(Clearwisdom.net) I read an article in Minghui Weekly about denying the old forces' financial persecution of practitioners that made me think hard. All Dafa practitioners understand that we are cultivating in ordinary society. We need a house to live in, food to eat, and clothes to wear. We work to earn income in order to sustain ourselves. However, due to the old forces manipulating ordinary society and spreading lies about practitioners, sentient beings have been influenced, causing all sorts of tribulations. Thus, practitioners not only suffer physical persecution, but are also enduring financial tribulations. Through discussion and sharing with fellow practitioners, we recognized that financial persecution is part of the old forces' arrangement to persecute practitioners.

The old forces think that they cannot let Dafa disciples become wealthy, because if they were, disciples' truth clarification would be more successful and more powerful, and the old forces would be more easily disintegrated and destroyed. The old forces are trying everything possible to cut off all types of economic sources for Dafa disciples. They are doing everything possible to instigate the police and other evildoers in the human world to stir up trouble and cause financial difficulties by making every attempt at personal attacks and spreading lies about practitioners, manipulating ordinary people to perceive Dafa disciples in a bad way. The evildoers want people to see that practitioners have no money, causing them to make cynical remarks and look down on them. Even some practitioners' family members do not condemn the evil CCP's persecution of their relatives; instead, they actually put pressure on their relatives. They do not recognize that their relatives have no money and are having economic difficulties as a result of the persecution.

All disciples have great wisdom, and there are many skilled craftsmen and technologically professional people among our Dafa disciples. How can we not earn money?

I personally experienced how the CCP propaganda make ordinary people misunderstand us. I remember in 2004 I was working at a private company. One day when the boss and I were eating together, I explained the facts about Falun Gong to him. I told him that those who practice Falun Gong are good people and live good lives. They are not involved in corruption and do not drink or gamble or do other bad things. My boss said, "You Falun Gong people are very poor. You have no money for anything. The CCP does not let you become an officer of the Party, how can you be part of their corruption?" I said, "We are living in poverty because of the persecution. The wicked police steal our money, seize our businesses for no reason, and fire us from our jobs with no justification. If the CCP did not persecute us, do you think that is what we would be like? Before the persecution, many Falun Gong practitioners were artists, PhDs, and entrepreneurs, who were very wealthy. The corrupt members of Jiang's regime embezzled the people's taxes, including your taxes."

After listening to me, my boss did not say anything. He looked down in silence, as if he suddenly understand something. At that moment I was sad. I wondered how many people in mainland China were like my boss and were deceived by the evil CCP's propaganda.

Master said, "A Dafa disciple completely opposes everything arranged by the evil old forces." (Dafa is Indestructible) Master also said, "Dafa disciples' performance in the human world is to be left for history." ("What Are Supernormal Abilities" from Essentials for Further Advancement II)

Through Fa study and sharing, I understand that Dafa disciples should not live in poverty. It does not conform to the principles of the universe, and it is not what Master wants. Dafa disciples' path today is to be left for future generations. Should we leave for future generations a cultivation path of being persecuted without reason, being looked down on by ordinary people, and living in poverty? No! Absolutely not! Therefore, we must not only deny the old forces' arrangement of physical persecution, but also deny the old forces' persecution of Dafa disciples' finances and reputations. We should send forth righteous thoughts to completely disintegrate the dark minions and rotten demons of the old forces and all aspects of their persecution of Dafa disciples.

We Dafa disciples should be financially well-off and prosperous. This is in line with the principles of the universe. We should not be obsessed with money nor miserly. We want to earn resources in order to help Dafa, save more sentient beings, and make good use of money in positive ways. This is the purpose of practitioners denying the old forces' financial persecution of Dafa disciples.
