(Clearwisdom.net) Columbus greeted the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) 2009 World Tour show with an appreciative audience at the Ohio Theater on March 8. People applauded continuously during three curtain calls, and when the curtain rose for the third time, they continued giving a standing ovation.

Among the audience was Stanley, who works in marketing, and his wife Tatiana, who is a tech designer with a major retailer. Stanley said, "The show is magnificent, it was absolutely beautiful." Tatiana agreed, saying, "It's phenomenal! It had a lot of energy, and it was just beautiful." She particularly noted, "The color brings a lot of energy to the show, and it's just very moving, really nice. It just goes very well together."

Stanley added, "I love the costumes. I think a lot of work went into it, and a lot of careful detail is accentuated and emphasized. It's a phenomenal culture. It's ancient. It comes across full of inspiration and with a truly divine approach to life. It has a lot of positive energy and leaves you with the will to live and to create." Tatiana went on to say, "It is great the way it's all integrated together, and it was presented in a way that is easy to comprehend. It was very nice."

Tatiana said, "I love the fans, and I liked the dancers with the colorful skirts--that was amazing. They had a lot of energy, and it was just beautiful." Stanley added, "I especially like the work with drums, and the male composition coming out with drums and how there is an integration of different groups of people, when one group joins the other, and it's all integrated with music and dance. It's very creative. Full of life, very historical, very cultural, very intense, and very beautiful." Tatiana then responded, "I think it shows how really rich the culture is and how magnificent it is. It touches on all aspects of life, it's just really impressive."

At intermission, audience members gladly offered their views. Among them was Mrs. Burkhart with daughter Grace, who both agreed that what they just saw "was very beautiful," and they both said they sat too far away to absorb every morsel.

Mrs. Burkhart, who manages a retail store, said, "The ending was very pretty," regarding the cosmic and earthly merging in a powerful vision of renewal. "Every story was filled with Chinese values, such as honor and dignity, that definitely showed in the dance and the storytelling."

Technical Engineer: "It's really hard to find a flaw. It was so professional."

Also in the audience were Michiyo, a business training coordinator, and Ashok, a technical engineer. Both were in awe of the world-class presentation. "It was great. The dance was awesome. I liked the Chinese girls' dance. It's kind of more natural, smooth... synchronizing, the dance," Ashok said.

Michiyo said, "I like the costumes, the colors are awesome, good color combinations. It's very beautiful." Ashok then said, "Mind blowing, the dance part." Michiyo added, "When you dance and turn around, it's like a flower! That was very impressive."

When asked what made the biggest impression, Michiyo said, "It's really hard to say. Everything. I've been to lots of dance events and performances. I really liked the colors, and how they figure out the shape we can make by dancing."

Ashok said, "It was awesome, especially the girls, how they form as a group, the flowers they showed. It's really hard to find a flaw. It was so professional. We really liked it."

Family: "It's allowed us to take some of the culture--and share it with the children here. That's neat."

Business owners Sheirrie and Debbie brought their adopted daughter Jillian, of Chinese descent, to see the show. All three were thrilled about the show. "It's been wonderful actually--very educational and she [Jillian] is enjoying it tremendously with the culture and learning more about the culture and all the colors," Sheirrie said.

Debbie added, "The dancers were just wonderful. The imagery with the stories--that's what makes it the best. The imagery, the story they are telling and the imagery within the dance."

Young Jillian liked "the one with the fans." "Actually, that's one of the best parts about it--I think we've learned about the culture, things that we didn't know like..." Jillian added, "...where the angels came."

Debbie said, "The story of the monk was something that we didn't know much about. That was something very exciting too--so we can continue to teach her. I think its something else, it is 'divine' like they say."
