New York: The Divine Performing Arts Honored with Warm Welcome Upon their Return to the US (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 20, 2008 at 5:00 p.m., the Divine Performing Arts touring company was welcomed back at New York's Kennedy Airport with much honor. Local residents presented floral bouquets to the group as well as colorful balloons and banners with messages of warm welcome. As the group appeared in front of the exuberant crowd, they were greeted with applause and cheers.

In their two-month tour of Europe, the Divine Performing Arts touring company presented 45 shows in 18 cities, enchanting audiences everywhere, and touching the hearts of countless people. Interference from the Chinese Communist Party, instead of being a deterrent, contributed to the Divine Performing Arts' shows as effective advertisement, and drew more people to enjoy the remarkable experience of Divine Performing Arts.

Concluding its European tour, the Divine Performing Arts touring company received a warm welcome upon their return to the US

The final shows of the tour in Prinzregenten Theatre in Munich, were met with overwhelming applause from an audience of both Chinese and Western heritage. The event pushed the Divine Performing Arts to a rousing climax, and brought the European tour to a wonderful conclusion.

Tour leader and renowned dancer Guo Xiu said that the European audiences were extremely enthusiastic, and even the most discerning audiences in Germany gave the show nearly continuous applause. Each part of the production was enthusiastically received, including the stage designs, performance techniques, and the show's content. Ms. Guo said, "The programs concerning Falun Gong were received with enthusiastic applause, and some audience members shed tears as they watched these pieces. At times we had to bow twice or three times at the curtain call. In attending cocktail parties, our youngest performer who is only 7 or 8 years of age, would tell government officials that the dance she performs is against the persecution, which is currently taking place in China."

Ms. Guo also said that in the cities where interference from the Chinese Communist regime was most prevalent, the shows were even more outstandingly successful. She said that the performers maintained high spirits, and performed with full attentiveness, thus the effect of their performance was always exceptional. The piece, "Drummers of the Tang Court" was especially praised. "Commentaries on 'The Drummers of the Tang Court' were not only for its dance technique, but people felt its heroic spirit. We have brought true Chinese traditional culture to New York, and the truth of Falun Gong to the European audience."

From this weekend on, the Divine Performing Arts touring company will visit four major cities in the central US. Performance times and locations are:

Meanwhile the sister company, Divine Performing Arts of New York, has traveled from New Zealand to Hawaii, and will also perform in the following cities in North America:

Divine Performing Arts Inaugural Show in Milan Touches the Hearts of Many Chinese People (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net)

In the evening on April 15, 2008, the Divine Performing Arts presented its inaugural show at Allianza Teatra in Milan, the second largest city in Italy. When all the performers gathered on stage to bow to the audience at the end of the show, a Western woman hurried up to the stage with a bouquet of flowers in her hands and blew the performers a kiss. She praised the Chinese Spectacular for its interpretation of the Oriental Divine culture. It drew sustained, thunderous applause.

In Milan, the birthplace of the Renaissance and the home of opera, the Divine Performing Arts touched the hearts of the locals, who have discriminating taste in art. Their warm applause expressed their appreciation of the DPA. The Spectacular also attracted many local Chinese, both visitors from China and new Chinese immigrants. They enjoyed the fine, graceful performances very much and were of the opinion that the beauty the Divine Performing Arts presented is the real essence of the traditional Chinese culture.

Art Teacher: All the Performances Were Very Good

After the show, art teacher Mr. Song held up his thumb in approval. When asked which performance he liked most he replied, "They were all very good, especially the dances, which can purify people's hearts and spread the traditional culture of humankind. All the programs were good."

Ms. Yu, who recently came to Italy from China, saw the Spectacular with her elder sister. She was very pleased and said she loved every performance as well as the backdrop, "All those who came to this show are really fortunate!" Her sister said she was moved to tears from the very first performance.

Ms. Mao came to the show with her four-year old daughter. She said with a smile, "My younger daughter Giulian wanted to see the Spectacular after she learned about it from a flyer. All the programs are good, much better than I had expected. Of course, I liked the dances the best and I also liked the drums."

An Italian Chinese: A Show That Really Displays Chinese History

Mr. Luigi Hu is a senior executive of a famous Italian bank, Intesa Sanpaolo. His father was Chinese and his mother Italian, but his father basically had nothing to do with China whatsoever and did not even speak Chinese. Mr. Hu's father died more than 10 years ago. The sudden death of his father made him realize that his last connection with China had been cut off. At that point, Mr. Hu began to study Chinese and Chinese history, the culture as well as some Buddhism. He even went to China three times to "search for his roots".

Senior Executive of Intesa Sanpaola Bank, Mr. Luigi Hu said, "This show displays the real Chinese history. It unfolds the most beautiful Chinese culture and history and it is a condensation and a summary of Chinese history from ancient times to the present."

Because of this motivation to "search for his roots," Mr. Hu paid close attention to everything related to China. The Divine Performing Arts' inaugural show in Milan naturally became his indispensable "visit to China."

Mr. Hu said, "Watching the Chinese Spectacular made me feel as if I had returned home. I discovered from the show Chinese history, culture, and the Buddha Dharma that I have studied. The show also displayed the events that happened in different historical periods from Huangdi (the Yellow Emperor) (The Yellow Emperor was the first sovereign of civilized China and is recognized as the common ancestor of the Chinese people.), from the origins of Chinese civilization to modern times. This is a show that unfolds the true Chinese history. It has fully displayed the most beautiful Chinese culture and history and it is a condensation and a summary of Chinese history from ancient times to the present."

Mr. Hu expressed his sympathy to Falun Gong practitioners who are being persecuted in China. "The entire show is very good. It is very beautiful and I liked the 'Tang Dynasty Court Drummers.' The programs depicting the persecution of Falun Gong deeply touched me. I could not help feeling sad that such a thing is still happening in China."

Mr. Hu said he would tell all his friends about the Chinese Spectacular, "I will tell everyone about the show. It has far-reaching significance, will make people think deeply, and they can learn a lot. It is a show that helps to restore Chinese culture.

Renowned Chinese Author: Proud of the Show

(Clearwisdom.net) Susan, a young Chinese woman who attended the performance with her German husband, saw the Chinese Spectacular by Divine Performing Arts on Tour at the Prince Regent Theater in Munich. She said with excitement, "I was sleepless last night. I was waiting and waiting. Finally I saw the performance today."

On the afternoon of April 19, Divine Performing Arts on Tour gave a performance in Munich, Germany as its final show on the European leg of the tour for this year. An appreciative audience applauded warmly time and again during the performance.

When Susan heard that the Divine Performing Arts show would be coming to Munich, she bought tickets for her family and her children's teachers. She was so excited that she couldn't sleep the night before. She sat in the very front row and could clearly see every performer. Susan said, "Every one of them is beautiful. Because I sat directly in front of them, I could see the love on their faces, their truth, compassion and beauty. I was so touched that I almost jumped up in my seat."

Divine Performing Arts has been touring the world to promote traditional Chinese culture. Susan was moved by their commitment. She said, "I liked every performance. Those artists are really marvelous. They travel the whole world to spread the Chinese culture and I was touched by the performance... Like the drums--with the striking of the drums, they expressed the inner feelings of Chinese people."

"After the Show, I Felt My Whole Body Was Light"

Ms. Liang Xiuyun from China came to see the show with some local Chinese friends. One of her German friends saw the ads on TV and told her about the show. This was the first time she had watched a Divine Performing Arts show. She said that she had never seen such a wonderful performance.

Ms. Liang had a Chinese herbal and Western medicine business in China that closed down due to corrupt officials. Five years ago, she came to Munich from Guangzhou Province. She said that the performances were full of truth, and what they presented was true. "I have never seen such shows in China. In China the performances were about war and fighting." She said, "Every performance was good and moved people's hearts. I have never experienced this. This morning I felt a bit sick. After the show I felt my whole body was light."

Renowned Chinese Author: I Saw a Show that Would Otherwise Not Be Seen"

Yu Luojin, a renowned Chinese author now living in Germany, said with tears in her eyes, "I am so glad I came to watch this show, which I wouldn't have been destined to see otherwise. In the past, the performances were in Berlin, and it was too far from Passau. This time the newspaper said it was in Munich. I immediately booked two of the best seats."

She said that she had never seen such good shows in China. "Regardless of whether it was dancing or singing, I liked them all. The Erhu performance was especially good. All of the performances were good. The two hosts and their explanations were very good as well."

She said that the shows she saw in China were full of propaganda. "The so-called Spring Festival Evening Shows made me feel uncomfortable and I thought that things shouldn't be like that. Today's Divine Performing Arts shows are very Chinese and are about pure Chinese culture. It is really good."

Speaking of the performances, Ms. Yu continued, "When I saw the one with Falun Dafa ('The Risen Lotus Flower'), I cried. And also 'The Power of Awareness.' I liked those two performances the best. Their 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance' message can unite everyone. When I watched 'The Power of Awareness,' I clapped wholeheartedly because I think people should become more aware."

Ms. Yu's brother Yu Luoke was killed by the CCP because of his famous book, "On Family Background" written during the Cultural Revolution. When she watched "The Risen Lotus Flower," which described the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in prisons and reminded her of the persecution of her brother, she said, "I was crying as I was watching. This performance is really good. It is most important that human beings value virtue. I am very proud of the show. It will be very good if they could present the show all around the world non-stop."

Young Entrepreneur: "The Chinese culture should be kept alive" (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Ada-Jasmin Kindermann, a young entrepreneur whose mother is from Taiwan, labels herself as having grown up in a "bi-cultural environment" and feels connected to China's culture. She regrets that the original tradition was not passed on to the young people in modern China.

