(Clearwisdom.net) (Minghui/Clearwisdom correspondent Wang Ying) On May 5, 2007 the American Transplant Congress (ATC) -- the 7th joint American transplant meeting of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) and the American Society of Transplantation (AST)-- was held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. Several thousand specialists, scholars, and medical personnel connected to organ transplantation attended the meeting. The meeting is held to support the exchange of opinions on ethical issues surrounding organ transplantation. Falun Gong practitioners in San Francisco went to the venue to explain the facts so that doctors at the meeting would know about the CCP's atrocities of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Falun Gong practitioners set up banners in front of Moscone Center which read, "Please help stop the illegal and immoral organ harvesting in China" and "Strongly condemn the CCP's massacre of Falun Gong practitioners detained in concentration camps".
On Saturday, many doctors at the meeting said they learned of the CCP's live organ harvesting at the World Transplant Congress in Boston last year. They were pleased to see Falun Gong practitioners and said the issue should be exposed on a larger scale.
A worker at the Moscone Center saw the practitioners' banner exposing the CCP's live organ removal. She was shocked and said, "It's terrible. It is a beastly act. It's hard to believe humans can do such a thing."
She suggested that practitioners let more people know about the issue. When hearing that twenty one millions Chinese quit the CCP, she was pleased. She signed the petition calling for an end to the CCP's atrocities of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners.
A doctor from Egypt said that he knew of the CCP's organ harvesting from detainees. He was shocked when hearing about the CCP's organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners.
He said that he would warn his patients not to go to China for organ transplantation. He said he knew that fifty percent of patients who went to China for organ transplant got infections.
He said, "I support Falun Gong practitioners' exposing the issue and stopping the live organ harvesting in China." He said he would bring a camera on the next day to take photos of the practitioners' banners.
A doctor from Brazil, said that patients in Brazil need to wait for one or two years to get organs and that organ donation needs approval from a judge. Organ donors must be close relatives of patients.
He was shocked at the CCP's live organ harvesting, and condemned the atrocities. He said that AST should restrict the CCP's actions. He said, "What Falun Gong practitioners are doing is effective. I support their efforts. They should let more people know about this." He suggested distributing more literature that would have an effect on doctors from China.
