1. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Yuzhi Taken into Custody
At around 3:30 p.m. on April 3, 2007, officers at the Dongsheng Police Station in Xuanhua District took practitioner Ms. Liu Yuzhi into custody at her home without cause. Recently several other practitioners have been harassed by the neighborhood administration offices or police stations.

2. [Hubei Province] Authorities at Fanjiatai Prison Forbid Visits From Practitioners' Families
On February 6, 2007, ten practitioners unlawfully held in the Duanqinkou Prison in Hubei Province were secretly transferred to Fanjiatai Prison in Shayang County. In Fanjiatai Prison whenever family members arrive, the general rule is they are permitted to visit right away. However, Falun Gong practitioners can only meet their visiting family members on designated days. In addition, their family members have to present letters from the “610 Office” in charge of their local residential area. Even a 10-year-old child has to present his or her identification card.

3. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Held at the No. 2 Detention Center
At around 3:00 p.m. on April 2, 2007, practitioner Ms. Liu from Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, was arrested by officers at the state security division of the Haigang District Police Station in Qinhuangdao City while she was distributing “truth-clarifying” materials. Ms. Liu is being held at the Qinhuangdao Detention Center for Administrative Offenses (also known as the No. 2 Detention Center). It has been learned that several practitioners are also being held there.
4. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Two Practitioners Arrested upon Returning Home after Being Forced to Stay Out of Town
At around 3:00 p.m. on April 4, 2007, officers at the Minzhu Police Station broke into the home of practitioners Mr. Xia Linkun and his mother, Ms. Jia, both of whom had been forced to leave home for years and had just returned. The officers forcibly took Mr. Xia to the detention center.
At around 5:00 p.m. the same afternoon, practitioner Mr. Zhang Bo in the Xinzhan Area in Tonghua City was arrested by police officers who were staked out just outside his home. Mr. Zhang had just recently returned home after being forced to leave town for several months. He was coming back from the kindergarten where he had gone to pick up his child.
5. [Ji'an City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Luo Xizhen Taken into Custody
Between April 1 and April 2, 2007, practitioner Ms. Luo Xizhen from Qinghe Town in Ji'an City was taken into custody by the Qinghe Police Station. Ms. Luo had returned home not long ago after being forced to stay away from home for years.
6. [Wenling City, Zhejiang Province] Update on Detained Practitioners
On March 14, 2007, practitioners Mr. Li Tianyun, Mr. Chen Maoxin, and Mr. Deng Kunhe were taken to the Wenling City Detention Center for no reason. They returned to the factory where they work. Mr. Han Ping, Mr. Zhao Linbing, Ms. Wang Honghui, and Mr. Guo Xiaobo remain in the detention center.

On March 15, 2007, officers at the Wendeng City Police Department took Mr. Bi Yongchun and his wife, Ms. Bi Jianchun, from Shanqian Village in Houjia Town, Wendeng City, Shandong Province, into custody. They are still being held in the Wendeng City Detention Center, even after the maximum number of days for such detention has passed. The police confiscated some equipment and all the Falun Dafa books from their home.
8. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Fan Xiaofeng Taken to Brainwashing Center
Around February 10, 2007, practitioner Ms. Fan Xiaofeng from Guangzhou City went to the Gonghecun Farm Market for grocery shopping. Agents from the city 610 Office, who were waiting in the market, took Ms. Fan into custody in public and sent her to the Chatou Brainwashing Center in Guangzhou City. She remains in the brainwashing center. Her husband went to visit but was forbidden to meet with her.

10. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Practitioner Ms. Peng Jie Sent to Nanjing City Detention Center
On the morning of April 1, 2007, seven or eight officers from the Xuanwu Police Department took Ms. Peng Jie into custody. Ms. Peng lives on Yangjiangjunxiang Lane in Xuanwu District, Nanjing City. She is being held at the Nanjing City Detention Center.
11. [Tianjin] Ten Practitioners Taken into Custody by Officers in Charge of North Xianyang Road
On April 3 it was learned that a practitioner with the last name of Xuan (gender unknown) and practitioners Ms. Wang Min and her sister-in-law were taken into custody by officers in charge of the neighborhood on North Xianyang Road in Hongqiao District on March 22. It was also learned that seven other practitioners were taken into custody by the same group of officers on March 21.
12. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Practitioners Ms. Tang Xinghua and Ms. Peng Dingzhi Arrested
On the morning of April 2, 2007, practitioners Ms. Tang Xinghua and Ms. Peng Dingzhi from Yichang City were distributing truth-clarifying materials at Jiumatou by the riverside in Yichang City. They were turned in to the police and arrested. Their homes were unlawfully searched the same afternoon.
13. [Guangdong Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Yuehua Lost Contact with His Family
Practitioner Mr. Li Yuehua, in his 30s, is a teacher at the Qifuxintun Experimental School. At noon on March 31, 2007, he was to take a train from Guangzhou City to Shaoguan City. The train's final destination was Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. His family has not heard from him since. At 11:00 p.m. on April 2, 2007, police unlawfully searched his home, and confiscated a desktop computer. Mr. Li's wife had surgery for parotid gland (salivary gland) cancer. Her health was not optimal after the operation. Their daughter is ten years old. Mr. Li is the only source of income for the family.

Mr. Jin Ying is a physician at Jinying Clinic in the Qiaoxi District, Shijiazhuang City. On the evening of March 29, 2007, he was taken into custody for distributing truth-clarifying materials by officers at the Dongli Police Station in Qiaoxi District.

On April 3, 2007, a practitioner with the last name of Zhang (gender unknown) from Dadong District was followed while distributing truth-clarifying materials and subsequently arrested at the Liaoshen Police Station in Dadong District, Shenyang City.
16. [Zhijin County, Guizhou Province] Practitioner Mr. Fan Fagui Taken into Custody and Abused
Practitioner Mr. Fan Fagui is an employee at the Zhijin County Medical Company in Guizhou Province. In July 2005, he was taken into custody by the Zhijin County Police Station and the 610 Office. He was sent to Division No. 5 at the Zhongbaba Farm in Qingzhen Town. It was recently learned that Mr. Fan had been viciously beaten and held in a Small Cell in solitary confinement.
17. [Baicheng City, Jilin Province] Corrective and Supplementary Information on the Persecution of Practitioner Mr. Liu Meng
On April 2, 2007, Mr. Liu Meng (which was spelled mistakenly as Liu Yong), a practitioner at the Cadres' School of Public Transportation Authorities in Baicheng City, was in a class when officers from the Yaobei District State Security Division and the Baicheng City State Security Division arrested him. The officers also searched his home and confiscated a printer, a personal computer, and several copies of Falun Dafa books.
18. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Practitioner Ms. Xu Xiaoping Arrested at Her Home
On around March 22, 2007, practitioner Ms. Xu Xiaoping was arrested by police at her home. On the same day, the head of the Gulou District State Security Division led other officers to break into and search practitioner Mr. Ye Jinliang's home. A practitioner with the last name of Zheng (gender unknown), who lives near Baima Road, has lost contact with other practitioners.
19. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Xue Jinghua Taken into Custody by Police
Ms. Xue Jinghua, 60, lives at the family quarters of the transportation division of the Erdaoqiao Transportation Bureau. She was taken into custody by the police when she went to the Zhuguang Residential Community to distribute truth-clarifying materials.
20. [Chongqing] Recent Situations of the Six Practitioners Arrested in the Shapingba District
On the afternoon of October 5, 2005, six practitioners were arrested at Erkeshu at Pingdingshan Hill in the Shapingba District by officers from the Shapingba District Police Department. The practitioners learned from the officers that state security officers had followed the practitioners who carried cellphones.
Mr. Huang Zhen remains in custody at the Hechuan County Detention Center. Ms. Li Zonglan has been unlawfully sentenced to four years in prison by the Yubei District Court. She is being held in the Yongchuan Women's Prison. Ms. Li Xiuying has been sentenced to three years in prison by the Yubei District Court. She is being held in the Yongchuan Women's Prison. Mr. Yu Guanghe was sent by the Banan District Police Department to the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp in Beipei District, and is serving a 15-month term. Mr. Yu has returned home. Mr. Zou Xiaojun was sent by the Shapingba District Police Department to the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp in Beipei District and is serving a 12-month term. Mr. Zou has returned home. Mr. Qin Daqun was sent by the Shapingba District Police Department to the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp in Beipei District and is serving a 12-month term. Mr. Zou has returned home.