"The children are very spoiled and parents neglect to teach their children about Chinese culture and tradition. This can be seen in the working life. Many Chinese no longer recognize traditional Chinese characters," said Kindermann.

She continued, "Calligraphy and also traditional Chinese Medicine -- these doctors are dying off, because there is no one left to whom they can pass it on. Today's young people are no longer interested."

Given this background, she greatly appreciated the Chinese Spectacular. She attended the show on April 18th in the Munich Prinzregententheater. She hopes that with this show and further popularity in foreign countries, Chinese culture will be kept alive. She herself said that the show was an absolutely fantastic experience and something totally exceptional.

"I can only recommend this show to everyone, ask them to go and see this show, because one learns so much about Chinese culture. One is presented with much historical information from different regions in China and I must say again that this is an awesome experience. Absolutely wonderful," said Ms. Kindermann.

The most interesting portion of the performance was the scene about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. She said, "I must say that I find this a very interesting and successful potpourri, especially since the audience is presented with scenes depicting happenings from different centuries and also from the present. The audience will learn about Chinese tradition and culture."

We Live in a Free Country and we can Experience the Freedom of the Art

Also Christiane Adamek and Lutz Scheicher, member of the Munich FDP [Free Democratic Party (Germany)] District Council (The Liberals) were in the audience of the Chinese Spectacular show in Munich. They both were very enthusiastic about what they had seen.

"It was absolutely awesome and very impressive," said Adamek.

They will remember the beautiful picture of the "Nymphs of the Sea," the subtlety and the gentleness, the musical interpretation, and overall the beautiful and graceful dances.

Both had heard about the pressure on the organizers by the Chinese Consulate. Scheicher also is quite aware of the difficulties faced by the Falun Gong practitioners in Munich.

'They demonstrate outside the consulate and have been ejected, although they only sit there and hold a banner in front of them," he reported.

He appreciates the determination by the concert agents who were not influenced by telephone calls telling them to cancel the performance.

"I find it very good that they did not give in to the pressure and let the show go on. The performance was excellent and very well attended. There will be a second show tomorrow and I will call tomorrow at least two or three friends and recommend that they come and see this show," he said.

He believed that the reason for the Chinese Consulate trying to exert pressure was their demand to be granted "sole right to represent China," while the Chinese Spectacular does not allow the Chinese party culture to exert any influence over its performance.

Adamek stated that the attempt by the Consulate to have the show canceled was "disgusting."

"We live in a free country and we have the freedom for the arts. And this show is truly art. And one should present all people the opportunity to come and see the show and judge for themselves. One should not have the right to forbid it beforehand. I'm completely against this," said Adamek.

In the end, the Consulate achieved the opposite from what it attempted. With its demands for banning the show, it advertised the show.

Scheicher wants to tell the Chinese regime to stop persecuting Falun Gong, "In particular, one should stop arresting Falun Gong practitioners, stop discriminating against them, and so on. We know that there are concentration camps in China and China should dismantle them."

"We wish China lots of success and luck -- but definitely in freedom," he said.

Commemorating the April 25th Appeal

The April 25th Appeal Cannot Be Construed as Grounds for Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Editor's Note: To commemorate the ninth anniversary of the April 25 Appeal, Clearwisdom presents this as one of a series of republished articles from years past. The April 25th Appeal was notable not only for its size, but also because it was remarkably peaceful and orderly. Some 10,000 practitioners gathered in central Beijing that day, peacefully protesting for their civil rights. The CCP propaganda machine, however, in its quest to crush Falun Gong at the bidding of then Party Chairman Jiang Zemin, twisted the facts to serve its own motives. To this day, CCP propaganda accuses Falun Gong of "laying seige to the Zhongnanhai Central Government Compound" on April 25, 1999, falsely alleging that the 10,000 gathered posed a violent threat to the nation and its leaders. Nothing could be further from the truth, of course, as this series of articles documents from various angles.

On April 25, 1999, about ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners went to the Appeals Office of the State Council in Beijing, requesting the authorities to grant them a free and legitimate environment for their practice, which became the well-known "April 25th Mass Appeal". As the petitioning crowds were later led by the police to the vicinity of Zhongnanhai, the office and residential compound for China's top leaders, some also have called it the "April 25th Zhongnanhai Incident." Many people believed that the persecution of Falun Gong would not have happened were it not for the April 25th Appeal. But actually that view does not hold.

First, the suppression of Falun Gong started several years prior to the April 25th Appeal. In July 1996, China News Press, a government news publisher, took administrative measures to confiscate Falun Gong books and ordered that no publishers would be allowed to publish books introducing Falun Gong. While numerous state-run newspapers and journals carried articles slandering Falun Gong, not a single article defending Falun Gong was allowed to be published. In July 1998, China's Ministry of Public Security decided in an internal document to ban Falun Gong. In other words, the suppression of Falun Gong had long been premeditated and was not ignited by the April 25th Appeal.

Secondly, the Chinese communist regime has never needed legitimate grounds to attack and persecute any civil group. The regime did not have any legitimate reasons when it suppressed landlords, businessmen, and intellectuals. Excuses such as "[landlords] took lands, [businessmen] were bursting with wealth, and [intellectuals] had too free a mind" were all absurdities concocted when they did not have any legitimate reasons. The April 25th Appeal was also used by the regime to justify its persecution. Even if the April 25th appeal had not occurred, the communist regime in China could have created other grounds for persecution all the same. The fact is, before the April 25th Appeal, the Chinese communist regime had anticipated that Falun Gong practitioners would resort to petitions after practitioners in Tianjin City were beaten and illegally arrested by police, an incident incited by the authorities. The regime could have stopped Falun Gong practitioners from going to the Appeals Office in Beijing if it had wanted to. Instead the Jiang clique employed the trick of "abetting practitioners" and the Tianjin police even explicitly told practitioners to go to Beijing to "resolve their grievances." So, in a sense, the April 25th incident was masterminded single-handedly by the Chinese communist regime itself.

Thirdly, in any case, the April 25th petition can never be the grounds for persecution. In China, appealing to higher authorities is a legitimate right laid down in law. Falun Gong practitioners went to appeal on April 25, 1999 only after they had been defamed and wronged, so their petition was completely sensible, legitimate, and reasonable. Having a large number of people is not a legitimate reason for persecution. In 2001, more than 20 thousand people from about ten organizations and groups were protesting near the White House when President Bush's inauguration was being held. On September 24, 2005, tens of thousands of protesters were holding demonstrations against the war in Iraq in Washington, D.C. Besides, in the April 25th Appeal, the peaceful and rational Falun Gong practitioners had been quiet and orderly, and did not disrupt the public order or people's daily life. They dispersed quietly when they received a reply to their requests. In any truly democratic country, such a peaceful and cooperative demeanor would have been appreciated instead of persecuted.

It is true that many Chinese have no way of speaking up for themselves and upholding their rights when their rights are abused. But that is no reason for chiding Falun Gong practitioners for speaking the truth and upholding their legitimate rights on April 25, 1999. It is even less reasonable to approve of the Chinese communist regime for its using the incident as grounds for persecution. If one does not stand up when his right to believe in the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and the right to become a good person are deprived, is he still worth living as a human being? Is there any hope for such a state? And is there any future for such a nation?

During decades of rule by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), fear has been sown deep in the people's minds. Deeply poisoned by the CCP's party culture, many people are afraid of being persecuted and ostensibly show their trust in the CCP. Some people blindly believe that the CCP is definitely correct and whatever the CCP says is true. Others are willing to always be in line with the CCP and follow it in fighting anything that is against the CCP, regardless of whether it is right or wrong. With such a mindset brainwashed by the party culture, many Chinese have lost their own judgment and have become slaves to the CCP and prisoners of the party culture.

From this perspective, the April 25th Appeal not only showed Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful and rational demeanor, but more importantly, it shed light on how people can free themselves from the prison of the party culture, find their true selves and recover their right to be a human being. This is something one should be clear about at a time when people are reflecting more and more upon the CCP's history and China is moving toward a peaceful transition.

Bearing Witness to History: April 25, 1999

Tens of thousands of Falun Dafa practitioners went to peacefully appeal to the State Council Appeals Office in Beijing. With this peaceful act, Falun Dafa disciples confirmed their steadfastness in "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance," and demonstrated their trust in the Chinese government.

The rogue political regime controlled by Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan turned this peaceful appeal into something that it wasn't, claiming falsely that practitioners had "besieged" the central government's Zhongnanhai compound. And why? They wanted to twist the peaceful appeal to their own ends, using it as "justification" for the brutal persecution of Falun Dafa.

The Police Herded Falun Dafa Practitioners toward the State Council Appeals Office

On April 25, 1999, around 7 a.m., fellow Dafa practitioners and I took a bus to Fuyou Street. We noticed many policemen guarded the access to Fuyou Street, as well as nearby streets. The policemen then proceeded to block Fuyou Street to prevent Falun Dafa practitioners from going south on Fuyou Street. Consequently, Falun Dafa practitioners patiently waited on the sidewalk for the blockade to be over. Beyond that, the traffic was not impeded.

At around 8 a.m., the policemen steered Falun Dafa practitioners toward the south end of Fuyou Street. As I stood very near the blockade, I walked in the front of the crowd. Once we arrived in the middle of Fuyou Street, we halted and merged with another group of Falun Dafa practitioners who the police had directed from the south end of Fuyou Street. We waited again for our turn to appeal at the State Councils Appeal Office on both sidewalks of Fuyou Street. Other than that, the traffic on Fuyou Street was not impeded. The Number 14 bus drove along Fuyou Street as usual. The passersby walked on the sidewalks of Fuyou Street as usual [because we intentionally occupied only a small area of the sidewalk.]

