(Clearwisdom.net) Guard Zhang Guolin and other guards in Panjin Prison No. 1 Division in Liaoning Province brutally persecute Falun Gong practitioners. They often use electric batons to repeatedly shock practitioners who refuse to do forced labor.

Mr. Liu Litao is a citizen in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. On April 4, 2007, he refused to participate in the forced labor. Zhang Guolin, director of No. 1 Division, ordered two guards, Zhang Tianliang and Tang Haiming, to electrically shock Mr. Liu with more than ten electric batons. Zhang also ordered Yu Jingshu, the doctor in the prison, to insert two electric needles of 220 volts into Mr. Liu's hands, and another needle into his forehead. Sparks flashed in Mr. Liu's forehead due to the electric current.

On March 31, 2009, Mr. Liu Litao refused to do extra hours of forced labor. Guard Zhang Ning ordered several prisoners to carry him to the Discipline Section. They used electric batons of high voltage--800, 000 volts--to shock his cheeks for more than 40 minutes. His cheeks were swollen, charred, and turned dark purple.

Mr. Xu Zhengqiang is a resident of Yingkou City, Liaoning Province. Before he was sent to the No. 1 Division, he was detained in a special prison area for Falun Gong practitioners in Shenyang City. On April 4, 2007, Zhang Guolin ordered Tang Haiming and Zhang Tianliang to shock him for almost an hour. In 2009, guards Zhang Ping and Shi Yunsong, who were in charge of forced labor, electrically shocked him and ordered him to work extra hours. Once, when Mr. Xu was handing a note to another practitioner, Guan Fengchun, section chief of the Discipline Section, saw it. Guan beat Mr. Xu, which caused his nose to bleed. Mr. Xu was beaten for practicing the Falun Gong exercises.

Mr. Bai Rongchun, a resident of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, was a student at an aeronautics college. Mr. Bai was sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment. Before he was sent to Panjin Prison No. 1 Division, he was persecuted in Shenyang City No. 2 Prison, Dalian Prison, Fushun Prison, and Lingyuan Prison. Guards Zhang Ping and Shi Yunsong used electric batons to force him to work overtime.

Mr. Zhang Zhenxue is a resident of Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province. He was sent to Panjin Prison No. 1 Division in 2006. To stop the brutal persecution of practitioners in Panjin Prison, he wrote a letter to expose the torture employed by Zhang Guolin, director of the No. 1 Division, and Wu Fenggang and He Jiulong, section chiefs in the Discipline Section. He used adhesive tape to stick the letter to the informant's letter box in the No. 1 Division. He also wrote to Song Wanzhong, Zhang Heqian, and Huang Yongqing, directors of Panjin Prison. Since he could not hand in those letters in person, he had to give them to Zhang Guolin and ask him to forward them. He also put letters into the prison directors' mailboxes and procurator's mailbox.

Mr. Zhang went on a hunger strike to refuse forced labor. Zhang Guolin used concrete and iron shackles to immobilize his legs, and forced him to sit on a Tiger Bench. Zhang Guolin used an electric baton to shock Mr. Zhang Zhenxue. Zhang Guolin also force-fed Mr. Zhang by putting a tube into his nose. Mr. Zhang Zhenxue was locked to the Tiger Bench for 48 days. Mr. Zhang's feet were so swollen that he could not put shoes on. In addition, Zhang Guolin enticed prisoners Xu Tiehui and Li Zhi to put Mr. Zhang Zhenxue on a bench and handcuff him behind his back. They used ropes to tie his arms further back and toothpicks to stick into his ribs. They also peeled off his coat and opened the window to let the cold wind in.

In 2007, Mr. Zhang Zhenxue talked with other practitioners, so guards Wang Sisen and Li Feng shocked him for almost an hour. Zhang Guolin electrically shocked Mr. Zhang's neck and face.

