(Clearwisdom.net) On August the 25, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Switzerland again went to the renowned shopping avenue of Bahnhofstrasse, in Zurich, to hold an information day. They informed passersby about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist regime that has been ongoing for over eight years.
Tourists from Italy, France, Japan and many other countries around the world could all find truth-clarification materials in their native languages at the information stand. On the various display boards, people could see the spread of Falun Gong in over eighty countries around the world, and the bloody persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist regime."
The practitioners had a table where passersby signed a petition to oppose the persecution. Above the table was a black banner with shocking scenes of living Falun Gong practitioners' organs being harvested. A large red SOS was followed by words written in German, "Falun Gong practitioners' organs are being harvested in China. Falun Gong practitioners' bodies are cremated to destroy the evidence after their organs are harvested while they are still alive."

"Torture and Slaughter Violates Human Nature"
Mata is a lady from Croatia who now lives in Switzerland. She asked practitioners in great detail why Falun Gong was persecuted and about the spread of Falun Gong before the persecution. She also signed the petition calling for an end of the persecution. She explained her reason for signing the petition, "I feel strongly that this torture and slaughter violate human nature. We have to uphold moral standards."
She hadn't before heard of Falun Gong, but after listening to practitioners' explanations, she learned of the Chinese Communist regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. She said, "This persecution is immoral. This behavior seriously violates human rights. Everyone has the right to live freely, and should respect each other, support each other and help each other."
She also learned about the atrocity of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist regime. She said, "This deeply frightens me. This should not be allowed to occur." She hoped that Chinese people could make this information openly available to the public so that people could open their minds and live together with more sincerity.
"The Persecution Is an Abuse of Human Rights"
Two teenage girls signed the petition calling for an end to the Chinese Communist regime's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. When asked why they signed the petition, one of them, Barbara, said, "I feel that such persecution is not fair. Every human being has human rights. This is an abuse of human rights."
Barbara learned about Falun Gong when she saw Falun Gong practitioners protesting the persecution in Hong Kong. Talking about the persecution, Barbara said, "This is not justice. People should have the right to choose their belief and how to live their lives. This persecution is illegal."
She said finally, "Let people to live according to their own wills. Let people have more freedom."
"Chinese People Should Start to Think Independently"
Forian and his friends carefully read the photo and illustration displays about the persecution suffered by Falun Gong practitioners over the past eight years. They then signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution. In his high school time, Forian had learned about Falun Gong and the persecution in a lesson about China. He said, "Falun Gong is good. I think that doing such peaceful exercises would help people mentally. It is very good."
The reason for his signing the petition is "There is no freedom of speech in China. I think it is a terrible thing to persecute such peaceful people. I think it is more terrible that in today's modern society, freedom of speech is still forbidden. I feel especially sad that because of economic benefits, all other countries become extremely tolerant of the Chinese communist regime. If China was not such a large market, I think other western countries would not have been so tolerant to the regime. I think it is really terrible. Merely because of money, they don't come forward to end this persecution."
He hoped that "All Chinese people can start to think by themselves instead of just following orders from the authorities. They should truly start to think independently."