After a while, the police directed Falun Dafa practitioners from the east to the west side of the sidewalk. Shortly afterwards the police re-directed all the Falun Dafa practitioners to move to the east side. In less than half an hour, the police asked everyone to move back to the west side, and we remained there until the appeal was over.

Soon after we arrived on the west side, the police blockaded the east side with different kinds of police cars. Later the police formed a line-up on the west side. They stood only a few steps from each other, facing the Falun Dafa practitioners on the east sidewalk. Consequently, the Number 14 bus had to make a detour. Except for that, people still walked or rode bicycles on Fuyou Street. All normal daily activities continued.

Now, come to think of it, it was the police that controlled the situation. They synchronized the timing, route, and the waiting area for the Falun Dafa practitioners who came to appeal at the State Council Appeals Office on April 25, 1999. Yet, the rogue political regime controlled by Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan informed the public that this peaceful appeal was a siege of Zhongnanhai." He proceeded to use this as his excuse to persecute Falun Dafa.

This cunning lie is hereby declared to be evidence that the Jiang and Luo-controlled government organized plotted and prearranged this evil plot to persecute Falun Gong.

I clearly remember that the police who arrested Falun Dafa practitioners in Tianjin told them, "If you cannot get this issue resolved in Tianjin, you can always go to the State Council Appeals Office in Beijing to resolve it." Isn't it logical that the Jiang and Luo-controlled government arrested Falun Dafa practitioners in Tianjin to set a trap? They lured Falun Dafa practitioners to Beijing to have the excuse for the unprecedented evil persecution against Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners.

Dafa Practitioners Were Patient, Peaceful, and Orderly during the Appeal

Falun Dafa practitioners taking part in the April 25 appeal were a diverse group, coming from different backgrounds. There were elderly people, seventy years or older, expectant mothers, teenage students, government employees, military officers, policemen, medical doctors, hi-tech professionals, laborers, farmers, retired government employees, etc.

Some of them were Beijing residents, while others came from outside Beijing. They were of different ages, professions, and academic backgrounds. The majority had not met before, yet, they shared a common bond: They cultivated in Falun Dafa and came to visit the State Council Appeals Office. Their hearts were pure and kind. They only wanted to explain to the Chinese Central Government the truth about Falun Dafa. They wanted to tell their personal experiences and how they benefited from cultivating Falun Dafa. It was a display of the trust and hope they had in their government.

Every Falun Dafa practitioner waited quietly on the sidewalk for his turn to appeal for Falun Dafa. There were no slogans or display of banners throughout the entire event. There was no offensive behavior. As there was limited space on the sidewalk, the Falun Dafa practitioners stood close to each other. They wanted to leave enough space for the passersby to walk unimpeded on the sidewalk. Falun Dafa practitioners suffered the over-crowded conditions, and waited all day long on the sidewalk. Although there is a lawn next to the sidewalk, no one stepped on it or sat down on it.

Despite this terrible turn-around in the Chinese government's attitude toward Falun Dafa, Falun Dafa practitioners remained calm and collected. They showed in their behavior the magnificence of Falun Dafa. For example, Dafa practitioners brought trash bags to assure that the streets were kept clean during the entire time of the appeal. They voluntarily kept the street clean. All day long they cleaned up after the policemen who threw cigarettes and trash on the street. While, on the other hand, Falun Dafa practitioners did not litter, and everyone cleaned up after him/herself during the entire time of the appeal.

Even though no one knew the other, all acted as one body. Young male Falun Dafa practitioners' took turns standing on the perimeter of the crowd, so women, children, and elderly folks would be protected. In fact, many of these practitioners remained on the perimeter for the entire day.

During the entire time, all Falun Dafa practitioners displayed patience, peaceful demeanors, and orderly behavior. Although this many Falun Dafa practitioners were present, one heard no unpleasant noise, no chitchat or loud talking. Many Falun Dafa practitioners took the opportunity to study the Fa or recite Falun Dafa books quietly. To reduce unnecessary traffic in and out of the crowd, Falun Dafa practitioners [to avoid any misunderstanding by the police due to any sudden move] stood calmly in one place, without food intake, throughout the day. Many Falun Dafa practitioners used this opportunity to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to the policemen. Some practitioners even shared their water with the policemen, who were moved by this action and thanked them repeatedly.

At around 4 to 5 p.m. the police distributed flyers asking everyone to leave. Everyone remained firmly in place and kept a pure heart. "One righteous mind can subdue one hundred evils." (From "Practicing Evil Cultivation" in Lecture Five of Zhuan Falun.) Our innocent and kind demeanor slowly softened the policemen's stern attitude. In fact, many policemen started to chat with Falun Dafa practitioners. At first policeman stood only a few steps apart. As the day progressed, the policeman stood only every 20 some meters. The atmosphere on Fuyou Street had increasingly harmonized. At around 9 p.m., the representatives of Falun Dafa practitioners returned from the State Council Appeals Office, and every practitioner left promptly and orderly. After this appeal, all those innocent Falun Dafa practitioners, who were wrongly arrested in Tianjin, were released. The Tianjin incident was thus resolved peacefully.

Jiang Zemin's Sinister Plot

On April 25, 1999, police TV trucks, staff from elite agencies, and military police drove by Fuyou Street frequently. They photographed and videotaped Falun Dafa practitioners throughout the day. Also many policemen in civilian clothes mingled with the Falun Dafa practitioners. Falun Dafa practitioners appealed at the State Council Appeals Office in this tightly controlled atmosphere in a righteous and honorable manner.

I later became aware of a sinister plot. A neighbor of ours who is a physician at a hospital in Beijing told us that the military police advised her hospital on April 25 to prepare for an unrevealed emergency. They were told to vacate all hospital wards and prepare a large medical supply for external injuries suffered during an emergency mission. She said that some of her classmates from college who worked in hospitals around Beijing received similar orders. Until the late afternoon of April 25, the Commando car teams of the military police kept Fuyou Street under continued surveillance. Apparently Jiang's rogue regime had planned to suppress our peaceful appeal with guns and violence. Yet, Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners' turned the tide due to their righteous and compassionate behavior and peacefully changed a potential bloody and violent encounter.

Remembering April 25th, 1999: "Premier Zhu Rongji Led Us Inside Zhongnanhai"

The peaceful resolution of the 10,000-strong Zhongnanhai appeal on April 25th, 1999 is mainly attributable to the sincerity, kindness and tolerance that practitioners have derived from their Falun Dafa cultivation. For the good of China and its people, with the best intentions to resolve problems peacefully, trusting the government and not seeing any other alternatives, we chose to appeal as a group to the government. Throughout the entire process, we maintained good order and did not incite a riot or uproar, we did not chant any slogans nor raise our voices.

Additionally, we had heard that the then-Premier, Zhu Rongji, was handling the situation with an open mind. 'Before April 25, 1999, I did not know what stance Zhu Rongji was taking in response to the letters Falun Gong practitioners' had written to the authorities to explain the situation. However, for seven years many government leaders had recognized practitioners to be the most trustworthy and peaceful group of people in any country or environment at any time. A quote attributed to Qiao Shi, former Chairman of the People's Congress after he reviewed an investigative report of Falun Gong conducted in 1998 states that they are "one hundred percent beneficial while posing no harm" to the country, society or the families of those practicing.'

Before the persecution began on July 20, 1999, the practice site I went to on a regular basis was like other practice sites where hundreds of thousands of other Falun Gong practitioners went each night. Also, many practitioners went to nearby practitioners' homes to study the Fa together. On April 24, I was a little late when I arrived at the practice site. Seeing that I was late, the assistant Aunty Li gave me a quick briefing. In the magazine "A Broad Review of Scientific Technologies for Youngsters" published in Tianjin, He Zuoxiu made slandering remarks and claimed practicing Falun Gong would cause mental disease, implying that Falun Gong would destroy the country and the Party. This article followed the same pattern of many other twisted reports that had recently appeared in about a dozen media outlets without an in-depth investigation.

The intention of the slander and attack was the same as in the "Notice of an Investigative Report on Falun Gong" sent out by the 1st Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security on July 21, 1998. This notice first categorized Falun Gong as "spreading rumors and deviant theories" and requested that Political Security Sections of all local Ministry of Public Security offices launch an investigation. As a result, the Public Security Offices in Xinjiang and Liaoning Provinces started to consider practitioners' normal group practices as "illegal assemblies" and dispersed Falun Gong practitioners with force, wrongfully confiscated 'their personal property, and even physically abused, insulted, fined, arrested and detained practitioners.

According to the "Publishing Industry Guidelines" created by the State Department in 1997, rule 27 of Chapter Three states, "If a newspaper or periodical publishes articles with incorrect or unjust information, damaging the legal welfare of a citizen, a judicial entity or organization, the injured party has the right to request a correction, which the publishing company should promptly publish in their newspaper or periodical. If the publishing company refuses, the injured party may submit a lawsuit to the People's Court."

