(Clearwisdom.net) (By a Minghui/Clearwisdom correspondent from Hebei Province) During the Beijing 2008 Olympics, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) brutally persecuted Dafa practitioners under the pretext of "security for the Olympics." This round of persecution caused Dafa practitioners and their families tremendous hardship and injury.

Ms. Wang Shuye, in her sixties, lived in Huai'an Town, Huan'an County. She was consistently persecuted by CCP due to her firm faith in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. On the evening of July 22, 2008, while she was making purchases in a grocery store, CCP personnel in Huai'an Town broke into her home and took away her Dafa books and a satellite antenna. When Ms. Wang returned home, another three CCP members came to ask her for her identity card. She told them that she could not find it after her house collapsed. So the CCP personnel left. The next day, Ms. Wang went to Zhang Lijun's home (Zhang Lijun was an officer in Huan'an County), hoping to find out why her personal property had been taken away. Zhang was not at home, so Ms. Wang took this opportunity to clarify the facts about Falun Gong to his wife. His wife pretended to agree with Ms. Wang; however, she told the whole story to Zhang as soon as Ms. Wang left. Afterwards, Zhang reported to the Huan'an County officials that Ms. Wang went to his home looking for Dafa books.

While on her way to her son's home on the morning of July 25, 2008, Ms. Wang was seen by Ren Fengmei, a town representative. Ren called Li Dengquan, the CCP secretary of the No. 5 Division Village (Yongning Street), and lied about Ms. Wang having fled her home. The reason that Ren lied was because of an event in 2001, when Ren was running a brainwashing session in No. 4 Village. During that time, Ren Fengmei forced Ms. Wang Shuye and another practitioner to come and take the session. Ms. Wang refused to pay any extortion fees for the food she ate while at the brainwashing facility, so Ren harbored resentment against her.

One day when Ms. Wang was eating under a tree at her son's home, four policemen came up unexpectedly. They dragged her away from the tree, forced her to the ground, handcuffed her arms behind her back, and dragged her out of her son's home. Her grandson was so scared that he cried loudly. Ms. Wang shouted firmly, "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. You've deliberately broken the law. You've infringed on my human rights. Let me go!" However, the policemen still dragged her to their police car and drove Ms. Wang to her home. They saw that the door was locked, so they took a rock to crush the door lock. They tried several times but could not force it open. Then, one policeman broke a window, and another ordered that Ms. Wang give them her key. She refused to give it to him, so he forcibly searched her and found the key to open the door. After entering her home, the policemen combed through Ms. Wang's home and pulled out the lock at the back door. They didn't find anything useful to them, so they sent Ms. Wang to the police station.

Before Wang Shuye's arrest, there were already two other Dafa practitioners, both of them women, under arrest in the police station. The policemen registered their names, as well as Ms. Wang's, and pushed the three ladies into a police car. In the car, the practitioners still tried to talk to the policemen about Falun Gong, and then called out loudly, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." However, not only did the policemen not listen to them, but they also abused the women. One of the policemen even gave Ms. Wang a slap in the face. After arriving at Chaigoubao County, the three practitioners underwent a physical examination. Then the authorities sent them to the Zhangjiakou Brainwashing Center in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. On the way there, Ms. Wang and another Dafa practitioner fainted. The policemen were afraid of taking any responsibility for this, so they drove them back home without saying a word.

Three days later, Hou Guodong from Huai'an County Police Station and other CCP members came to Ms. Wang Shuye's home to make up a detention statement, and they asked her husband to sign it. Hou verbally abused Ms. Wang for not being "cooperative" and ordered her to stay at home. He threatened her, saying that if she went out, they would send her to the hospital for persecution. Ms. Wang asked him why he declared that she was not "cooperative." She asserted that it was not against any law for her to go to her son's home. Finally, Hou and the other CCP members left without saying anything further.

During that period, Ms. Wang endured hardships at home for over fifty days because CCP personnel came to her home to harass her every other day. They wanted to make sure that she was at home and not going out clarifying the facts about Falun Gong and exposing the persecution. For a year, her heart was heavy and she lived under the oppressive shadow of the CCP's persecution.
