(Clearwisdom.net) After concluding two shows in Tokyo, Divine Performing Arts (DPA) International Company arrived in Nagoya, home of Toyota automobiles.

Korean Dancer Keen to Tell Her Teacher about DPA 'Sensation'

Korean dancer Sun-Ok Hwang, who is currently staying in Japan, saw the Nagoya show and was inspired by the experience. "I learned Korean dance, but DPA colors, the flow of programs, costumes, as well as music, were very beautiful."

Ms. Hwang started learning Korean dance when she was nine, and became a member of the Korean Dance Research Institute's Asuka Dance Troupe. She is a proud student of the famous Korean folk dancer Hwi-Seon Gang.

She said she would tell her teacher in Osaka about the night's "sensation" and will tell her not to miss the Osaka show on February 18.

Mr. Nakatomi, who accompanied Ms. Hwang, said, "It is beyond my imagination; it was so touching."

Ms. Hwang liked Dance of the Snow-Capped Mountain and The Udumbara's Bloom the most. She said that Dance of the Snow-Capped Mountain shows men's masculinity, while The Udumbara's Bloom shows women's femininity.

Music Box Restorer: The world needs shows like the DPA

In the 19th century, when music boxes were first invented in Europe, they became luxurious treasures for many collectors. Nowadays, few people are capable of repairing and restoring these antiques. Among the experts is Norio Isogai.

For his love of traditional arts, he attended a world-class cultural show, Divine Performing Arts (DPA) 2009 World Tour, at Aichi Prefectural Art Theater Concert Hall in Nagoya on February 13.

Mr. Isogai said he had enjoyed all aspects of the show but was in awe of the four vocalists in DPA.

"The entire performance leaves a very joyful feeling. First of all, the dances have an overall beauty. The softness and gentleness left a deep impression. The songs, both the technique and volume, are very high level. The last alto (Jiansheng Yang) has a very low voice for a woman; her voice is in between a man and a woman."

"The content is very good. I think that's the way it should be. Nowadays people over-emphasize the value of money. It seems as if in the society, as long as one is in luxury, everything else does not matter. We cannot lose the compassionate hearts that gods created for us. They should be kept forever and ever. Even when humans lose them, they should find them again."

He said that DPA's success was due to its display of spirituality. Especially at such a time marked by financial downturn, the world needs arts like DPA.

"This time is filled with numerous negative things. As those things accumulate, mankind will further decline. That's the effect of this material world. Yet when you walk in the realm of arts, you will start to feel very tiny".

Mr Isogai said the DPA had created similar heightened feelings to those he experienced when he was in touch with nature.

"When I used to feel down, I would look up at the stars; the star-studded sky was so beautiful back then, yet recently you can no longer see stars. Back then whenever I wasn't feeling well, I would look at the stars, look at the sea, look at the mountains -- I felt tiny. And since I was tiny, those worries became even smaller and insignificant.

"I never thought that I would have this good feeling again, but I experienced tonight at the DPA, in the world of arts. I didn't have to go to the sea, go to the mountains. Arts are great. Particularly during these times, it appears to be more significant and more meaningful. It's a wonderful thing. I will be very confident and glad to share my experience at this show with those around me," he concluded.

Chinese student: I never saw such a good show in China

Mr. Zheng and Miss Li are Chinese students in Nagoya. They were excited after watching the DPA show, "We are very fortunate to watch the show."

Mr. Zheng is from Wuhan, China was excited after hearing about the show and bought two tickets for himself and his friend, "I did not expect that the show would be so beautiful."

Miss Li said she liked the program on Falun Gong, "I never saw such a beautiful show in China." Mr. Zheng believes that the persecution of Falun Gong is wrong.

He admired that the performers hard work, "They must change costumes quickly and dance in so many programs. They continued smiling on stage. I was touched." He said, "I want to watch the next two shows in Osaka."

Chinese man: The show presents Chinese traditional culture

Mr. Wu Yongjun, a Chinese working in Nagoya, watched the DPA on February 13. He regretted that he missed the show last year. He said, "I am astonished. I have seen such a great show. All programs are great since they present Chinese traditional culture. No matter dancing, or solo, all are touching."

Mr. Wu came to Japan to study and worked in Nagoya after graduation. He understood the warning in the program Monk Ji abducts a bride, "The story of Monk Ji, I believe it."

He was impressed with the Tibeten and Mongolian dancing. He said, "I saw Yi dancing in China. But I never saw such a pure and natural performance as in DPA show."

Mr. Wu said he was touched at the program Mulan Joins Army, "The Chinese Communist Party has ruled China for near sixty years, so the traditional concept of filial piety has been disappearing in China. Watching such a program is touching." He said, "I hope DPA can perform in China."

Chinese high school student: The program Monk Ji abducts a bride touched me.

A high school student, Mr. Qiu, recently came to Japan from Dalian, China. He watched the show with his mother.

He said what he was touched most was Monk Ji abducts a bride, "I was touched very much by this program. I understand that there was some indication or principles in the program." Mr. Qiu admired at the performers, "DPA promotes Chinese traditional culture. I think they are doing a great job."

After watching the program Heaven awaits us despite persecution, he came to understand some fact though he was deceived by CCP lies in China. He said, "Though I am not so clear about Falun Gong, I think that it is good to give one a spiritual belief. I think following Falun Gong's principle 'Truth-Compassion-Forbearance' to be a good person will have a good outcome."