Accordingly, between April 18th and 24th, Tianjin Falun Gong practitioners went to the magazine company and other pertinent offices to tell the publisher how their minds and bodies had benefited from practicing Falun Gong, hoping that the editor of the magazine would explain the truth, thus eliminating the bad influence of the stories on society. At first, the magazine company said that they would correct the mistakes they had made. However, their attitude took a dramatic turn for the worse and they refused to admit their wrongdoings. These developments caught the attention of more and more Falun Gong practitioners, and they went to the magazine company in increasing numbers to communicate with the staff. On April 22, the Tianjin Public Security Bureau suddenly dispatched an anti-riot police force and arrested some practitioners. On April 23, they again sent anti-riot police to hit and disperse the crowd and arrested more than forty people.

Tianjin police even told practitioners that they needed to go to Beijing if they wanted to solve the problem. Rather than reaching a legal and reasonable resolution of this issue through normal channels, practitioners were beaten up and arrested. Under the circumstance practitioners could only conclude that the involvement of a higher authority, the Appeals Office, was required to stop the illegal actions.

Aunty Li said that it was up to each one of us to decide whether we would go. I said that I had not received a reply to a letter I wrote regarding the banning of Zhuan Falun by the News Publishing Bureau. I would be able to address this issue again, if I went to make the appeal and, of course, I would go. Since 1996 the state's News Publishing Bureau had confiscated and banned Falun Gong-related books via administrative measures citing the "spread of superstition" as their reason. Many practitioners had written letters to the News Publishing Bureau and central government leaders to protest these government agencies' illegal actions. Yet, after a long time, practitioners still had not had any reply and the situation had not improved. Thus, bringing their messages directly to the central government leaders was now their only choice.

It was around 7 a.m. when I arrived at the north end of Fuyou Street on April 25. Practitioners had already filled up the two sides of Fuyou Street and nearby streets. Some stood there and some sat down, but they did not talk to passers-by. Some were holding books and reading. Even though there were a lot of people, they did not create a traffic jam, nor did they make any noise. Bikers on their way to work were pedaling by as usual. I crossed Xiannmen Boulevard and entered the south side of the city. It was my first time there and I didn't even know where the gate was. I thought I would first circle around to see if I'd run into any practitioners I knew. So I walked south along the west side of Fuyou Street. Practitioners lined up neatly on both sides of the streets. Practitioners on the outside were standing and practitioners on the inside sat down, and were reading the book Zhuan Falun. Judging from their clothing, I could tell that some were from the countryside and they looked sincere and kind. I didn't meet any acquaintances along my way, although I did see many young men reporting on the situation through walkie-talkies. They were probably plainclothes policemen.

While walking further down the street, I heard low but enthusiastic applause. I turned to take a look and saw Zhu Rongji a few dozen meters away walking from the gate across the street. (I had just passed the west gate of Zhongnanhai). Several of his staff members were following him. They walked toward practitioners who were across the gate. Practitioners who were sitting down stood up and applauded. Everyone was very happy and surprised to see Zhu Rongji come out to meet practitioners as soon as he arrived at his office. Everyone wanted to approach him to explain the situation. I walked back quickly and also tried to approach him from inside the crowd. At that moment, a practitioner reminded everyone to stay put and maintain good order.

Zhu Rongji probably had already learned about Falun Gong practitioners' coming to appeal. He asked us loudly, "What are you here for? Who told you to come here?" A lot of practitioners who stood in the front were from countryside and most of them stayed silent.

"You have freedom of religion and beliefs!" He added.

"We are Falun Gong practitioners and we are here to explain the situation." Some practitioners in the crowd replied.

"If you have any problem, you can send some representatives up here and I'll take you inside for a discussion." Zhu Rongji paused, then said, "I can't possibly talk to so many of you!"

Zhu Rongji encouraged us to designate representatives to talk to him. However, we had all come spontaneously and most of us did not even know each other and had never thought about designating representatives. Since our practice is entirely voluntary, we just come to practice whenever we feel like it and if we don't have the time we just go about our own business. Nobody signs up for anything and nobody ever checks head counts, let alone elect representatives.

"Do you have any representatives? Who among you are the spokespersons?" He again asked.

I walked up towards him and ended up about two meters from him. "Premier Zhu, I can go with you." I was the first one from the crowd who volunteered to walk to his side.

"Who else?" Zhu Rongji asked.

"Me!"

"Me!"

"Me too!"

All of a sudden, everyone raised their hands.

Every practitioner wanted to go in to convey his or her message.

"We cannot have too many people." Zhu Rongji pointed at the first three persons. In fact, we were not elected or designated representatives, but volunteers.

Zhu Rongji turned and led us toward the west gate of Zhongnanhai. As he walked he raised his voice and asked us, "Didn't I already comment on the situation you guys reported?"

"We did not see it!" We replied in surprise.

He probably realized something and changed the subject, "I'll get the director of the Appeals Office to talk to you. I'll get the Deputy Secretary to talk to you." He turned to his staff members and asked them to find the people he mentioned. At that time we arrived at the Security Guards Post on the west gate of Zhongnanhai. The staff members signaled us to stop and took us to the left into a reception room while Zhu Rongji went into Zhongnanhai to work.

Soon after, four officials in their thirties and forties came in. One of them who was in his forties sat across me. According to Zhu Rongji, he was the person in charge of the Appeals Office. "We are here on the Premier's request to try to understand the situation. You guys first give us your information." He said. The three of us took turns telling them our names, work units and phone numbers. Every one of them was taking notes.

One of the female practitioners was an employee of a computer company in Beijing University. She started by saying, "He Zhuoxiu published an article that slandered Falun Gong in an educational magazine in Tianjin"

"Who?" The person in charge of the Appeal Office did not seem to understand and interrupted her.

"He Zhuoxiu." Together we replied.

"So it's just about He Zhuoxiu! [So what!?]" He said as he took notes dismissively.

"It's He Zhuoxiu again!" Another official muttered.

"Tianjin Falun Gong practitioners went to the magazine to explain the true situation, however the police arrested more than forty practitioners. We hope that they can release them as soon as possible." The female practitioner added.

From the looks on their faces, some seemed to understand the situation. But the man in his forties didn't seem to understand. He turned to the young man by his side and seemed to check with him about the situation in Tianjin.

"Falun Gong practices 'Truth, Compassion, Tolerance.' We have personally benefited from the practice, therefore we told our friends and relatives. They also benefited from the practice after a while so they told their friends and relatives. It has been spreading from one person to another and from heart to heart. As a result, more and more people joined the practice of Falun Gong. Now in some areas practitioners' suffered disruption of their exercise practice. We hope that we can have a fair and lawful environment for our cultivation practice." The female practitioner and another practitioner who had been laid off from his job said the same thing.

"Also, the book Zhuan Falun used to be published openly and publicly. But the government's News Publishing Bureau banned the publication of the book. So there are a lot of pirated editions circulating in society. We hope that you can give permission to allow open and public publication of Zhuan Falun." I reiterated the situation I had addressed in my previous letters.

The four officials took notes as they listened. The three of us took turns adding our own perspective to the conversation.

We also discussed the government's policy about the "Forbidden Three" on Qigong and Human Body Science ("no promotion, no dispute and no stick-whipping"), and agreed that different levels of government offices and news media should execute this policy.

During our discussions the middle-aged official seemed to realize that we were not designated representatives who had been prepared to negotiate. He probably did not know that we were randomly picked by Zhu Rongji. "Do you have anybody who is in charge that can act as a representative? Can you find two persons that are in charge?" He asked.

"Then I'll go look for veteran practitioners." I replied. There is nobody really in charge in the cultivation of Falun Dafa. Everyone follows the Fa to determine what he or she should do. We have personally benefited from the practice and want to be good people, so we insist on practicing Falun Gong. The officials were looking for persons in charge but I' had no idea who that would be. All I could do was to find practitioners who had started practicing Falun Gong early on who might give them some more information.

He agreed and signaled a staff member to take me out to find somebody.

I went to practitioners across the west gate and asked if anybody had more knowledge of the situation. However, most of us did not know each other very well. I asked several practitioners when they started practicing Falun Gong. Eventually, I found somebody who started practicing Falun Gong in 1994 and we returned to the reception room at the west gate of Zhongnanhai. Before he could even explain, the middle-aged official interrupted him, "We'll report your situation to the State Department and leaders in the central government as soon as possible. When you leave, please tell every one to go home. Go home as soon as possible."

"Mainly there are three issues we want to address: First we hope that Tianjin police will release the Falun Gong practitioners as soon as possible. The second is to allow the open publication of Zhuan Falun. The third is to be allowed a fair and lawful environment to practice Falun Gong." When we were leaving, I summed up our requests and gave them several copies of Zhuan Falun as gifts for the government leaders to read.

Later, the situation indicated that the message we conveyed was also what a lot of practitioners wanted to tell the government. On the same afternoon, supervisors from the State Department talked to practitioners from the Beijing Falun Dafa Association and they discussed similar issues.

After we left the building, practitioners were anxious to find out if the Tianjin police would release the detained practitioners. I briefly explained the situation to practitioners standing near the west gate entrance and I told them that it was not clear if the practitioners would be released. So everyone stayed put and waited to see if the situation would be resolved. On the sidelines were plainclothes policemen who carefully monitored my words and my moves. They probably thought that I was one of the organizers who had organized the appeal, or that I was in charge and they kept following me. As a matter of fact, I was just one of the average Falun Gong practitioners. (A few days later, a colleague in my work unit told me that during that night someone asked for my file and ran a check on me. But they did not find anything special in my records.)

In the early Beijing spring, the sun is usually baking hot by noon. As more and more people gathered around Zhongnanhai, the situation was kept in good order. The practitioners all came from different areas. They had personally benefited from the practice and knew all about Falun Gong. We were also very concerned with how the government would handle the incident of Tianjin policemen unreasonably arresting practitioners. The minds of the practitioners' were very peaceful and they quietly waited for any messages.

