(Clearwisdom.net) On June 25, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Turkey protested at the Chinese Embassy against the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) eight-year brutal persecution of practitioners who believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."  They condemned the CCP's atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, calling for an immediate end to these crimes.

At 11 o'clock in the morning, Falun Gong practitioners held up memorial photos of Chinese practitioners who were tortured to death, displayed banners such as "Stop Persecuting Falun Gong," "Organ Harvesting Will Not Go Unpunished," and "Falun Gong Is Good," and displayed materials that exposed the CCP's torture methods to protest the Communist regime's barbaric persecution of Falun Gong practitioners for the past eight years.

The organizer of the event, Ms. Cansin Goldring, read a "Letter of Protest" on behalf of the Turkish Falun Gong Association and all Falun Gong practitioners in Turkey.  The "Letter of Protest" went as follows:

"Since July 20, 1999, the CCP started large-scale arrests and a frenzied persecution of a group of peaceful Falun Gong practitioners who believe in 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance'.  It carried out genocide policies such as 'destroy their reputations, bankrupt them financially and annihilate their bodies'.  The atrociousness of torture methods used was chilling, "a form of evil we have yet to see on this planet," as described by the international society.

"The brutal persecution has lasted for nearly eight years, during which time Falun Gong practitioners have continually peacefully protested by following the principles of 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance'.  Today, Falun Gong has not been eliminated.  Instead, it has been spread far and wide all over the world.  The CCP regime's crimes of genocide have also been fully exposed to the world's people.

"We protest against the CCP's tyranny.  We urge every Chinese person that has any conscience left to see through the evil nature of the CCP and to renounce the CCP and all its affiliated organizations.  Through this persecution, choose the right position for your future.  Meanwhile, we call on the Turkish government and the public to lend a helping hand in stopping the blatant defiance to the morality of all mankind."

During the event, which lasted nearly an hour, Falun Gong practitioners earnestly answered every question raised by the public or the media.  They distributed leaflets, DVDs and the Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China by independent investigators from Canada to all of the spectators, on-duty police officers and reporters.

The event was well supported by the Turkish Security Department.  To ensure practitioners' personal safety and to prevent the Chinese Embassy staff from instigating trouble, the Security Department took the initiative to dispatch a dozen or so officers to keep order on the site.
