The recent events in Tibet and the Tiananmen Square Massacre have something else in common. In both cases, the CCP first planted stolen goods on innocent people, and then cruelly crushed them.
Prior to the bloodshed in Tibet, it is reported that Communist officials dispatched a group of thugs to mingle with the Tibetans. The thugs were the first to destroy and rob stores, and the first to loot and burn stores and vehicles.
They also carefully prepared the weapons, that is, stones and rocks, and encouraged the Tibetans to pick them up and attack the armed police, hurling them at their vehicles.
The riot unfolded under CCP direction and incitement, and the Tibetans fell into the trap, giving the officials the excuse they were looking for to move in and massacre the local people. The Party mouthpiece state-run TV station immediately aired what appear to be pre-made and carefully shot "riot" scenes, bringing the violence into living rooms all across China. All was carefully contrived to turn public opinion against the Tibetans, and give the Party the "justification" it needed to move in and crush the heretofore peaceful protesters.
How cunning and deceitful!
In the hours leading up to the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989, much the same happened. Party officials alone directed the scene, and made their thugs set vehicles on fire, threatening Chinese soldiers, and then framing the student protesters as the culprits. Not long after, of course, the tanks and machine guns rolled in, and Tiananmen Square ran red with the blood of hundreds, perhaps even thousands, of innocent Chinese students. Their "crime?" Publicly standing up and protesting, beseeching the CCP to consider more far reaching political reforms.
During the nine-year long persecution of Falun Gong, the CCP's official persecution policy has been to "destroy them physically, bankrupt them financially, and defame their reputation." The CCP has framed Falun Gong with "crimes" it didn't commit numerous times. In fact, it has gone to ridiculous extremes to turn public opinion against Falun Gong.
On April 23 and 24 of 1999, some Falun Gong practitioners in Tianjin went to tell Tianjin Educational Institute officials the facts about Falun Gong. They asked the officials to correct a widely published defamatory article written by He Zuoxiu. The regime ordered Tianjin Police Department officials to dispatch over three hundred anti-riot police to drive the practitioners away. Many were beaten, and forty-five were detained. They told the other practitioners that they should go to Beijing because only the Central Government leaders were able to solve the problem.
On April 25, they did just that.
Over ten thousand practitioners gathered in front of the State Appeals Bureau in Beijing, wanting to meet with government officials and discuss what was going on. Officials directed the police to lead the practitioners to an area close to Zhongnanhai (the CCP central government compound). The practitioners peacefully waited for the country leaders, and after the problem was resolved, they peacefully left. The practitioners had done nothing wrong. Numerous reports describe the protest as universally peaceful, quiet and respectful. The area around the protest was left cleaner than it had been prior to the gathering.
Regardless, party mandarins took advantage of the incident to twist the facts and widely broadcast that ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners had "surrounded and attacked" Zhongnanhai.
This lie laid the foundation for the Communist regime to begin its persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999.
A relentless propaganda campaign then began in which countless lies were told to turn public opinion against Falun Gong. Mental patients who committed murders were publicly labeled as "Falun Gong practitioners," and the propaganda machine spread rumors that it was Falun Gong that led to not only the murders, but the madness as well. This happened repeatedly, and in many parts of the country. The details differed and the crimes involved differed, but the intent of all was the same: Demonize Falun Gong and Falun Gong practitioners and thereby turn public opinion against them.
The author of this article personally knows the details of one such case, related to an employee from the Kai County branch of industry and commerce in Chongqing City, who had mental illness. This person, by chance, got a copy of the book Zhuan Falun at a Falun Gong practice site and then practiced several movements of the Falun Gong exercises. Later his mental illness relapsed, and he jumped off a tall building and died. Party officials and all the state-run media loudly proclaimed that he had jumped from the building because he practiced Falun Gong.
There were many such examples. In the beginning of July 1999, the author personally saw the strictly confidential document, "Jiang Zemin's letter to the comrades of the Military Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China." This letter was distributed to the level of prefecture leaders. In this letter, Jiang stressed that there were too many people, including many Party cadres and government officials, practicing Falun Gong, which had "affected the Party's cohesiveness," "so the CCP should resolutely eliminate Falun Gong." This is the true face of the CCP in its persecution of Falun Gong.
Later the CCP fabricated many other cases to frame Falun Gong, such as the story of the Fu Yibin murders in Beijing; sixteen beggars poisoned to death in Zhejiang Province; Zhao He's killing a policeman in Inner Mongolia, Falun Gong practitioners spreading anthrax bacteria, and the story Falun Gong practitioners infecting themselves with SARS and then traveling to various places in China to spread the infectious disease. These were all very shocking and ridiculous news, but the public had no way to know that they were all lies.
The CCP also claimed that Falun Gong practitioners were responsible for all manner of disturbances and protests; that Falun Gong was responsible for virtually all of China's ills.
The most powerful propaganda even; the event that fooled the most people the most effectively, and for many millions, remain fooled even to this day, was the staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident. This one was broadcast around the world, and virtually around the clock for months in China. It was so effective in achieving its sinister propaganda purpose that it resulted in a vast escalation in the persecution of Falun Gong.
The incident saw several people, falsely claimed to be Falun Gong practitioners, set themselves on fire in Tiananmen Square. The event was filmed and broadcast widely. Analysis of the footage, however, reveals many flaws, and ultimately, leads anyone to the conclusion that the event could only have been premeditated and planned by the government to make Falun Gong look bad.
Such flaws in the story include the very fact that it was all caught on video. Why were cameras right there at exactly the right time and place to catch the fireworks in all the vastness of Tiananmen Square? Why did the police happen to have fire extinguishers on hand, and so many of them? Why did the police hold up fire-smothering blankets, but wait to go in and save the burning victims until the video had been filmed? Why did the CCP lie and say that the video came from CNN? Why did the CCP claim that one woman died from the fire, when slow motion analysis of the video suggests that she was struck dead from behind by a police officer? Why did the person pretending to be a Falun Gong practitioner sitting in meditation have his legs crossed the wrong way; a way that a true Falun Gong practitioner never would? Why was he engulfed in flame while the plastic soft drink bottle in his lap intact? The entire event was clearly staged for propaganda purposes. What a tragedy!
Today, the killings in Tibet again show the world the cunning and underhanded means that the CCP uses to suppress dissent. As long as the CCP can achieve its evil purpose and keep its dictatorship, it will use any means to do all kinds of inhumane things.
In the fifty years since the CCP came into power, its policies have directly or indirectly resulted in the untimely deaths of eighty million Chinese people. The CCP is a wolf in sheep's clothing that kills people without even blinking its eyes. Only by breaking away from, giving up, and completely disintegrating this evil Party, can all the ethnic groups in China regain their freedom.
34 million people have already renounced their memberships in the CCP and its related organizations. Spreading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party will help more people to clearly see the CCP's true evil nature, and encouraging even more to renounce their Party memberships will ultimately lead the Party to crumble and fall, and true freedom for China and her people can finally have a chance.