I thought that my own appeal had expressed the issues I was concerned with and I still had other things to attend to that day, so I went home soon after I left the walls of Zhongnanhai.

On the same evening, I went to attend group study as usual, but nearby practitioners were mostly not home. I guessed that they had also gone to make an appeal and had not returned home yet. At about 9 p.m. I decided to go to Zhongnanhai again. On my way I saw the streets filled with practitioners heading home. I learned that the situation had been properly resolved, so I also went home.

Media Reports

Times (UK): Yu Zhou Dies as China Launches Pre-Olympic Purge of Falun Gong

April 20, 2008

MEMBERS of a peaceful Chinese spiritual movement say that more than 1,500 of its supporters have been detained in the run-up to the Olympic Games and that one of them, a popular folk singer, has died in custody.

The arrests have been carried out against Falun Gong, a group that practises traditional meditation and exercise. [...].

The official media have not reported the arrests, but there has been lively discussion among music fans on Chinese websites over the fate of the singer Yu Zhou, 42. "Another beautiful soul has left the world," commented one distraught fan.

Falun Gong representatives said Yu was arrested on January 26 while returning home from a concert in Beijing. His family were called to the Qinghe district emergency centre on February 6 to view his body, which was covered in a white sheet.

Yu's relatives were told that he had died of diabetes or as the result of a hunger strike. They replied that he had never suffered from diabetes and refused official demands for an immediate cremation, the group said.

Yu won a following among young Chinese for his mellow folk ballads. His group, Xiao Juan and Residents from the Valley, released two successful CDs and appeared on the Phoenix television channel.

Yu was a graduate of Beijing University. He married Xu Na, 40, a poet and painter who was imprisoned between 2001 and 2006 for her association with Falun Gong. The group said she was also arrested on January 26 and remains in custody.

[...]

Friends and colleagues of Yu said they have lost contact with the parents of the couple, whose homes were said to be under police surveillance.

However, a member of Yu's band, contacted by telephone, said in response to a question about his reported death: "It is not suitable to answer this question. As you know, if I answer it I will be in trouble."

While global attention has focused on the uprising in Tibet, the renewed attack on Falun Gong shows that the state security apparatus is determined to crush any domestic opposition before the Beijing Games start in August.

"It is increasingly clear that much of the current wave of repression is occurring not in spite of the Olympics but actually because of the Olympics," said Amnesty International, which has detailed numerous arrests and the harassment of Chinese civil rights activists.

Now operating from exile, Falun Gong said that at least 1,878 of its adherents had been arrested since January 1. The detainees included 156 people in Beijing. Of these, 26 were residents of the Chaoyang and Shunyi districts, which host Olympic venues.

[...]

The US State Department estimates that at least 100,000 Falun Gong members have been imprisoned, locked up in psychiatric hospitals or sent to "reeducation" camps, where they are made to denounce Li.

The group itself says several thousand of its followers have died in prison as a result of torture and beatings.

Facts of the Persecution

Falun Gong Practitioners Persecuted by the National Security Department of Zhoukou City, Henan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) On January 17, 2008, a group of police officers from the National Security Department of the Shabei Public Security Division, in Zhoukou County, Henan Province, led by He Chenggong and Han Yong, forcibly entered practitioner Mr. Zhang Siying's home. The officers announced that they were looking for a satellite dish used for watching New Tang Dynasty TV programs. The officers acted without regard for legal procedures. They searched the home and seized a TV, DVD player, and an MP3 player, along with other valuable items.

The officers were inconsiderate of the fact that Mr. Zhang Siying was quite weak due to his illegal imprisonment and persecution over the past several years. Officers Han and He directed the other men to twist his arms and take him to the police station, where he was put in a jail cell.

Mr. Zhang's mother is in her eighties, in poor health, and therefore dependent upon Mr. Zhang for care. When the officers searched Mr. Zhang's home, they broke the windows in her room, even though it was winter. This hardship caused the elderly lady to suffer, in addition to the fact that the police took away her son.

Mr. Zhang is a veteran soldier and had many illnesses due to his service in the army. He recovered his health after learning Falun Gong and was able to lead a normal life, but after July 20, 1999, when the persecution began, he has been arrested, detained and imprisoned nine times. He has undergone several torture sessions which included brutal beatings, "tying the ropes," (1) being hung up by his hands cuffed behind his back, and violent forced feeding. As a result, his body has sustained multiple injuries.

After the police officers searched Mr. Zhang's home, the police continued their activities at the Mechanical Packaging Factory in Zhoukou City, and arrested several practitioners who worked there. The officers arrested Ms. Jiang Li, interrogated her and put her in jail.

Both Mr. Zhang Siying and Ms. Jiang Li were released from prison just prior to the Chinese New Year.

After officer He Chenggong was assigned the position of captain for the National Security Department, and supported by associate chief Zhou Guilian, he partnered with associate captain Han Yong to escalate the surveillance, monitoring, harassment and arrest of Falun Gong practitioners. In November 2007, they also conducted a search of the elderly practitioner Ms. Cheng Qingfu's house.

Note:

(1) Tying the ropes - With both arms tightly tied behind the back, both feet off the ground or only the toes barely touching the ground, one is hung from a high place with rope. Sometime there are sharp sticks on the rope. When the rope is tightly fastened, the rope will cut into one's flesh, which is extremely painful.

Mr. Song Aichang Sentenced to Detention in Shijiazhuang City

(Clearwisdom.net)

[Note: The following is a shortened version of a longer and more detailed article published on minghui.ca

Officers from Shijiazhuang City Police Department, from the Qiaoxi Police Department, and from the Keyuan Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. Song Aichang at noon on June 22, 2007. He is a senior engineer at the No. 13 Institute of the China Electronic Technology Corporation. They ransacked his home and took him to the Keyuan Police Station, where they tortured him. The police submitted documents containing fabricated information against Mr. Song to officials at the Qiaoxi District Procuratorate. The court held a trial on the morning of October 26, 2007. Mr. Song's lawyer presented an airtight argument. The judge, however, dared not cross the police. The case was returned to the procuratorate for supplemental information.

It was re-submitted to the Qiaoxi District Court on January 18, 2008. Another trial commenced on February 27, six days past the 45-day retrial statute of limitations. According to Chinese law, a second trial should not have taken place, but the court officials operated above the law and also denied Mr. Song Aichang family's request for parole.

Mr. Song's lawyer stated that "Wrong application of law, ambiguous facts, lack of evidence" were the reasons why the case did not stand. Public prosecutor Wu Huiling and Chief Judge Su Changyin failed to present any sensible rebuttal. They knew Falun Gong practitioners were exercising their freedom of belief by explaining the facts, even according to the Communist Party's own laws, and had not committed any crime. Pressured by Party officials, however, the judge still sentenced Song Aichang to detention, in complete violation of the Chinese constitution. Mr. Song was taken to the Shijianshuang City No. 2 Detention Center, where he has been held for more than nine months. His lawyer and family have petitioned for his release.

Mr. Zhang Deming Arrested Again, Faces Second Prison Sentence for Practicing Falun Gong

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 10, 2008, the local Police Department, National Security Team, and Public Security Team of Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province deployed eight police vehicles to surround Mr. Zhang Deming's home and arrest him. Later, the CCP police issued an "arrest warrant" and are planning to sentence Mr. Zhang to prison.

Mr. Zhang Deming, resident of Xiaoying Village in the Baigou area, is 58 years old. He started practicing Falun Gong in 1998. Since July 20, 1999, the local police have arrested Mr. Zhang multiple times.

In November 2000, Mr. Zhang was arrested by the Gaoqiao Police Station of the Baigou Police Department and detained in the Gaobeidian City Shooting Range, where he was tortured to get him to relinquish his belief in Falun Dafa. Later he was sentenced to four years in prison and sent to Jidong Prison.

On June 7, 2006, Mr. Zhang was arrested by police officers from the Gaoqiao Police Station, including Wang Shiyong. Mr. Zhang later managed to escape and had to flee home to avoid further harassment.

On March 10, 2008, the local police arrested Mr. Zhang again, ransacked his home, and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong and a large number of Mr. Zhang's personal belongings, including a motorized tricycle, a bicycle, 600 yuan in cash, a computer, three ink jet printers, two laser printers, a compact disk writer, a USB hard drive, an MP3 player, a mobile phone, a wireless network card, a satellite TV receiver, a satellite TV antenna, and a TV set. They also extorted 3,600 yuan from Mr. Zhang's landlord.

Crimes Committed by Chuotou Brainwashing Center Personnel in Guangzhou

(Clearwisdom.net) The brainwashing center in Chuotou that is specifically for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners is close to Chuotou Forced Labor Camp of Guangzhou, and has an euphemistic name for the outside world: Guangzhou Legal Education School. This brainwashing center was officially established on April 3, 2001. The following are my personal experiences there.

From the outside, the brainwashing center looks like a legal education school, but the front door is shut tight all day long, except for police vehicles that enter and exit. Music is broadcast through a loudspeaker early each morning, and a bystander would not notice anything abnormal. Even if someone were to really enter the center, they wouldn't be able to find the anything wrong. This is because all the security personnel hired from the outside, the so-called "teaching assistants," already know what they should and should not say. [Translator's note: These security officers are hired outside of the CCP's police system to monitor practitioners and are different from the trained guards employed at the center.]

