1. [Taihe County, Anhui Province] Several Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested and Had Money Extorted
Falun Gong practitioners from Miaoji Town, Taihe County held an experience-sharing meeting on May 25, 2007. Someone reported them to the police. Miaoji Police Station chief Li Zhu led the village officials. They arrested 17 practitioners including the Ms. Sun Guidan couple, Ms. Han Fangmei, Ms. Guo Fengxia, Mr. Yu Yuxiang, Ms. Yang Xiuli, Mr. Han Yuzhong, Mr. Han Yucai, Mr. Li Hengchao, and a practitioner surnamed Du. Every practitioner had 2,000 yuan extorted from him or her and was then released. Those practitioners who did not have money were put into a custody center or a detention center.
Personnel from the Political and Judiciary Committee, 610 Office, the Police Department, and from the National Security Division in Taihe County have sentenced more than 200 practitioners since July 20, 1999.

2. [Beijing] Personnel from the Chaoyang District 610 Office Arrested Several Elderly Practitioners
Personnel from the Chaoyang District 610 Office arrested more than 30 practitioners from the Shuangqiao Area on May 17, 2007. Sixteen practitioners were released the next day. It is said that those arrested practitioners were all older practitioners. Their computers and printers for making truth-clarifying materials have been confiscated.

Police arrested nearly 70 practitioners from Changchun City from May 9 to May 26, 2007. These practitioners are being held at the Shuangyang Detention Center. They are staging a hunger strike.
Personnel from the Changchun National Security Division, from the Erdao District Police Department, and from the police stations in the Erdao District plotted to sentence practitioners held at the city's No. 3 Detention Center to forced labor as of May 28, 2007.

6. [Yinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Du Yihe Arrested and His Home Ransacked
Practitioner Mr. Du Yihe is from Dongcaiyuan Village, Sucun Town, Yinan County. Sucun Town officer Jiang led four ruffians and broke into and ransacked Mr. Du's home. Police beat him and put him into a police vehicle where they beat and kicked him. Mr. Du is presently being held in the county's detention center.
Mr. Du's wife returned at 10:00 p.m. and found the door to their home wide open.
Mr. Du had been sentenced to three years of forced labor. He was released after his forced labor term was extended for two months. Jiang ransacked Mr. Du's home in 2003.

7. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Yang Qinghua Has Been Released, But Her Husband Is Still in Detention
Practitioner Ms. Yang Qinghua and her husband, Mr. Zhang Baozhong, from Xingtai City were sentenced to six and eight years of imprisonment, respectively, in 2004. Ms. Yang was held at the Hebei Province Women's Prison and has been released, but her husband is still being held at a prison.
8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Practitioner Wang Yu'e and Others
Personnel from the Changyi City 610 Office colluded with officers from the Zhangling Town Police Department. They arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Yu'e; her husband, Mr. Yue Mingpu; practitioners Mr. Zhang Shifu; and Ms. Zhang Shimei from Laoxi Village, Zhangling Town, Changyi County, Weifang City, on May 25, 2007. These practitioners are being held at the county's detention center.

9. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Chen Shuxun Arrested
Four officers from the Jinggou Town Police Station in Weifang's Gaomi City broke into practitioner Mr. Chen Shuxun's home in Dalijia Village the morning of May 22, 2007. Police asked Mr. Chen whether he still practiced Falun Gong. Mr. Chen said, "Yes." He then told the police the benefits he derived from practicing Falun Gong. However, the four police officers put him into a police vehicle and ransacked his home. Mr. Chen is presently being held at the Gaomi Detention Center.

10. [Wuping City, Fujian Province] Persecution of Practitioner Zhong Donglan
Practitioner Ms. Zhong Donglan from Wuping City was arrested and put into a detention center on May 17, 2007.
Ms. Zhong, 40 years old, started to practice Falun Gong in 1998. She was persecuted many times after July 20, 1999, and was held for two weeks in July 2000. She was sentenced to three years of imprisonment in November 2000 because she distributed truth-clarification flyers in Longyan City, Fujian Province. Her older brother, Mr. Zhong Wensheng, who began Dafa study in 1998, was also arrested and sentenced to imprisonment. Mr. Zhong is presently being held at the Minxi Prison. Ms. Zhong's older sister, Ms. Zhong Xiaolan, who also began Dafa study in 1998, was held for two weeks and was later released after having 3,000 yuan extorted from her.

11. [Jilin Province] Police Arrest Practitioner Gu Guiyan
Officer Liu Junhu from the Lanjia Police Station led two police officers to Lujiatun Village and arrested practitioner Ms. Gu Guiyan the morning of May 17, 2007. Later on, six police officers ransacked her home and confiscated some Dafa books. Ms. Gu has not yet been released.
12. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Practitioner Qu Jianhui Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor
Police arrested practitioner Mr. Qu Jianhui from a practitioner's home on March 14, 2007. Mr. Qu has been sentenced to two years of forced labor and put in the Gao'an No. 2 Detention Center.

Police arrested practitioner Ms. Lu Xiumei from He County, Chaohu City, because she distributed Dafa truth-clarifying materials. Police recently sentenced her to forced labor.

Practitioner Ms. Sun Xingzhen is from Nancaozhuang Village, Zhonghanzhuang Township, Wangdu County. She took her son to see a doctor in Baoding City on May 20, 2007. Police from Hanzhuang Township arrested her when she was on her way home. They ransacked her home at 9:00 p.m. that day. Ms. Sun is presently being held at a detention center.

17. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Gao Maoqin and Wang Xinzhen Arrested
Several officers from the Chengdu City's Jianshe Street Police Precinct broke into the homes of practitioners Ms. Gao Maoqin and Ms. Wang Xinzhen at 5:00 p.m. on May 17, 2007. They confiscated many Dafa books and truth clarification materials and took the two practitioners to the police station at 7:00 p.m. They sent them to the Pi County Detention Center the afternoon of May 18, 2007. The two practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.
18. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Teng Shuyun Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Teng Shuyun, 46 years old, is from Zhuangyuantou Village, Qishan Town, Zhaoyuan City. Five officers from the Qishan Town Police Department, including Song Shiping, arrested Ms. Teng at the Dapeng's Zhushizidao Vermicelli Factory the morning on May 16, 2007.

Personnel from the Longwan Frontier Defense Police Station arrested practitioners Ms. Zhang Aihua and Ms. Shi Bingxia from the Xin District, Huludao City, and put them in the city's detention center for persecution.
20. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Practitioner Liu Chunxia Sentenced to Forced Labor
Practitioner Ms. Liu Chunxia from Changsha City was arrested on April 8, 2007, when she was distributing truth clarification materials. She is presently being held in Zhuzhou City's Baimalong Forced Labor Camp for a one-and-a-half-year term.
21. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Liu Dongmei Arrested
Meizhou City police have arrested practitioner Ms. Liu Dongmei many times since July 20, 1999. Personnel from the Bingcun Town Government, from the police department and from the 610 Office in Meizhou City forced Ms. Liu to pay a 3,000 yuan "deposit" before 2001 as a means to prevent her from appealing in Beijing. They claimed they would return the money in a year later, but Ms. Liu has not gotten the money back yet.
Ms. Liu went to the town government to request her deposit back on May 8, 2007. They did not return it. Ms. Liu then went to the home of the person who took the money from her on May 27, 2007, but they refused to let her in.
Personnel from the Bingcun Town Government, from the police department, and from the 610 Office in Meizhou City arrested her again the morning of May 28, 2007. Ms. Liu's whereabouts are unknown.

23. [Tianjin] Practitioners Xiao Guimin, Li Huandi and Jing Jiayun Arrested
Practitioners Ms. Xiao Guimin, Ms. Li Huandi, and Ms. Jing Jiayun from Jinghai County, Tianjin, were arrested and taken to the county's detention center.
24. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Wu Zhihong Arrested and Her Whereabouts Unknown
Practitioner Ms. Wu Zhihong from Zhuozhou City was arrested in Beijing. Several police officers from Beijing ransacked her home at 10:00 p.m. on May 25, 2007. Her whereabouts are unknown.
25. [Shandong Province] Practitioner Wang Xunlan's Forced Labor Term Will Be Extended
Practitioner Ms. Wang Xunlan, in her 50s, used to be on the hygiene staff in the Qilu Petrochemical and Plastic Factory office building. Someone reported Ms. Wang to police in November 2003 because she clarified the facts of Falun Gong to others. Personnel from the Zibo City Qidu Police Station and from Gongshan Police Station arrested her and sentenced her to three years of forced labor. Ms. Wang is presently being held at the city's Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp's No. 3 Division. Her husband went to visit her, but was prohibited from seeing her. Police claimed they would extend Ms. Wang's forced labor term.
About 200-300 practitioners are still being held at the Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp.

26. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Liu Zhaorong's Home Ransacked
About 20 officers from the Pengzhou City's 610 Office, from the Longfeng Town Government and from Guankou Police Station broke into practitioner Ms. Peng Zhaorong's home at 7:00 p.m. on May 22, 2007. Ms. Wang and her husband were irrigating their seeded field at that time. Only her daughter-in-law and her grandson were at home. Her bedroom was locked. Police climbed onto the roof, opened the attic window, and got into the bedroom. They confiscated one of Master's pictures, two copies of Zhuan Falun, a copy of Master's writings, a tape recorder, two of Master's lecture tapes, and two exercise tapes.

Personnel from the Chicheng County Police Department, 610 Office, and from the county's Political and Judiciary Committee arrested 13 practitioners from April 23 to 25, 2007. Seven practitioners--Mr. Zhao Bingheng, Mr. Wang Yuhai, Ms. Wang Yufeng, Ms. Guo Xiulin, Ms. Chen Haiyan, Ms. Wang Yuzhen, and Ms. Lin Cuilian--are still being held at different detention centers in Chicheng County, Huailai County, and Zhangjiakou City. These practitioners' detention terms have been extended and the police are continuing the persecution.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Jinping from Qingyuan County, Fushun City, was arrested from her home at 3:30 p.m. on May 28, 2007. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Liu is presently being held at the Dashagou Detention Center.

32. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Police Ransack Practitioners' Homes Claiming to Be Checking Household Registration Cards
Officers in Kunming City checked household registration cards door to door. They were attempting to find and persecute those practitioners who are not registered in Kunming City. They even ransacked practitioners' homes to find Dafa books and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Some officers tried to force a practitioner to sign a document. If the practitioner did not sign, the police threatened to send him to a brainwashing center.
The police also monitored practitioners who were just released from forced labor camps. Some practitioners' workplaces also colluded with police. They duped practitioners into stepping out of their homes and then took them in brainwashing centers.
