(Clearwisdom.net) Initially, Practitioner A received truth-clarification materials from me, and was very busy with an increasing number of projects. At that time, some practitioners proposed that every practitioner should have their own truth-clarification materials production site. I shared this idea with Practitioner A, and he agreed. After a while, he operated his production site completely on his own. During this process, many of our attachments surfaced. I would like to discuss and reflect on the changes that Practitioner A made, before and after he developed an independent materials production site.
Initially when we shared our ideas, Practitioner A used to listen to me and thought that he was inferior to me, and lacked confidence. He was very respectful and looked up to me, because he was quite afraid of technologies like computers and printers, and didn't dare to run any of these machines.
Currently, we're on the same page. We are equal, honest and open to each other, sharing our different ideas, which has enabled us to improve together. When the computer or printer breaks down, he manages to solve the problems. When he speaks, I can tell from his expression that he is more confident.
When Practitioner A started to become independent in making truth-clarification materials, I felt a sense of loss, like I wasn't being looked up to, or respected as before. I saw my attachments clearly when I prepared materials for him while he waited. These attachments included attachments to fame, profit and affection for him. Now I feel grateful that Practitioner A has become independent. Otherwise, I might not have seen my attachments so clearly, and I might have taken my feelings of superiority for granted, placing myself above the other practitioner without noticing it.
Teacher asked each practitioner to walk his or her own cultivation path. In the future, each of us will manage our own world. My understanding is that the proposal for each practitioner to have their own materials production site is not only out of consideration for security, nor to reduce the practitioners' burdens who worked in the large materials production sites. The most important point is to overcome all difficulties in operating the materials site in order to save sentient beings, enabling the practitioner to become confident and obtain the ability - "As Tall as Heaven and Incomparably Noble." Subsequently, the practitioner can manage his or her own heaven kingdom.
This is only my personal understanding. Please kindly point out anything inappropriate.