When I was illegally arrested, I was locked up in a dark room. The single-person bathroom has transparent walls for the convenience of the supervisor's observation. It has air conditioning, a study table, television, single-person bunk bed, and chamber pot. Installed on the roof are pinhole video recorders. Guards on duty may turn them on and watch the practitioners' movements in each room at will. This equipment is configured according to the "attitude" of the practitioner being brainwashed. Those deemed to have been thoroughly brainwashed may turn on the air conditioning, watch television, be assigned to a more ventilated room, and so on. That very evening the principal guard told me to "reform" sooner and confess on my own initiative. He suggested that if I missed the opportunity to act out of my own initiative, I would be in big trouble. Afterwards, guards in charge came to me to implement so-called "change thoughts work." Each guard was assigned to monitor three to five practitioners.

Some steadfast practitioners have been locked up in the dark rooms for more than a year. In this way, their imprisonment is extended in a disguised form. There was one female practitioner, a graduate of Beijing University, who did not reform at Sanshui Forced Labor Camp, and remained very steadfast after being transferred to this brainwashing center. She was imprisoned on the third floor for a long time. Practitioners were imprisoned separately. There were triangular observation holes in their doors, and the security personnel patrolled and observed from their offices through monitoring televisions. The practitioners on hunger strike were tied up on a stool or chair and force-fed or given intravenous injections. During the long solitary confinement, the guards would use the in-room television to force the practitioners to listen to and watch the propaganda of the Chinese Communist Party. They attempted to wear down practitioners' will in this manner and force them to give up cultivation practice.

I once asked a security officer, "How would you behave if you were locked inside?" The officer said that he would certainly go insane. Some security officers said that they would leave the center as soon as they found another job, and that they would look after practitioners but not do so in an obvious way.

One female guard named Li Wanxia has been working at this brainwashing center for about six years. She was the leader of the security personnel and coordinated with the guards to torture practitioners. She frequently made trouble for practitioners. Security personnel here generally do not work for a long time except when compelled to by life circumstances, because when conversing in private with the practitioners, the security officers have sympathy for practitioners. However, some of the security officers were pushed to commit crimes against the practitioners.

The main building of the brainwashing center has three floors. Male practitioners are imprisoned on the first floor, female practitioners are imprisoned on the second floor, and the third floor are the offices. The kitchen is in another, one-story house, and the food is prepared by special workers. Usually the food for the guards, security officers, and practitioners is all distributed from the kitchen. The front door is shut tightly all year long, and a security specialist is on duty. Only when vehicles drive in and out will the door be opened.

The most evil ones are the collaborators. In 2007, the Guangzhou 610 Office invited a "brainwashing group" from Beijing composed of three women and one man. The man, 50 years old, had the last name Xu and was from Beijing. One of the women was named Tian Bin, approximately in her 40s, and there was one woman I had never met before. These collaborators were extremely active in brainwashing people. They regularly wrote "thoughts reports" to the relevant department, because they said themselves that the Chinese Communist Party could not trust them in any way.

In this brainwashing center, no matter how calm an atmosphere is shown on the surface, it is all for one goal: to force practitioners to give up their belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." After I left the brainwashing center, the pain of the experience lasted a very long time, and I would frequently wake up in the middle of the night.

I was once imprisoned and tortured at the Guangzhou Chini Forced Labor Camp. The guards tied up my hands, feet, and head into a "spherical" shape with rope; my mouth was stuffed with cloth; and I was hung up until I almost fainted. Such torture was simply to try to force me to give up Falun Gong. The political instructor at the time was Li Guoming, and he was extremely cruel. Under his direction numerous Falun Gong practitioners have been tortured.

Mr. Zhou Ning from Jinan City Detained at Jining City Detention Center

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 12, 2007, Falun Gong Mr. Zhou Ning from Jinan City, Shandong Province was illegally arrested in Jining City, Shandong Province. He has been detained at the Jining City Detention Center ever since.

At 6:00 a.m. on September 12, 2007, Guo Hongtao (male, responsible for the death of practitioner Mr. Wang Chan), and his fellow officers from the Jining City Police Department, as well as agents from the 610 Office, broke into an apartment in Hanxi Village, Middle District, Jining City. They arrested Mr. Zhou Ning, his wife, his one-year-old son, and four visitors - practitioners from another city. It has been verified that the operation was under the direct command of Jining City Police Department's Director Xu Shijie (male) and the city's Secretary General. The officers acted cruelly and violently during the operation.

The officers entered Mr. Ning's home using a key. Mr. Zhou Ning only had time to say, "What are you doing?" before an officer put him in a choke-hold and several others started beating him. Once he was beaten down to the ground, the officers held his arms and stomped on his legs while another officer repeatedly kicked his lower back. Mr. Zhou was immediately injured. He was in such pain he could not move. After that, the officers handcuffed Mr. Zhou's hands behind his back, covered his head with a cloth sack, and forced him into a police car. During the trip out to the police car, Mr. Zhou cried out, "Falun Dafa is good." Afraid that Mr. Zhou would clarify the truth to the onlookers, the officers fiercely raised up his arms which were handcuffed behind his back and grabbed him by the throat to stop him from speaking.

The officers also seized Mr. Zhou's laptop, digital camera, camera, and about 15,000 yuan in cash.

The officers took Mr. Zhou Ning to the Nanxinzhuang Police Station in Jining City. They handcuffed him to an iron chair (1), shackled his feet to it, and continually interrogated him. Mr. Zhou refused to answer any of their questions. He was taken to the Jining City Detention Center that night and has been detained there since then.

Mr. Zhou Ning went on a hunger strike to protest his arrest. He was taken to the Jining Medical School Affiliated Hospital to be force-fed. Wearing handcuffs and shackles, Mr. Zhou clarified the truth loudly to bystanders in the hospital and said "Falun Dafa is good." Many were shocked by the scene.

Mr. Zhou Ning has not cooperated with the persecution since being detained. He still suffers from his lower back injury that the police inflicted. Several fingers on his right hand are becoming numb. Mr. Zhou has not returned home in the past eight years to avoid being arrested, but has never given up his faith. He is detained at the Jining City Detention Center and will face trial soon. The case involves Jining City Middle District Police Department, Middle District Procuratorate, and Middle District Court.

(1) The iron chair is a torture device made of iron pipes. Victims are restrained on the iron chair with both arms and legs tied for long periods of time. See illustration on http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2002/1/9/17577.html.

More Details of Falun Dafa Practitioners Persecuted in Pingshan County, Hebei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Note: The following is a shortened version of a longer and more detailed article that appeared on the minghui.ca website which is the Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net.

Mr. Zhao Junfeng Beaten and Sent to a Forced Labor Camp

Mr. Zhao Junfeng, 45, is a Falun Dafa practitioner who works for the Pingshan County Sugar and Wine Company. In December 2000, a police chief named Feng Qingfang (female) and other police officers, including Zheng Lihui (male) and Xiao Suilong (male) from the Pingshan County Police Department, broke into Mr. Zhao Junfeng's home and ransacked it. They took Mr. Zhao Junfeng to the police station to interrogate him and then imprisoned him in a detention center. Zhang Guoping (male) was the director of the detention center at that time. He instigated other prisoners into beating, insulting, and physically punishing Mr. Zhao. After being detained for 35 days, the detention center authorities forced his family to hand over 5,000 yuan before releasing him. After extorting money from them, they refused to provide any receipt or statement.

During the summer of 2002, Feng Qingfang, Xiao Suilong and Lv Weihua (male, Pingshan County Xiaojue Court,) arrested Mr. Zhao Junfeng and sent him to a brainwashing center. They did not show any identification. Lv Weihua violently punched Mr. Zhao in the face, causing Mr. Zhao to bleed profusely from the nose.

During the evening of March 27, 2003, Feng Qingfang, Xiao Suilong and Hu Yuetao (male) broke into Mr. Zhao Junfeng's home and forced him to go to the police station to be interrogated. They also tried to force him to sign a subpoena. Mr. Zhao refused to do it, so they forced him to go to the third floor of the police department and tried to coerce him into "confessing." They punched and kicked him at first, but soon after, they struck Mr. Zhao's head and face with shoes and electric batons. After being tortured for two days and nights, Mr. Zhao Junfeng was sent to a detention center and was sentenced to a forced labor term. The forced labor camp did not accept him, so he was sent back to the detention center and imprisoned there for over two weeks. The police from that department continued making attempts to send him to the Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp, but the labor camp refused him four times because of his high body temperature. Therefore Mr. Zhao was injected with unknown drugs and forced to eat ice so that he would be accepted by the labor camp. 57 People Declare that their Words and Deeds Under Forced Brainwashing are Null and Void

(Clearwisdom.net) A "solemn declaration" is a person's public statement declaring to the world that whatever he or she has done or said under duress or deception that was against Falun Dafa is null and void. Most of these statements have come from Falun Dafa practitioners in China who wished to express regret that, in the face of physical torture and brainwashing, they had signed documents renouncing Dafa and guaranteeing not to practice again. Also, as more and more people in China learn the truth about how they have been deceived and lied to by the Jiang regime, many non-practitioners are also submitting "solemn declarations."

Here are some examples of the Solemn Declarations:

Zijian Zhang called for an end to the persecution

Practitioner Xiaoyue Li emphasized that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) promised the world to improve its human rights record when it was applying to host the Olympic Games, and yet the CCP has used the Games as an excuse to arrest many Falun Gong practitioners.

"Security officials not only unlawfully detained my father, they also forced my mother to move out of our home. When my mother tried to visit my father, she was told that family visits would be allowed only after the Olympic Games," said Zhang. "I hereby appeal to all kindhearted people to help us rescue Falun Gong practitioners detained in China and I also urge the CCP to release all the detained practitioners immediately."

