(Clearwisdom.net) I began to practice Falun Gong in 1996 due to health problems such as heart disease, stomach pain, sciatica, and allergies. Before that, I had to take medications all year long. I kept emergency heart medicine on hand all the time and did not expect to live beyond my 30's. I had a short temper and had no confidence in life. I did not get along with my husband, argued with him daily, and blamed him for my illnesses. My son was suffering and grew up in such an unhealthy environment.

One day in 1996 while taking a walk I saw several older ladies carrying cushions to a club where a nine-day video lecture class by Falun Gong's founder, Master Li Hongzhi, was to be held. Seeking relief from my poor health, I went to see if Falun Gong could cure my heart problem.

My mother heard the news and made three cushions - for my husband, my son and me. My husband went to the video lecture for only one day when the lecture talked about quitting smoking. He used to be a heavy smoker and had that habit since he was in middle school. He attempted to quit many times, but did not succeed. On his way home after the lecture that day he was unable to smoke when a friend passed him a cigarette. I could not believe that he could quit. He did quit that day and he quit forever, because he could no longer stand the smell. He also quit playing mahjong because he could not stand people's smoking when they were playing. My family and relatives witnessed Dafa's power.

I continued to watch Dafa lectures at night and practiced the excises in the morning. On the third day my body reacted exactly as Master said,

"... you will feel that your body is light, as though treading on air. In the past, you would be tired if you walked a few steps, but now it is very easy no matter how far you walk. You feel as if being pushed while riding a bike, and you are not tired when going upstairs--no matter how many floors there are. It is guaranteed to be this way." (Zhuan Falun)

Eventually I stopped all my medications. My husband was worried and began following me in the morning, which I was unaware of until one day, on my way back from the practice site, I picked up groceries. I skipped a step to get on the stairway, and my husband shouted behind me "wow!"So I found out that he had been following me. Thereafter he stopped following me and felt comfortable about me practicing Falun Gong. My long-term illnesses were gone after only a few days of cultivation practice. It was incredible.

Returning from work one day in 1994 I saw my husband sitting on a sofa. He was depressed, telling me he'd had a physical exam that day, and the doctor found a liver tumor. I was not afraid and calmed him down. The next day, we went to the hospital to have a CT scan done. The results showed a large size liver tumor. The doctor recommended that he have another CT in two months, to check the tumor's progression.

My husband is his family's only child. My in-laws were nervous and asked us to go to Beijing for better treatment. I told them that treatment could not cure the tumor, but Falun Gong practice could. My husband had already witnessed the power of Dafa - my significant physical and mental changes. After long-term consideration, he decided to practice Falun Gong with me.

About a year later, he awakened me in the middle of the night and said his tumor was gone. I reminded him to let go of his attachment, but he insisted and asked me touch his back. I found walnut-sized protrusions on his back. He told me that Master took his tumor away through the protrusions. I cried. We went to the hospital for a CT scan and were told the liver tumor had disappeared. We once again witnessed the power of Dafa.

My son witnessed the power of Dafa from us. After July 20, 1999, he was against us practicing Falun Gong, but he became supportive and became a practitioner in 2005.
My whole family is blessed by the immense grace of Falun Dafa. My son mentioned that his career was bumpy before practicing Falun Gong but became smooth afterward. He easily passed his graduation exams with a tuition waiver.

Our family once gain witnessed the power of Dafa. We are so grateful for Master's grace and compassion.
