(Clearwisdom.net) The second show of Divine Performing Arts' Mid-Autumn Spectacular was held at John Bassett Theatre in Toronto on September 25. The content of the show touched people's hearts.
Dr. Waterman: "The show is great. The music, dances and costumes were all wonderful."
Jeff Bowers: "Spirituality was manifested through art."
Ms. Fern Waterman, a doctor, was happy to have seen the show. "The music, dances and costumes were all wonderful. I also noticed that human rights and Falun Gong principles were manifested in the show, and the audience was vert accepting. This is very important. As a doctor, I knew about the organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China. There's more to be done. More people should step forward to protect our values," she said.
Jeff Bowers, an IT engineer, liked every aspect of the show. He praised the Mongolian Dance and the drum dances. He said he learned about Chinese culture from the show. "One special aspect of the show is that spirituality was manifested through art. The main theme of show, which is encouraging, is that good always defeats evil."
Wen Yishan, deputy chair of the Canadian Multicultural Association: "The good side of humanity was manifested by the show."
Wen Yishan, deputy chair of the Canadian Multicultural Association, has seen the Divine Performing Arts show four times. He had high praise for it. "The young generation of Chinese can learn about our culture from it. The show also has a deep impact on Western society," he said. "The good side of humanity was manifested by the show, for example, in the performance about Falun Gong."
Gene Velcoff, an artist, came to the show with friends. She saw an advertisement for the show in a subway station. She said, "It was so beautiful. The dances were wonderful. The elegant movements, colorful costumes and background scene formed pretty pictures."
Sandra Ashford, also an artist, expressed the same feeling, saying that she would recommend the show to her friends.