Professor Jon Goss works in the Department of Geography at the University of Hawaii. At the recommendation of a Chinese colleague, he and 20 other faculty members and students from his department attended the Chinese Spectacular on April 21. When interviewed, Professor Goss said, "The performance was remarkable! The costumes, in particular, were colorful and gorgeous. The dances were really beautiful."

Prof. Goss told the reporter that he was deeply impressed by the performance "Drummers of the Tang Court," and he was also appreciative of the dances "The Mongolian Bowl Dance" and "Water Sleeves": "They danced with coordination and in harmony, extremely beautiful."

When talking about the stories portrayed in the dances, Prof. Goss thought that "The Risen Lotus Flower" presented a very good story. His daughter Anise liked it, too. Prof. Goss thought the performance presented the message that Falun Gong [practitioners] are persecuted. He said that he had learned about the persecution of Falun Gong through the media. His colleagues have all learned about it. He thought it was interesting to use classical dance to portray modern subjects in the performance.

Practitioners Exchange Insights and Experiences

Get Rid of Jealousy

(Clearwisdom.net) During my recent cultivation experience, I suddenly realized that I did not work hard enough to get rid of jealousy. When I looked within myself, I found that jealousy was pretty intense in me. I also enlightened that jealousy can disintegrate the whole body and interfere with Fa Rectification.

I have always complained that fellow practitioners could not form a whole body and that fellow practitioners did not cultivate diligently enough. In the end I realized that I was blocked by jealousy. After I enlightened to the principle, I could feel that what was blocking me had disappeared and my heart became more compassionate. The whole environment also had miraculously changed. Fellow practitioners voluntarily came to share experiences and I could see that the whole body had been connected altogether. I feel that it is very important and essential to get rid of jealousy. I went over and understood better related teachings given by Master and felt deeply that jealousy is a truly detrimental attachment that directly leads to the persecution of Dafa. The whole persecution started because of "a buffoon's jealousy." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A" ).

If every practitioner paid enough attention to Master's teaching's on getting rid of jealousy in "Zhuan Falun", the evil energy field in mainland China would disappear quickly. The head of the evil forces would have nowhere to live, the arrangement of the old forces would be eliminated, and the persecution would end very quickly. If we had paid enough attention to getting rid of jealousy earlier, the persecution would not have happened and more sentient beings would have been saved. It is our human attachments that have helped the evil to grow and interfere with Fa Rectification.

When I shared my understandings with fellow practitioners, I emphasized what I have enlightened to about getting rid of jealousy, and everyone realized how important it is to get rid of jealousy and other human attachments. We should not allow our human attachments to interfere with Fa Rectification and commit sins during Fa Rectification. Getting rid of attachments and standing on the basis of Fa Rectification is to accommodate Master's Fa Rectification and follow the trend of Fa Rectification. This is the ultimate manifestation of altruism.

Fellow practitioners asked me to write down what I have enlightened so that everyone can improve together. I especially hope that practitioners from mainland China will pay attention to getting rid of jealousy, particularly jealousy that is very difficult to notice.

To change the environment of persecution, we should start by rectifying our hearts.

Please benevolently point out anything that is not correct in my sharing.

Saving People Who Have a Predestined Relationship With Us

(Clearwisdom.net) In the "Fa Teaching at the U.S. Capital," Teacher has revealed the Fa principles and the significance of clarifying the truth to the world's people and saving sentient beings. This made a deep impression on me and I enlightened to the urgency of saving people.

Starting with My Family Members

My husband has been deeply poisoned by the Communist Party Culture. He watches news programs produced by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) daily, and is even proud of understanding CCP political theories. As for the fact that my daughter and I practice Falun Gong, from the point of view of healing and keeping fit, he is not against us doing it. However, he could not accept most of the teachings of Dafa and he complained that we spent too much time studying the Fa, doing the exercises and engaging in other activities. He also did not understand why as cultivators, we are required to eliminate the attachment to fame, self-interest, and qing. He was totally confused because of the evil nature of the CCP.

My daughter and I realized that we must rectify our family environment first, and at the same time, we also have the responsibility of clarifying the truth to him. However, my husband didn't want to watch the truth-clarification DVDs, because that would have interfered with his watching sports programs and TV soaps. So when my daughter sent forth righteous thoughts, she asked Teacher to help her and stop the cable TV from working. Later, because she knew that her dad has the habit of taking an afternoon nap, she added another thought: After my dad finishes his afternoon nap, the cable TV should stop working.

Sure enough, in the afternoon, after my husband got up, he couldn't watch any of his programs. Right away, my daughter took out a truth-clarification DVD and said to him very nicely: "Dad, since you can't watch TV, let's watch this DVD for now, how about that?" My husband agreed, and finally, through watching this DVD, he got to learn the truth of the CCP's slander and persecution of Falun Gong.

Teacher mentioned that when we clarify the truth to people, we should talk to them according to their interests. My husband likes things that are scientific and mysterious, so my daughter and I sat down with him and watched programs that covered those kinds of topics, and he was very interested. He is also very interested in performing arts, so we watched the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular together. I told him that people from overseas who watched this Spectacular felt completely changed after the show; they felt very pleasant and uplifted. After he finished watching the Spectacular, he said: "What interested me most was being able to see [tenor] Guan Guimin again." One time, when he had some free time, I recommended to him some articles from Disintegrating the Party's Culture. After he read a few, he said firmly, "Well written! Well done!" One time when he was chatting with a friend, he said, "There are some very talented people who practice Falun Gong."

During the summer of 2003, we traveled to Hainan Island in Guangdong Province, and the tour guide said that there were two ways to reach certain sightseeing spots. One was to go along the seashore, the other way was going through the cave. He also stressed that by following the second option, the scenes we would be seeing were unique and that this was also the path that Jiang Zemin had passed through, and that Jiang's footprints had been left there. I spoke out right away: "We don't want to repeat the path he covered." My husband also said, "What's such a big deal about that path he covered?" Therefore, passengers in the entire bus agreed that they didn't want to take that path.

Sometimes I deliver the "Minghui Weekly" and other Dafa materials to fellow practitioners, and when I didn't have enough time, my husband would give me a hand. Later I told him, "Our Teacher said that ordinary people who do things for Dafa will receive good fortune." In the summer of 2007, a practitioner came to my home and asked if I would like to have a satellite dish installed to receive NTDTV programs, and I said that I couldn't wait to have it installed. When we looked at my husband, he agreed right away and said to go ahead. I was thrilled. Therefore, from then on, we have been watching NTDTV programs every day. I understand that it was Teacher who had arranged everything; I must always remember what Teacher has done for us.

In 2006, I began to talk to my husband about withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. At the beginning, he considered it unnecessary, so I had to talk to him about this once in a while. I also helped him analyze the pros of quitting the Party. Ultimately he agreed to quit his membership in the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers, thus choosing a good future for himself. At the same time, our cultivation environment at home has become better and better. We can now study the Fa, do the exercises, send forth righteous thoughts, make Dafa truth-clarification materials in an open and dignified manner, and when practitioners come to our home, we share with them freely.

Mr. Zeng, who is a teacher, is a person who holds a prestigious position in our local area in the education field, and he used to be my teacher as well. After I became a teacher, he helped me selflessly. I admired his character and his knowledge. Also, because of his excellent performance, he was recruited as a CCP member. Now, I feel that the best way to give him something in return is to help him quit the Party. When I clarified the truth to him and talked to him about quitting the CCP, at first, he was very surprised and said to me seriously: "I need to think it over." In addition, he also said that he never believed in the existence of gods or Buddha, and therefore he found it hard to believe us when we said, "If people do not punish it [the CCP], then heaven will," and, "Heaven and earth will eliminate the CCP."

Soon after that, Zeng got trapped into a scam by a person who claimed that he was his student, and that person cheated him almost out of his entire life savings. Zeng was crushed and didn't dare to share this story with his family, so he called me and talked to me about it. I went to his home again, and after I comforted him for a while, I clarified the truth to him again. He was still concerned about facing his bosses and coworkers if he quit the Party, and wondered about how to deal with matters such as handing in the Party dues and joining CCP committee activities. I told him that gods and Buddha only looked at a person's heart, what you do on the surface does not count. I said that currently it's no problem if you continue to submit Party dues, as long as you were willing to quit the Party from deep inside. Only by quitting the Party, can you make sure that you have a future. Therefore, he finally agreed to quit the Party right away, and felt a great sense of relief after that. Before I left his home, Zeng asked me to drop by his home more often.

Our Family Members All Have a Predestined Relationship With Us

During the national holiday, there were suddenly a few alumni parties (we normally only have one every year) taking place. In addition, my relatives gave a couple of parties to celebrate their moving to a new place. I understood that these things didn't happen accidentally, and that it was Teacher who arranged those opportunities for us to save people. Moreover, lately when I study the Fa with all my heart, I look forward to more opportunities where I have contact with ordinary people in order to save them. Teacher has seen my heart, and therefore he arranged those opportunities for me. When I think about this, my heart is full of happiness and I have lots of confidence.

At my relative's party, I clarified the truth to my niece's husband. I talked to him about the fact that the CCP had committed tremendous crimes, such that it would be punished by heaven and great calamities would happen to people. I said to him: "I have talked to all of my relatives except you. If this kind of thing happens in the future, you would blame me if I had not talked to you. I would be doing you a disservice if I didn't tell you the facts." Finally, he agreed to quit the Party. I also clarified the truth to my other relatives again.

