(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Yin Jinmei, a Falun Gong practitioner from Jiujiang City in Jiangxi Province, was kidnapped by the police on February 16, 2009. She was tortured in a metal chair. Her hands swelled to the size of her calf and her legs were completely covered with bruises. On March 24, 2009, she was again picked up and sent to the Nanchang Women's Forced Labor Camp for one and a half years.
Ms. Yin Jinmei is a resident of Dongcheng suburb of Lianhua Town in Lushan District of Jiujiang City. At 9:00 am on February 16, 2009, she clarified the truth to people about Falun Gong and was thus taken by the police and sent to a detention center.
The police interrogated her around the clock for three days, demanding to know what other practitioners she knew. The police couldn't obtain anything from her as she did not utter one word. On February 20, 2010, they took her to the fourth floor of Lushan District Police Department. They interrogated her for a long time, but because they couldn't get anything out of her, they tortured her.
At 7:00 pm, they made her sit on a metal chair, handcuffing her to the chair. The chair is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom. Even though she continually clarified the truth about Falun Gong to them, they ignored her and continued to torture her. They held her hands down and stepped on her feet. She lost all feeling in her hands and feet. They continued to torture her for the entire night.
The next morning, they took her back to the detention center. Her hands had become so swollen that they looked equally as thick as her calf. Her feet were covered with bruises. Officials at the detention center were shocked. They claimed that a perfectly fine person had been taken from them, but was returned in such poor condition that they refused to accept her. The torturers whispered some threats to the officials and in the end they accepted her.
In March 24, 2009, she was sent to Nanchang Forced Labor Camp for one and a half years. There the evildoers tried to "transform" her every day. They tried to confuse and change her thinking, to make her say things against her conscience. They did not release her even during the holidays. She did not say anything nor will she be transformed. She practiced the exercises in the labor camp, so the guards named Li and Wei imprisoned her in a solitary cell for a month.
In order to compel practitioners to "transform," the guards instigated four to five inmates to beat up fellow practitioners Chen Yulian and Ouyan Xingqin. Inmate Wang Heni physically assaulted practitioners Tian Haiying and Ouyang Xingqin. Inmate Wang Xiaoying beat up practitioner Li Guihua, who was in her sixties. The inmates who physically assaulted the practitioners were imprisoned for taking drugs and were responsible for monitoring the practitioners.
