(Clearwisdom.net) (By a correspondent from Changsha City, Human Province) After hearing that Ms. Tang Min, a librarian for Hunan Province Chinese Medicine University, was persecuted for her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Ms. Zhang Xinyi, 55, and Ms. He Minna, visited the administrative heads of the university, with the hope of persuading them to stop persecuting Ms. Tang. But the people they spoke with would not heed their kind advice, and instead reported them to the Hanpu Police Station in Wangcheng County, Changsha City.
When the police arrived, they arrested Ms. Zhang and Ms. He, and later that evening took them to the Hunan Province Legal Education Center (brainwashing center), where they remain to this day. In addition, officers from the State Security Division ransacked Ms. He's home. To protest her imprisonment and abuse, Ms. Zhang went on a hunger strike.
For the past ten years, the Hunan Chinese Medicine University, together with the local 610 Office, have regularly persecuted Ms. Tang. On several occasions, they took her to a mental hospital where she was injected with unknown drugs, causing severe damage to her central nervous system.
In May 2009, Ms. Tang was arrested by her employer for the fourth time and taken to the No. 3 Ward of the Hunan Province Mental Hospital, where she remains to this day. After years of being persecuted like this, Ms. Tang appears both pale and haggard.
The Human Province Legal Education Training Center specializes in brainwashing Falun Gong practitioners in Hunan Province. In a setting similar to that of a state prison, practitioners are forced to watch videos and read books that slander Falun Gong.
The personnel there use all kinds of torture methods to force practitioners to give up their faith. Practitioners with steadfast faith are transferred either to a labor camp or a mental hospital. In 2004, Ms. Tang was transferred directly from the Human Province Legal Education Training Center to a mental hospital.
Ms. Zhang Xinyi
Ms. Zhang Xinyi is a retired teacher. She was taken to the Laodaohe Brainwashing Center one month ago and held there for 24 hours. Agents from the Yunan Street Neighborhood Administration in Tianxin District, Changsha City, told her family members that they took her to the center because it was a sensitive date.
Ms. Zhang and her husband, Mr. Li Guojun, were pending asylees under the protection of the Union States Asylee Committee located in Khmer, Cambodia. But as a result of the intense pressure exerted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the Khmer administration eventually repatriated Ms. Zhang back to China, where she was repeatedly arrested and detained.
Over the past seven months, she was transferred more than eight times between the local police station, detention center, labor camp, brainwashing center, and to the Domestic Security Division of the Zhuzhou City Police Department.