Saving People Should Not Be Limited to the People I Know

In terms of our clarifying the truth, it should not be limited only to our relatives, friends or acquaintances. Therefore, I try my best to clarify the truth to people whom I come into contact with. I talk to cab drivers, cashiers in stores, staff members, or whoever I run into. I have left truth-clarification materials and copies of the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" in hotel rooms, in bookstores, and in mailboxes in residential districts. I believe that people who have a predestined relationship will learn the truth and be saved. We are trying to save those divine beings who had great courage to come down to this world in order to obtain the Fa.

What I Saw in Another Dimension When Practitioners Were Afraid to Expose the Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) I fortunately began practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. Since then my life has undergone a great change. With benevolent help from Master and the guidance of the Fa, I have been able to firmly walk my cultivation path. Today I would like to write down some of my cultivation experiences to and share with fellow practitioners. I hope it will help in validating the Fa and help fellow practitioners to improve.

The first time I read Zhuan Falun, I saw six or seven lines of words enlarge and become three-dimensional. When I read more, the words got even bigger. I feel that what Master said are all heavenly secrets. When I just started to do the meditation exercise, I could enter ding from the very beginning. I saw the sky was bright and clear, as if the sun was shining again after the rain, and there were three large characters--"Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance"--on a rainbow.

Through cultivation, gradually I was able to break through different levels. I experienced various supernormal abilities and could often see scenes from other dimensions. Usually, as long as I think about cultivation, the words "Truthfulness", "Compassion" and "Forbearance" appear in front of me. I enlightened that it is Master asking me to guide myself according to the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" at every moment, rectify myself with the Fa, and be a genuine practitioner. Along the path of my cultivation, Master has been continuously revealing principles of different levels to me.

My main spirit was able to leave my body quite often when I was sending righteous thoughts and doing the meditation, and I could enter other dimensions and see a lot of things. It was vividly clear. Below are some examples of evil interference I saw in other dimensions--at my current, limited level and realm--that I would like to share with my fellow practitioners.

The Situation in Another Dimension When Practitioners Are Afraid to Expose the Persecution

One practitioner that I know was arrested and persecuted when clarifying the facts. After being released, this practitioner was frightened to expose the facts. She feared that the local authorities would arrest her again once they found out. Because she chose not to expose the persecution, I saw the old forces, dark minions, and rotten demons in other dimensions watching her and preventing her from cultivating, saying, "If she wants to cultivate, she needs to pay back all the debts that she owes us." I said, "How do you want her repay it?" The rotten demons said, "Let her pay the debt she owes by herself!" Just then, I saw a well. As they spoke, the dark minions carried her over and threw her down the well.

I saw a vast and dark dimension down in the well. As soon as they dropped her down it, many different kinds of creatures such as maggots and ants surrounded her, saying, "You must pay what you owe us!" and started to eat her. But no matter how hard these small creatures tried to bite her, nothing happened to her. They then said, "Why can't we bite her? It is because she practices Falun Gong and cultivates Zhen, Shan and Ren. That's why we are not able to touch her." I said, "You can't eat her. Let her come up." Right away she came back up the well to where she was before.

Then the wicked, dark minions and rotten demons told her, "You are not allow to leave because you have attachments and fear. You have omissions, so we must persecute you and we are not going to allow you to leave!" They formed two lines next to her, watching. There were two rotten demons holding big long knives, blocking her way forward, and another two holding long swords, blocking her way back--it was the same scene as a criminal being escorted to the execution ground.

I write this down in order to remind fellow practitioners that we must expose the persecution after being released. Let's not have the attachment of fear. Disintegrate the evil elements, join group Fa study, and improve our understanding on the Fa. Let's dig out those deeply hidden human attachments and share with fellow practitioners, catch up with the pace of Master's Fa-rectification, do the three things well, and walk the path to godhood in an open and dignified way.

The Situation in Other Dimension When Practitioners Fail to Write the Solemn Statements

A practitioner's daughter-in-law (also a practitioner) was sentenced to three years imprisonment by the local authorities. She gave up the practice due to fear. Fellow practitioners wanted to save her. After several practitioners, including me, were introduced to her, we shared with her and hoped she could return to the path of cultivation. When sending righteous thoughts, I saw in other dimensions that there were three evil spirits, many soldiers, and rotten demons watching her, stopping her from returning to the path of cultivation. She was holding a piece of paper the size of a book in her hand, there were words written on the paper. I asked her "Why are you just standing here instead of sending righteous thoughts?" She said, "It is not that I don't want to cultivate, it is them (the evil beings) that don't allow me to cultivate."

After sending righteous thoughts, she told me that she had written the repentance statementand had promised not to practice again. In other dimensions, this "repentance statement" is an agreement made with the evil; it is the same as a contract. That's why the old forces wouldn't allow her to cultivate. After sharing, this practitioner decided to write a "solemn statement" from her heart and expose those bad thoughts deep in her heart. After we finished sharing, when we were doing the meditation exercise, I saw in other dimension the same practitioner standing on lotus flowers rising upwards, leaving the environment of evil interference, until she reached the world where she was before. I saw her world had become the residence of evil beings. There were even troops guarding the place. I asked for Master's help and eliminated all the evil beings in her world with divine powers. All the sentient beings were saved. Now that practitioner has again started her cultivation steadily and is saving sentient beings.

The Situation in Other Dimension When Practitioners Have Doubts about Dafa

A male practitioner was a good friend of Practitioner A. One day, Practitioner A suddenly had the symptom of sickness karma and passed away after several days. This incident affected him and caused obstacles in his cultivation. He had doubts about Dafa, saying, "Practitioner A was a good cultivator yet he died." After that he stopped cultivation. His wife and daughter are both practitioners. They shared with him many times and finally they rescued him and he started to cultivate again.

Nevertheless, the old forces wouldn't let him go. As soon as he started cultivation again, he too had symptoms of sickness karma and felt suffocated.

They live in a village. Once they went to visit their relatives in the county, and some practitioners asked me to share with them in order to help him improve quickly. After we shared for a while, we kept sending righteous thoughts hourly. After righteous thoughts we would do the meditation exercise. In meditation, I saw that both of the practitioner's feet were tied up by evil beings. He was standing on a bench and was not allowed to leave. I said, "Why are you tying him up and not letting him go?" They answered, "He made mistakes, so we are punishing him." I said, "Let him go, let him cultivate well. When he consummates, you can become sentient beings in his world." They answered happily, "All right." Then they released him. Just as he was about to leave, a rabbit stopped him and wouldn't let him go. I asked, "Why don't you let him go?" The rabbit said, "It is his own fault. I am asking for the return of the things and life he owed me!" I said, "Let him go. When he reaches consummation, he will save you." The rabbit allowed him to leave. The roads we walked on are mountain paths. Along the hillside, there were other animals trying to stop us. I solved the problems the same way.

After we reached the top of the mountain, not far away we saw an entrance, but the door was still locked. The lock was very rusted, as if it hadn't been touched for many years. I told him, "The door is locked and we can't go inside." He said, "I have the key." I said, "Quickly, open the door!" The door opened. As soon as we walked in, the sentient beings inside said straight away, "Our Master is back. You didn't care about us after you left and were not trying to save us. We were suffering and waiting for you here. You finally came back. We have hope now." Just then we finished our meditation and came out of ding.

During sharing, his wife told us, "He used to like hunting. When I tried to stop him, he never listened to me. Now that he started cultivation, they want their lives back and are trying to stop him from walking on the path of cultivation. That's why he is having these sickness symptoms." I told him, "You must start cultivating diligently. The sentient beings in your world are waiting to be saved by you. Eliminate all the evil elements in your world with righteous thoughts, so the sentient beings can have a beautiful and nice home."

Since then, practitioners understood the importance of cultivation. If we don't cultivate well, it not merely affects us, it also determines if many sentient beings are saved or not. If we don't cultivate well, the sentient beings in our worlds will not be saved.

The Situation in Other Dimension When Our Minds Are Not Righteous When Sending Righteous Thoughts

I often join group Fa study. I noticed that those practitioners who are not doing well in "clarifying the facts" and not so diligent are usually those who don't study the Fa well, don't have good enlightenment quality, and lack righteous thoughts. When these practitioners send righteous thoughts, often their hand gestures are incorrect, and their hands often drop. When sending righteous thoughts, their main consciousness is not clear; they often doze off and nod. I saw in other dimensions the dark minions and rotten demons jumping around the dimensions of their hands, doing different things and having fun. They said while they were playing, "This practitioner goes to sleep while sending righteous thoughts; he provides us the space to have fun. We are having so much fun." This is giving the old forces, dark minions, and rotten demons the excuse to interfere. This is caused by holding on to too many human attachments.

The Dangers of Not Being Strict with Oneself

Some fellow practitioners' minds are not upright. Their hearts are not on cultivation, and the things they do are not on the Fa. These cause the interference of thought karma. No matter if it is the abnormal status of health or family conflicts, that is directly related to one's xinxing (moral character). I saw that the evil elements, dark minions, and rotten demons in other dimension often cause interference and persecute these practitioners.

Now we are at the final stage of the Fa-rectification. I suggest that fellow practitioners quickly help those practitioners who are yet to step out or are not so diligent to step out of humanness and become diligent. Help them join group Fa study and share with fellow practitioners. Let's help each other so that together we will elevate and improve, do the "three things" Master requires of us well, and catch up with the pace of Fa-rectification.

I wrote this to remind and help fellow practitioners to walk the rest of our path well.

The above is what I have seen and enlightened to at my current, limited level. Please kindly point out anything that is not proper.
