lecture One) I have come to a better understanding of this during the course of truth-clarification and persuading people to quit the CCP and its related organizations. For example, many times a bicycle or a car would suddenly stop about 10 yards from me, and the bicycler or the driver would get off and check to see what went wrong. Then I would quickly walk over and start chatting with them, and they would quickly agree to quit the CCP and its related organizations. Then I would tell them, "Now your car (bicycle) should be all right." Indeed, nothing was wrong and the car or bicycle would run again. When they all witnessed the wonder of Falun Gong, they would be amazed and keep thanking me. This has happened more than 10 times. I am very grateful to Master for arranging these incidents so they could be saved.

One winter, I saw a motorcycle lose control on an icy road, and the rider was thrown off. I helped him get up and told him confidently, "You are OK. Your motorcycle is OK, too." I understood these people are blessed and that they have a predestined relationship to be saved. They normally are quite willing to quit the CCP.

My 79-year-old mother-in-law is very kindhearted. She is supposed to take turns staying with each of her four sons once a month, but she only devotes a week to them, spending the rest of the month with me and my husband so that she can help cook meals, thereby allowing me to spend more time clarifying the facts and helping to save people. She has been doing this for several years. Because I normally clarify the facts in the market, I won't get home until after lunchtime. Sometimes we go to two markets in a row and get home really late, but she always makes our favorite food and waits for us. Besides cooking, she also offers to do the laundry for our family.

I go to many gatherings in the village such as weddings and funerals, and use every opportunity to clarify the facts, whether at the Party secretary's home or a common farmer's home. I sometimes talk to an individual, sometimes to a group. One day during autumn harvest, I was very busy, but I wanted to clarify the facts and persuade people to quit the CCP. I left the market a little earlier that morning, and on my way back I saw more than 10 migrant workers waiting at the bridge for something. I talked to them and they all quit the CCP and its organizations. I thanked Master in my heart for saving them. I have been to many places to clarify the facts. Sometimes I go door-to-door in other villages, sometimes I go to bus stations, and I sometimes stand on the roadside, but most of the time I approach people in the market. I clarify the facts to whomever I meet.
