Sydney, Australia: "One of the greatest shows I've seen in my life"

May 16, 2010 |

(Clearwisdom.net) Shen Yun Peforming Arts New York Company performed its fifth performance at the Big Top Theatre, Luna Park, on Friday, May 14, educating and inspiring those in the audience.

For Ravi Raggoo, an actor and dancer from Mauritius, the experience was something beautiful and totally new.

"The show is unique, I have never seen anything so beautiful, so perfectly executed," he said. "[The] timing, choreography, costumes, music, sound system, three-dimensional ... Because I used to do performance shows, I know it demands a lot of work to get it right, perfect timing, everything top notch."

Dancing and acting have been a huge part of Mr. Raggoo's life, and he explained that they are still a big hobby of his, although he is currently studying accounting at university.

Mr. Raggoo commented on the impact of Shen Yun's live orchestra, which combines both Eastern and Western instruments.

"When everyone is playing live--it's not something recorded--you can feel it, you are in it ... It's wonderful!"

The spiritual element to Shen Yun's performances also struck a chord with Mr. Raggoo, and communicated something that he felt he could relate to.

"It's all about giving me this feeling of peace, a connection with nature and the elements, which is what I feel when I look at it, like the metal, wood, air ... when you look at it, it makes you feel peaceful."

"They are communicating a message... I think religion is like a message of love-love for God, and love for others. Because if we love other people then there is no fight, there is no war, there is nothing ... if you try to love each other more than anyone has before, it's going to create a conviction of love...it's a different concept but, yes it's wonderful...Ultimately you need to go back to God, so you need to actually have this material level and spiritual level, so this balance is important."

"This show is one of the greatest shows I have seen in my life!" he concluded, saying he would recommend it to anyone.