21. [Shandong Province] Some Practitioners from Shandong Province Still Unlawfully Detained in Labor Camps
The following eleven practitioners remain unlawfully detained at the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp and the Qingdao Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province: Ms. Zhong Shuhua, Mr. Jiang Tao, Ms. Li Li, Ms. Sun Huiju, Mr. Jiang Xijin, Mr. Jiang Yongxin, Ms. Wang Cuiping, Ms. Sun Huijun, Ms. Zhang Xingmei, Ms. Xu Guimei, and Ms. Liu Guiqin.

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Haiping is from Guanjie Village in Juling Town, Linying County, Henan Province. At 3:00 p.m. on April 2, 2007, he was taken into custody at his home by seven officers from the Juling Town Police Station, the county 610 Office, and the Political Security Division. 23. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Practitioner Mr. Huang Zhili Arrested
On the morning of April 4, 2007, the police arrested Mr. Huang Zhili, a practitioner at the Dongzhuang Mine in Zizhuang Township, Jiawang District, Xuzhou City.
Based on incomplete statistics, 24 practitioners were arrested between January 30, 2007 and February 24, 2007.
In addition, practitioner Guo Aiguo (gender unknown) from Xuzhou City was arrested at home at around 8:00 p.m. on March 20, 2007.
24. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Taken into Custody after Being Turned in to the Police
Mr. Tang Xinghua at the Yichang Branch of the No. 715 Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, her sister, and another practitioner were clarifying the truth in the Wujiagang District, Yichang City, Hubei Province, on April 2, 2007. They were reported to the police and taken into custody. Ms. Tang and her sister remain in custody. The other practitioner has been released and returned home.

Recently, members of the Xuyong County 610 Office and the county State Security Division in Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, often broke into practitioners' homes to harass them. Practitioners have been taken into custody twice. On April 3, a practitioner with the last name He (gender unknown) was arrested. Other practitioners have been placed under surveillance by officers who were staked out.

Practitioner Ms. Peng Jieying was turned in to the police while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. On the afternoon of April 4, 2007, she was taken into custody by the Macheng City Police Department. She is being held at the Macheng City No. 2 Detention Center. Recently the authorities have successively arrested four practitioners in Macheng City.
30. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ms. Yang Mei Arrested
At around 10:00 a.m. on April 4, 2007, a large group of officers arrived in four police vehicles at a hair salon operated by practitioner Ms. Yang Mei at Sanhechang in the Xindu District, Chengdu City. The police unlawfully searched Ms. Yang's bedroom and carried away several boxes of materials.
31. [Yanbian, Jilin Province] Practitioner Mr. Jin Taijun Sent to Gongzhuling Prison
Mr. Jin Taijun from Longjing City in the Yanbian area established a Falun Gong materials production site after he returned from the Republic of Korea (South Korea). One practitioner gave out Mr. Jin's name after being arrested, which resulted in Mr. Jin's arrest. Mr. Jin was held at the Longjing City Detention Center. It has been learned that he was unlawfully sentenced to five years in prison, and he was to be sent to the Gongzhuling Prison and held in a small cell for solitary confinement. His family has never been allowed to visit him.
32. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] 610 Office Plans to Take Practitioners to Brainwashing Center
Recently, a residential committee and police station, under the instigation of the 610 Office, tried to talk an elderly female practitioner into attending brainwashing sessions. The officials continued to harass her after she refused to cooperate. She had to leave town. It has been learned that the Yichang City 610 Office plans to forcibly take several practitioners in Yichang City to the Tangxunhu Brainwashing Center in Wuhan.

34. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Rongcheng City Police Detain a Teenage Boy
On April 3, 2007, Xing Jianping (gender unknown) from the State Security Division of Rongcheng City and a dozen officers, including Liu Zhihong (male), from the Chengshan Town Police Station followed a teenage boy from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The boy was working at a supermarket. He returned home around noon. The officers followed him to his home, threatened him, and forced him to open the door. The officers unlawfully searched the place and took the boy into custody at the rented home in No. 3 Village, Chengshan Town.
The officers took away a television set, a DVD player, a personal computer, a printer, and 4,000 yuan in cash. The officers also took a cellphone, an address book with telephone numbers in it, and other items. The boy's parents have left town. The boy was possibly sent to the Rongcheng City Detention Center.
