(Clearwisdom.net) School inspector of the Ministry of Education, Dengsung Lin, saw the performance of the Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company at Yuanlin Performance Hall on the evening of April 7. He said that he had heard many friends and school principals praise Shen Yun Performing Arts. After personally seeing the show, he said that he was deeply impressed when the first program started. He was inspired when he saw the depiction of gods descending to the world to save sentient beings.

"The performance is really fabulous. Shen Yun truly conveys true Chinese culture," Mr. Lin said. "Every program is great. So many things played out before my eyes, I didn't know where to look. I wanted to see more." He said that he would read the program book when he goes home so that he could carefully recall each performance and recall the pleasure of seeing Shen Yun.

"Shen Yun is full of significance for social education and school education. If principals, directors, and teachers can see Shen Yun first, and then lead the students to see it, it will be able to achieve the effect of education."

Principal Invites Several Colleagues

Mr. Liu Tse-Hong, principal of Yuanlin High School of Home Economics and Business, invited several education superintendents, school principals and friends to attend the Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company's second show in the Changhua area, April 7.

"Through body language, Shen Yun provides the perfect interpretation of compassion for freedom-seeking spirits," Mr. Liu said. "I think the so-called 'Divine Way' in Chinese tradition is the righteous way which will lead every one of us toward the light. This has always been the pursuit of human beings."

From his perspective as an education professional, Mr. Liu elaborated, "For example, we would like to escape from darkness, shake off poverty, flee from totalitarianism and suppression, and uphold freedom.

"I think politicians and educators of the future want to demonstrate caring and freedom-seeking thoughts. This is what we want, what we hope for as educators."

He thought the concepts of humanity and caring were thoroughly exhibited in Shen Yun's programs. Mr. Liu believes that the Shen Yun performances carry on Chinese traditional culture.

"Shen Yun has demonstrated performing arts in an ample, vivid and vigorous manner. The good and evil of humanity as well as the beauty can all be interpreted by Shen Yun through forms of dancing and singing."

He praised every piece of the program as "very good." Taking as an example the brave behavior in Wu Song Battles the Tiger, Mr. Liu said, "Humans do not want to compromise with evil forces. Instead, they pursue the bright side of humanity. All of this is very good.

"I think the way Shen Yun staged the performance was really nice. Through drama and dancing, people can comprehend with very comfortable, open-hearted spirits."

He added, "I think the spiritual experience provided by Shen Yun is a very good method of education."

'Shen Yun is a very positive performance for everyone!'

Mr. Chen Chiang-Yuan, principal of National Yuanlin High School of Agriculture and Industry, attended the second Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company show in the Changhua area on the evening of April 7. Having watched the show last year, Mr. Chen arrived at the auditorium in great anticipation. He described Shen Yun as "unique and an integral output of many aesthetic factors and connotations. The entire artistic presentation is very beautiful."

Accompanied by his daughter, Mr. Chen watched the Shen Yun performance in Taichung City last year. He said, "It was really gorgeous." As a father, he believes children can absorb a lot of information about truth, goodness and beauty from watching the show. He indicated his regret that his daughter could not come this year because "Shen Yun is a very positive performance for everyone."

Mr. Chen praised Shen Yun, saying, "It is truly extraordinary. I admire Shen Yun very much." He added that a performance as fabulous as Shen Yun was rarely seen. What particularly impressed him was the presentation power of the traditional Chinese dances. The body movements and choreography were so prominent that they went beyond his imagination. He emphasized that using traditional Chinese dances to illustrate modern stories, as in Nothing can Block the Divine Path, is quite difficult.

"Shen Yun manifests the culture of Chinese dances. It is unique and excellent."

As an education professional, Mr. Chen believes that the Shen Yun performance can influence and change people's hearts unobtrusively and imperceptibly and deliver positive values. "Watching Shen Yun provides positive, upward forces to people, making them feel there are a lot of hopes and dreams in their lives."
