(Clearwisdom.net) Wang Junmei was illegally sent to a forced labor camp for three years, from 2002 till 2004. She was released only after she was tortured to the brink of death. Recently the police harassed her and ransacked her home again.
In August 2008, when the Olympics was held by the CCP, the Xinle Police Station local police and the neighborhood committees in the Daowai District were monitoring Wang from outside her house.
In February 2009, the CCP operatives in Harbin harassed Ms. Wang and ransacked her home. At that time, she was at her parents' house. The police took away her Falun Dafa books, Master Li's lecture CDs, Shen Yun Divine Performing Arts' VCDs, and other materials. The police called the Xinchun Police Station, which was in charge of her parents' residential district, to confirm that Wang Junmei was living there temporarily.
In 2009, during the so-called "sensitive dates" such as April 25th and July 20th, the police would park their cars outside of Ms. Wang's house. They also followed, monitored and harassed her.
Ms.Wang Junmei is a retired worker in Harbin Plastic Factory. In December 2002, she was arrested at Tiananmen Square and taken to the Qianmen Police Station for appealing for Falun Dafa. She was sent to several places, tortured, and ended up at the Harbin Office in Beijing. Director Wang from the local Xinle Police Station, policemen Chen and Yu Xue from Harbin Plastic Factory sent Wang Junmei back to the Harbin City No. 2 Detention Center. Wang Junmei was imprisoned for13 days, and was released after being forced to pay a fine of 1,000 yuan.
On March 21, 2002, Wang Junmei was arrested by Wang Yongji from the Xinle Police Station while she was passing out Falun Gong brochures. They took away her radio and Dafa books. Wang Junmei was sent to the Harbin City No.2 Detention Center.
On May 16, 2002, Wang Junmei was send to the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp to do forced labor for three years from March 22, 2002 to March 21, 2005. She was kept in Team 12 which specialized in persecuting Falun Gong. The team leader was Guo Qiuli. The police tortured Wang Junmei by aranging four or five people to slander Dafa and its founder out loud in turn. They kept her awake all the time. Wang Junmei would not give up her belief in Dafa, so they forced her to sit on a narrow chair for a long period. She was forced to do more work than anyone could even bear. Guard Gou Qiuli made her do a huge amount work. If she could not finish it, she would have to bring it back to her jail cell to finish it.
Wang Junmei was tortured to about 68 lbs in 2004. She was extremely feeble, and had serious illnesses. The Wanjia Forced Labor Camp released Ms.Wang on September 2, 2004. Ms. Wang's family spent more than 30,000 yuan at the hospital to rescue her life.
The Xinle Police Station cancelled Wang Junmei's residency card while she was in the hospital. When Wang Junmei asked for a new one, they asked her to sign the "transformation" document with her fingerprints. When Wang asked why, the police said, "You are a Falun Gong practitioner, we have to do terrible things to you for years." Ms. Wang does not have a registered residence.
When Wang Junmei was in prison, the police extorted more than 6,000 yuan from her family. The Harbin Plastic Factory subtracted 1,000 yuan from her salary. Her employer said it was the cost of bringing her back from Beijing. Also the factory pays retired workers 4,000 yuan for living expenses, but Ms. Wang did not get it due to her refusal to give up her belief in Dafa.
