(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 30 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 22 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Guangxia Held at the Zhangzhuang Detention Center
After officers from the Weijiazhuang Police Station arrested her, Ms. Chen Guangxia was sent to the Zhangzhuang Detention Center in Jinan City. Her leg was reportedly kicked and injured. She had difficulty walking.
2. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Du Youzhu and Ms. Li Xiulian Illegally Arrested
Mr. Du Youzhu and Ms. Li Xiulian were taken into custody while clarifying the truth on August 14, 2010. Their formal arrest order has now been issued.

3. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Two Female Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested
When two female practitioners clarified the truth on the evening of December 17, 2010, someone reported them to the police. Officers from the Jianzigu Police Station in Decheng District arrested them. One practitioner was released; the other practitioner was sent to the Dezhou Detention Center by Decheng District Police Department officials.

4. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yu Guizhi Arrested and Sent to the Wuxi City First Detention Center in Jiangsu Province
Following Ms. Yu Guizhi's arrest at home on December 16, 2010, persecutors sent her to the Sili Detention Center in Anlu City. She was later transferred to Wuxi City First Detention Center in Jiangsu Province.

5. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Yongxiang, Mr. Xu Yanjiang, and Ms. Li Xiuhua Arrested
Ms. Gao Yongxiang, Mr. Xu Yanjiang, and Ms. Li Xiuhua distributed truth-clarification materials in Qihe County at noon on December 18, 2010. Officers from the Criminal Division of the Qihe Police Department arrested the three practitioners.

7. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Update Regarding the Arrest of Falun Gong Practitioners by Qinglong Police on December 17
Police officers determined the practitioners' locations for this latest arrest sweep by tracking their cell phones. Ms. Shao Weihui was arrested on the street. Ms. Shao Zhiqin and Ms. Xiao Yaling were arrested at the home of Ms. Xiao Yaling. They are currently held at the Qinglong County Detention Center.
8. [Hebei Province] Jidong Prison Hospital Doctor Ms. Ye Hongxia Sent to a Labor Camp
Officers from the Nanbao Development Zone Police Department arrested Ms. Ye Hongxia, a doctor from the Jidong Prison Hospital. The officers held Ms. Ye at the Changningdao Detention Center in Tangshan City for 15 days and released her on December 9.
On December 17, Li Quan and other officers from the Nanbao Development Zone Police Department went to Ms. Ye's workplace for the third time. They took her away with the excuse of verifying records and immediately sent her to the Kaiping Labor Camp in Tangshan City.
9. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Qiaoguan Police Station Officers Harassed and Arrested Practitioners; Some Since Released
Four officers from the Qiaoguan Police Station went to Ms. Ren Fuxiu's home on November 5, 2010 in her absence. The officers ordered her family to leave and then ransacked the home. They confiscated a DVD player, an mp3 player, and Dafa materials.
Officers from the Qiaoguan Police Station then arrested Mr. Meng Xiangjian and Mr. Qin Xueqing on December 16. They sent both of them to the Jingshan Water Reservoir Brainwashing Center and released them in the afternoon.
Officers from the Qiaoguan Police Station arrested Mr. Deng Xiuyi and an elderly female practitioner on December 17, 2010. These two practitioners had come to Qiaoguan from another town to clarify the truth.
10. [Beijing] Officials from the Changping District 610 Office and Domestic Security Division Framed Mr. Zheng Xujun
Agents from the Changping District Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Zheng Xujun and his wife in late February 2008 and sent them to the Changping District Brainwashing Center. Changping District Domestic Security Division agents then ransacked the home. At that time Mr. Zheng was responsible for his employer's product development and he lived in the company's dormitory. The agents took away devices and computers from the company and destroyed all computer data. The financial loss was up to 10 million yuan.
Mr. Zheng was a Ph.D. candidate at the Chinese Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). The institute dismissed him in November 2000 for his beliefs. He has been unable to find a steady job for more than 10 years because he lacks an ID card or registered residence documentation.
11. [Chengkou County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhu Huiqun, Ms. Zhu Huiji, and Ms. Wang Dingxiu Arrested
When middle-school teachers 62-year-old Ms. Zhu Huiqun and 59-year-old Ms. Zhu Huiji from Chengkou County were watching Master Li's video lectures at home on June 15, 2010, someone reported them to the police. Police officers arrested them and ransacked Ms. Zhu Huiqun's home, confiscating Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. These two practitioners are currently held at the Chongqing Women's Labor Camp.
When 56-year-old Ms. Wang Dingxiu was clarifying the truth on the street to two students on June 16, 2010, one of them reported her to police. Police arrested her and are holding her at the Chongqing Women's Labor Camp.
12. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Update Regarding the Arrest of Mr. Zhou Yaogang
Police officers followed Mr. Zhou Yaogang and arrested him. They then ransacked his home, confiscating a computer and a printer. Mr. Zhou is currently held at the Shijiazhuang Detention Center.

13. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Shuzhen and Son Mr. Zhang Mao Arrested
When Mr. Zhang Mao, son of Mr. Zhang Bomin, drove his vehicle the evening of December 18, 2010, Domestic Security Division agents stopped him for inspection. The agents found Falun Gong-related items in the car and arrested him. The agents ransacked his home the next morning at 2:00 a.m., confiscating 15,000 yuan in cash, a printer, Falun Gong books and truth-clarification materials. They also arrested his mother, Ms. Wu Shuzhen. Mr. Zhang Bomin was not at home. Mr. Zhang Mao and Ms. Wu Shuzhen were sent to the Songying Police Station that evening.

14. [Tianjin] Banqiao Women's Labor Camp Officials Abuse Practitioners
Meng Jing and Wang Lin, two agents from the Banqiao Women's Labor Camp, mentally abused practitioners Ms. Meng Qingfen and Ms. Zhang Liqin. The agents also extended the practitioners' labor terms.
15. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhang Ping Secretly Arrested and Released Several Days Later
As Ms. Zhang Ping left her home in the afternoon on October 19, 2010, three officers arrested her and took her to the Gangbei Police Station. Ms. Zhang's hand was injured and some of her hair was pulled out. The officers took away her cell phone, handcuffed her to a metal chair, and later sent her to the Dagang Detention Center. When she was sent to a hospital for a physical examination, Ms. Zhang saw an acquaintance and asked for help. The acquaintance notified Ms. Zhang's family, who began to ask around to rescue her. Ms. Zhang was released several days later.
16. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Dongmei Facing Extension of Detention Term
Ms. Liu Dongmei is currently held in the Fuzhou City Women's Prison. She has been detained four times. Her current term expires on January 7, 2011. Dalian City 610 Office officials plan to extend her term.
17. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Update and Correction Regarding Persecution of Ms. Zhu Ying
Ms. Zhu Ying, about 53 years old, was an official in the Xinxiang City General Labor Union. Zheng Kai and other officers from the Hongqi Police Department arrested Ms. Zhu while she was distributing truth-clarification materials on April 3, 2010. 18. [Tianjin] Gangbei Prison Officials Prohibited Ms. Liu Huijiang's Family Visit
Several practitioners were arrested at Dasi Town in the Xiqing District on November 30, 2008, including Ms. Liu Huijiang, Mr. Yang Qingsheng and Mr. Lu Fuchun. They were sentenced in the summer of 2010 and then sent to the Gangbei Prison. When Mr. Liu Huijiang's family came to visit her on December 18, 2010, prison officials denied their visit.
19. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Yalin and Other Practitioners Held at the Qianxi Detention Center
Several practitioners went to Yuhuzhai Town in Qianxi County the afternoon of December 10, 2010 to clarify the truth. They included Ms. Zhang Yalin, Ms. Jia Shuxiang, Ms. Liu Xiuyun, Ms. Zheng Derong, and Ms. Li Xiufeng. Agents from the Qianxi County Domestic Security Division arrested them and held them at the Qianxi County Lock-up. Four practitioners—Ms. Zhang Yalin, Ms. Jia Shuxiang, Ms. Liu Xiuyun, and Ms. Zheng Derong—were transferred to the Qianxi Detention Center on December 15. Ms. Li Xiufeng was released due to high blood pressure.

20. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiong Chunlian Arrested
Agents from the Huangshi City Police Department's 610 Office, the State Security Bureau and Hubinerxiang Residential Committee arrested Ms. Xiong Chunlian on December 18, 2010. The arrest took place at her relative's residence affiliated with the Feng County First Middle School, Hubei Province. Ms. Xiong's current whereabouts are unknown. The 61-year-old practitioner
is an employee of the Dayi Steel Plant in Huangshi City. 610 Office agents had arrested and detained Ms. Xiong twice before.
21. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Persecution of Ms. Liu Guiping and Ms. Lu Guiqin
Ms. Liu Guiping and Ms. Lu Guiqin went to a development zone to distribute truth-clarification materials the afternoon of December 18, 2010. After accepting a practitioner-made calendar, the man contacted police. Agents from the Fuxin City Development Zone Police Station arrested the two practitioners. At 9:00 p.m. that evening, a person claiming to be a police station head, together with 10 officers, ransacked Ms. Liu Guiping's home. They confiscated an MP3 and an MP5 player.
22. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Caifeng and Ms. Sun Quandong Sent to a Labor Camp
Following a one month detention, Ms. Jiang Caifeng was sentenced to a labor camp on December 13, with a term of one year and six months. Ms. Sun Quandong was sentenced to one year and three months. They are now at the Shandong Province First Women's Labor Camp.
23. [Nan County, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Zhilan and Ms. Liu Kaihua Still Detained
Ms. Wang Zhilan and Ms. Liu Kaihua, in their 60s, were arrested by Zhongyukou Town police officers when clarifying the truth on December 1, 2010. They are still held at the Nan County First Detention Center.
These two practitioners have been arrested and sent to a labor camp several times in the past. After their detention term expired on December 15, 2010, agents sent them covertly to the Baimalong Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City. Although the labor camp officials did not accept them, officials from the Nan County 610 Office and the Zhongyukou Police Station still did not release them. The two practitioners were put back into the Nan County First Detention Center. They have started a persecution-protest hunger strike.

Officers from the Zhonghualu Police Station arrested Mr. Chen Bo the morning of December 19, 2010. They ransacked his home that afternoon. Mr. Chen was later sent to the Xinxing Police Station in the Xihe District.
