(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Li is a middle-aged Dafa practitioner. Although she retired years ago, she made a lasting good impression with her supervisors and colleagues.

Ms. Li began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. She shouldered the responsibility of providing materials for the practice site and played exercise music for practitioners every day. Early in the morning, Ms. Li and her husband, who is also a Dafa practitioner, carried a big bag full of Dafa books to the practice site.

At her workplace, everyone respected Ms. Li. The following is just one example.

It used to be that the bathroom at the workplace was so dirty that there was no place to stand. No matter how much effort the supervisor put into motivating people to clean it, no one was willing to do so. After seeing this, Ms. Li volunteered to clean the bathroom.

The first day when she was cleaning the bathroom, the waste was everywhere. She and another practitioner filled many buckets with used toilet paper and hauled it out of the bathroom. They hosed down and mopped the bathroom until it was clean. With their efforts, the previously filthy bathroom became very clean. From then on, Ms. Li took the responsibility of keeping the bathroom clean, and she did so for ten years. Her supervisor was touched by this, and persisted in raising her salary.

Ms. Li diligently follows the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. No matter how much she sacrificed, she never cared about loss and gain. She thus received deserved praise from her supervisors and colleagues.

Ms. Li worked in a print shop. Every day before work the staff in charge of distributing paper always gave out a set amount of paper. They set a strict rule on the amount of paper distributed, to prevent embezzlement and waste, however they never applied this rule to Ms. Li and a few other Dafa practitioners, since they trusted them. They knew that Dafa practitioners would never take advantage of public property, and if there was paper left, practitioners would return it without keeping a single piece of paper for themselves.

After the persecution against Falun Gong started, whenever the local police went to Ms. Li's workplace to harass her, her supervisors always defended her. Later, she was arrested on her way to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and was illegally detained in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. While she was there, her supervisors took care of her job, not letting others take over. Since Ms. Li's position was good, someone tried to bribe her supervisor to get it, but her supervisor still held the position for her, since he was afraid there might not be a good one for Ms. Li when she came back. Her supervisor waited until she was released from the labor camp, and then handed the job over to her.

When Ms. Li retired, her supervisor extended the employment for her and the other Dafa practitioners. But he did not hire any of the non-practitioner retired workers.