On April 2, 2007, Mr. Zhang protested the forced labor in the No. 1 Division. Zhang Guolin called in three other guards, Li Feng, Liu Qiang, and Zhang Ning, and they started to shock him with electric batons at 2 p.m. They kept shocking him until the batons were out of power. They were tired after the "hard work" of torture, so they took a rest. Mr. Zhang shouted firmly, "Falun Dafa is good!" which woke them up and startled them. Liu Qiang started to slap Mr. Zhang crazily, which disfigured Mr. Zhang's face. Zhang Ning used his legs to clamp Mr. Zhang's head and jumped up and down. He used all his strength to electrically shock Mr. Zhang. Li Feng poured water over Mr. Zhang's head and used an electric baton to shock him. Zhang Guolin beat Mr. Zhang, yelled at him, and shocked him with an electric baton. From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., they used electric batons of high voltage to shock Mr. Zhang. Two of the electric batons were of 800,000 volts, and the others were 400,000 volts.

Mr. Tian Yunhai, a resident of Jilin City, Liaoning Province, was a college student at a technology institute affiliated with the Ministry of Railways. He was sentenced to ten years of imprisonment. In April 2006, Mr. Tian refused to let his hair be cut off, since he believed he was innocent. He shouted firmly, "Falun Dafa is good!" Zhang Guolin forced him to sit on a Tiger Bench. Mr. Tian went on hunger strike to protest the torture, but was forced-fed for more than 50 days. He was later sent to the prison hospital for further persecution. He persevered in practicing the Falun Gong exercises but was beaten by other prisoners. Inmate Liu Jianzhao brutally beat Mr. Tian, knocking out two of his teeth.

Mr. Chen Binli is a resident of Fushun City, Liaoning Province. At 5 a.m. in the morning in 2006, he shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" when he was standing in line waiting to work. He also told a prisoner the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong. Wu Fenggang, section chief of the Discipline Section, used four electric batons to shock him without stop. His neck was charred and turned black purple. In September 2006, after he practiced the Falun Gong exercises, Zhang Guolin forced him to sit on a Tiger Bench. He went on hunger strike to protest the torture but was sent to the prison hospital for further persecution. In 2007, Mr. Chen refused to do labor, so Zhang Guolin, Li Feng, Liu Qiang, and Zhang Ning electrically shocked him for an hour.

Mr. Jiang Bo is a resident of Dalian City, Liaoning Province. Before he was sent to the Prison No.1 Prison Area, he was detained in Shenyang City No.2 Prison. On April 2, 2007, he refused to do forced labor, so he was electrically shocked by Zhang Guolin, Liu Qiang, Li Feng, and Zhang Ning with more than ten electric batons for more than 40 minutes.

Mr. Liu Deqing, a citizen of Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. In 2006, he protested the persecution by going on a hunger strike, but he was beaten and electrically shocked. In 2007, when he refused to do forced labor, he was beaten and electrically shocked by guards Zhang Wanfu. Zhang Guolin, Liu Qiang, Li Feng, and Zhang Ning also participated.

Mr. Zhang Yuke is a resident of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. He was sentenced to a seven-year imprisonment. In 2007, because he refused to do forced labor, he was beaten and electrically shocked by Zhang Guolin, Liu Qiang, Li Feng, and Zhang Ning for almost an hour.

Mr. Dong Qinyu, a citizen of Tieling City, Liaoning Province, was sent to Panjin Prison No.1 Prison Area in 2007. Hu Xiaodong, section chief of the Discipline Section, forced him to work and also beat and yelled at him.

Mr. Huang Cheng is a resident of Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. When he was reading Falun Gong articles, a prisoner reported him. Guards Yang Guanjun and Hu Xiaodong beat him. Mr. Huang refused to wear a badge, so he was electrically shocked by Guan Fengchun, Hu Xiaodong and Yang Guanjun. Mr. Huang told the prison personnel that he had resumed practicing Falun Gong, and all that he wrote about denouncing his belief was null and void. Then, he was beaten by Yang Guanjun, Hu Xiaodong, and Li Feng with electric batons. Mr. Huang was so severely persecuted that he could no longer move his legs and arms.

Mr. Lu Guanglin, a resident of Fushun City, Liaoning Province, was forced to do labor and was closely monitored by prisoners enticed by the police. He was tortured until he had stroke symptoms and could not move. He was taken to a hospital, but could not control his excretory functions due to the torture. When he was in the hospital, a prisoner tied up the catheter so that he could not urinate. Fushun Police Station refused his request for medical parole, with the excuse that he had not signed the guarantee statement. Mr. Lu was persecuted to death in Panjin Prison.
