(Clearwisdom.net) Although many people say it's hard to run a business these days as the competition is fierce, my business has been doing well. Many of the competitors in the same profession would come to ask me what "special tricks" I use. To be honest, I don't have any special tricks. At first, I thought maybe I "was born with it" as Teacher mentioned in the Fa or maybe it was because I have accumulated a lot of virtue in my previous lives. I treat these things as trivial things and am very clear the reason why I have come to the human world. For all these years, I have continued to do everything a Dafa disciple should do, especially the three things that Teacher requests.

Recently after reading practitioners' experience-sharing articles and studying the Fa, I suddenly realized the reason why my business is so successful. Before the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecuted Falun Gong, I did not focus my energy on how to run my business well, but focused more on how to promote the Fa, assist in establishing exercise centers, and contact others to get Dafa materials for our local area. Because I mainly focused on this, I was very busy. My business was handled by my employees and I was rarely involved. When promoting the Fa, I met many people. This indirectly benefited my business. Later, after I realized that my cultivation was not for my business, I used all of my energy on spreading Dafa. That met Teacher's requirements for practitioners on spreading the Fa.

Since the CCP began its persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, I have always taken clarifying the truth to save sentient beings as an important mission. At first I clarified the truth to my friends and relatives. Later, I would talk to people in large groups and help them quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Whenever I meet a stranger, my first thought is how to clarify the truth to him/her. When I see lots of cars or people on the street, I will send righteous thoughts, "Put 'Falun Dafa is Good' and 'Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is Good' into their heads so that they can be saved when Dafa spreads!" When my competitors or new customers come to my business, the first thing I do is clarify the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution, and help them quit the CCP. Then we'll talk about business. Because I start from this basis, Teacher leads people with a predestined relationship to me. This naturally brings some indirect benefit to my business. If I put my business first and treat saving sentient beings as something non-essential, or wait until business gets better to start saving sentient beings, I will be at the "qi's" level. I will be using human methods to try to solve human problems, and I will not be following Teacher's Fa-rectification progress.

I think as Dafa disciples, we should learn how to truly let go of the attachment to one's own gain or loss. Especially when business is not good, we should carefully think it over: Have I followed Teacher's requirements? How much have I done? How much have I missed? Have I used all of my potential? In my heart, what is most important? When we truly stand on the basis of saving sentient beings, all of our things will be fine. All of the good fortune will come to us without notification. However, we are not attached to anything we get. I have also seen an issue - many practitioners do not dare to clarify the truth at their own business because they are afraid of being exposed or even persecuted. Actually I don't think this will happen because Teacher told us that the old forces dare not touch us when we clarify the truth. The key is not to have human notions. For all these years, what I do foremost is clarify the truth or help people to quit the CCP. The end result has been very good.

I wrote this article to share with those practitioners who work very hard and become exhausted with their own business; we should follow Teacher's Fa-rectification progress and righteously position our starting point.
