Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Zhang Fu, male, was once head of the Pingancheng Police Station in Zunhua City. He followed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) closely to persecute Falun Gong and often brutally beat the practitioners.

Two practitioners, Wang Shuling and Gu Baohuan, from Xixiaozhuang Village, Pingancheng Town, went to Luozhuang Village to distribute truth-clarification materials in November 2001. Several police officers from the Pingancheng Police Station arrested them. Zhang Fu, the Pingancheng Police Chief, picked up one of Wang Shuling's shoes and used it to beat both practitioners in the face, making them both dizzy. Zhang Fu then picked up a rubber truncheon and hit Gu Baohuan's left thigh, which became purple with bruises. During the beating, Zhang Fu also swore profusely at them, using many dirty words. The police then grabbed these two practitioners by the hair and pushed them into a police van. After arriving at the Pingancheng Police Station, the police again grabbed them by the hair and pulled them out of the van. During that time, Wang Shuling and Gu Baohuan lost lots of hair. Zhang Fu then ordered the police to detain these two practitioners in iron cages, making them suffer cold and hunger. Late that night, these two practitioners were sent to the Zunhua Detention Center. Because of the brutal beating, Wang Shuling was severely harmed, both physically and mentally. She suffered a mental collapse and could not control her urination and defecation.

Though only in his forties, Zhang Fu died of cerebrovascular disease in 2007.

Village Security Office Suffers Two Strokes

Wang Honggui, male, was a security officer in Xixiaozhuang Village, Pingancheng Town. He went in person to certain locations to monitor Falun Gong practitioners, and led police to practitioners' homes to harass them. In addition, Wang Honggui destroyed truth-clarification posters put up by practitioners. He even shouted while destroying the posters: "Let's see if I will receive retribution!"

Several months later, Wang Honggui suddenly had acute appendicitis. He had to receive IV injections at home that cost him a lot of money. However, he still did not wake up and even instigated village residents to cut down the trees that belonged to Gu Baohuan, a Falun Gong practitioner in the village. He also made up lies claiming practitioners beat village residents.

Attempting to help him, Falun Gong practitioners clarified the truth to Wang Honggui many times and told him that good was rewarded with good and evil acts receive retribution. He did not believe it and continued to do bad deeds. Then he suddenly had a stroke in 2003 and became partially paralyzed. Falun Gong practitioners still continued to clarify truth to him, but he ignored everything they said. Wang Honggui had another stroke in 2005, and he died after many therapies failed.

Company CEO Wang Yongxuan Dies of Bone Cancer

Wang Yongxuan, 50 years old, was the CEO of Zhaoyuan China Mine Corporation, Shandong Province. Because he persecuted Falun Gong practitioners, he received retribution and died of bone cancer.

Wang Yongxuan became CEO of the Zhaoyuan China Mine Corporation in 2001. A vicious place to persecute Falun Gong practitioners was set up inside the Zhaoyuan China Mine Corporation in 2002. During the time when he was CEO, four Falun Gong practitioners were sent to forced labor camps.

Wang Yongxuan was diagnosed with bone cancer in 2009. One of his legs was removed and he was staying in Beijing for therapy. He recently died on June 2, 2010.
